I have ordered many things from this site and I've made many purchases from the stores. I have to say that some of Target's apparel is easily comparable, or superior, to some clothing I have purchased in a higher end department store. Your staff and policy makes it very easy to return/exchange merchandise. Target will continue being one of my choice shopping sites and stores.
Some of their online specials are really good... I'very gotten some hard to find items cheaper than anywhere with free shipping too.
The target in Boise near the mall is usually my go to. I recieved a gift card for $25 to target for Christmas and went to use it tonight and got to the checkout stand to find that it had been "closed" whatever that may be? So they tell me, there's absolutely nothing they can do about it. I HAVE to call the number on the back. Mind you i'm done checking out, have my bags ready, and they want me to call a 1-800 number... alrighty then. So i call, wait for 26 minuets, listen to horrible elevator music, and a voice recording of someone saying "your call will be answered in the order it was recieved, just one more moment" and now i'm mad. I have been sitting here for 26 MINUETS!? And they continue to tell me there is nothing they can do in the store. I was patient at first but now i'm really upset. They acted like it was some sort of joke and they had no power at all. They were so rude and quick to dismiss me. I can honestly say i will NEVER shop with target again. I will tell everyone i know the same, and to especially not buy gift cards from them to gift other people because unlike any other gift card you have to "activate" it, to do that you have to call al 1-800 # and sit on the line for over 30 min and deal with rude, inconsiderate employees. Defiantly not happy, and WILL NOT be back.
Pretty much if it's on sale, you cannot get it shipped... in store only. This is not why I shop online. The clothes have also gotten expensive and are not worth it.
The website is easy to use and navigate. The wide variety of product categories offered is one of the main reasons I continue to return for later purchases. Appreciate the option to find it in a local store or purchase online from the comfort of my own home.
Target offers the worse online shopping experience around. I wouldn't even shop here if it wasn't for the 5% off with the Target card. Their website is slow and terrible to navigate, their shipping speeds are atrocious (granted it is free shipping with RedCard), but I try to avoid them if I can find something for a comparable price elsewhere.
I specifically recall having to call their customer service over a missing order and it was a nightmare scenario. It took multiple phone calls and my issue wasn't completely resolved.

I have shopped at target here in Dover Delaware and have always had a wonderful experience and found the employees to be exceptional customer service people. It is one of the places I love to shop at.

I was looking for zip codes in St. Louis MO, Dallas TX, Chicago IL, etc. it was showing item not available. Lol.

I ordered a number of bags of snow melt because we live on a steep hill at elevation, and i buy these ten at a time. I placed an order since i had only two bags left. After placing the order, being informed that the product was in stock and set for free shipping with delivery within ten days (which would have arrived prior to the next ice storm on our hill), i received an email saying the shipping was delayed. A week later received another note regarding delayed shipping. Then the next evening got an email cancelling the order! Cancelled it?!?!? Yes. As i was out of town, as soon as i returned i called customer service, they informed me that they had a computer glitch at the time of the order resulting in cancellation. I had to reorder it, and when i said i need it now, will they take care of expedited shipping to get it to me quickly i was given ten minutes of excuses, and i finally gave up and cancelled the new order. This is unbelievable. I will never shop at Target, or Target.com again if this is their idea of customer service. I am going to try to cancel my registration with them to ensure that the next time they are hacked, that my information doesn't go out with everyone else's.
The disadvantages of ordering on line and told order now receive order by 12/23/16. Then on 12/22/16 you ger an email that states sorry your order will not make it until after the holidays. Thanks alot Target don't worry about me ordering anything else online.
They have a lot of products, probably not the SKU that Walmart does, but they have much friendlier employees and actually add cashiers, when needed, which Walmart does not.
I love Target, but often find the most popular prints and sizes out of stock. Sometimes, and I hate to say it, I can get the exact same items at other Big Brand stores for less as well. I like Target better though, as the associates are more gracious and the store is cleaner than most others.
Their web site is not as easy to get around as others and it is not accurate often of "in store only" items when looking to order on line for shipping.
My kids and I just shopped there with our church group to purchase gifts for children in need. What a treat. Target had everything: great bedding, sheets, toiletries, toys. And their checkout staff is wonderful.
I came to the store at 5am revcieved a ticket for a hatchimal and was told they give out as many tickets as hatchimals. So it's pretty safe to say I have one right? NO! I get to the store at 1030 and they tell me they don't have enough anymore and they can't hold them all day for people. I'm sorry the store opened at 7am I didn't realize 3.5 hours was all day. Some peoplexamples work and have a life. I have never been so upset. What a joke and calling customer service is a waste of time because all they do is tell you they are sorry. They don't care because who cares if they lose 1 customer they have millions more, what a joke.
I love target clothing but there are a few problems that I have with the store. One the gap between children's and adults clothing sizes is too big. It is too hard to find clothing for teens as the kids clothing is too small and childish, but the adults clothing is too large. Also the swimwear from this store wears and tears very easily.

To answer this question, IT DEPENDS on where you live and what you order. If you're right next to their warehouse, SURPRISE, it's there in a day and you think they are fantastic. If you live far away, the item is no longer in stock or they are slow to fill it, it could take six weeks. It did for us on a couple of occasions, SO it's the luck of the draw and certainly NOT better than Amazon.

Answer: I'm sorry. I ordered a lot from target.com and never had a problembefore, but when I finally did have a problem... hours and days on the phone. One of the service techs put me on hold for 30 minutes. Another put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up. Horrible.
Answer: I was unable to purchase a prepaid phone card with my gift card. This fact was not disclosed in the product description so I found out at the checkout when it was too late. Now am stuck with the useless gift card. I am very disappointed in Target shopping and will never buy anything from them ever again. I do not recommend Target shopping to anyone. Spare yourself some aggravation and shop elsewhere. Enough said.
