Target online is a mess. I ordered a coffee table posted on their website and received the wrong table twice. Turns out the picture posted was no longer available. I then tried to order a pair of pants and shoes that have yet to arrive. The shipment date was May 1st and the shipping info say's "in transit". I then recieved an email from asking how I liked my purchase... really? It took 3 tries to contact them but when I finally did they offered me a refund before even asking if I still wanted the items. Digging deeper I find out the items are low in stock. Terrible, TERRIBLE online service and communication between the warehouse, staff and customers. Get it together Target, you're big enough to handle this more professionally.
Every once in a while they are out of stock on items I want, but for the most part they are good with stocking and usually have a good inventory of items. Pricing isn't too bad.
I buy cloths and shoes from Target online. Never been disappointed. The sizes are true, shipping is free or pretty reasonable and the returns are a snap.
Target is fantastic for clothes and furniture that appear higher-end, so that's their reliable go-to. But I have found their food and every day prices to be much more expensive than Walmart, so that's where my business goes for day-to-day.
But their return policy is great and if you want higher quality for clothes and furniture, but not mall prices, Target is your place.
DO NOT BUY ON TARGET. I recently had one of the worst experiences in target purchases, I bought a mattress and a bed, so they gave me the mattress on the promised day, I paid extra, and then they changed the days of delivery, every day, I had to move and I had no place to sleep, after three hours on the phone, I stayed in suspense, because nothing really guaranteed that they would deliver, I explained that I am a sick person and 64 years old, I needed the items to be left In my apartment, they did not do it, they did not notify me, they left a broken and dirty box in the doorman office, I paid for delivery and I had to pay a tip to the doorman to be taken to my apartment the heavy mattress I am 64 years old and cardiac problems, I explain them a thousand times and they do not care about anything, the order- statement said Fedex, the customer services keep saying UPS, who knows the carry company, I didn't see it, I finally got the mattress and the product is not as advertised, it is lower and too soft, I select it firmly, because of my back problems, when I open it they say it can not be repackaged.
In the same order I bought a bed, they did not deliver the promised day, nor the following, they did not send it, it's in Minneapolis, locally to this date, I need a bed, and they continually send me emails with different information or that they do not know when they will send it, or send it on May 11, and I moved and I have no bed, as I explain I am a sick person with back problems, heart, and they pretend I will sleep on the floor, until they want to send them another junk, which is what they sell. The customer services keeping change, every day, the delivery day, I check the status in my order and the frame bed is in the deposit, so I wanted to cancel, they refused with excuses, I do not see the reason why Do not cancel it, I finally call because I wanted to cancel, they look for excuses to defraud me. I recommend DO NOT BUY IN TARGET, the stress added to their bad products, exhausted me, with great competition is not explained, do not make my mistake, I am so sorry to have ordered these products, they are Abusers to a senior citizen, they are not ashamed.
Never shopping here again because of their restroom policies. I "identify" as an Ivanka Trump shopper, so I would hate to be in the wrong restroom -- I mean store.
Not taking my daughter into a store where she'll be forced to use the bathroom with a man, that may or may not be a woman. Whatever makes people happy, but i'm not taking the risk with my child.
I have ordered several things from Target.com. Once I ordered baby bottles that never came in and was never updated on delay of my items. I just cancelled the order after about 2 weeks. This time I ordered an outfit for my husband's birthday party on the 22nd. I ordered on the 4/14 and computer said it will be in store on 4/21. Today 4/21 I get an email saying it was delayed. So I get online and track my order, it is 2 hours away from where I live and now it won't be delivered until 4/27 which is ridiculous. Target need to do better with shipping of items.
I order from Target regularly and have never had a problem. I use my red card for every purchase and save money!

I received a bookcase that i ordered online, the box was messed up. When I opened it the item was damaged to where I couldn't even put it together, they sent out another one and it had 3 different scratches on it. They refunded me for the first one, the second one they took 35 dollars off. It I'm paying over 100 dollars for an item it should NOT have had any marks. I should have been refunded for the both of them. I will not be ordering anything from them again.
I have been using their online portal to order organic fuel for the past two months, and the experience has been perfect so far. I will not be moving my business any time soon.

I don't order much from Target online but I have been getting Organic Valley Fuel, which I can't get locally. I buy it by the case but the first two orders consisted of one bottle each! Target quickly remedied that, and the last two orders have been correct. I'm looking forward to ordering more from Target online!
I tell the man I would like to have a waterproof speaker. He points to a set of speakers and says, "These are waterproof. These are great speakers." He then playz music on them and tells me they have great sound quality. So I spend 200 dollars on the speakers only to go home and find out they are not waterproof. So I go back to the store and ask for a return. The lady says, "I cannot do a return.
Are electronics department has a different return policy." So I am stuck with the wrong sort of speakers.
Then I come to buy a phone. They scam me into getting an awful phone plan with almost no data. I end up getting a 500 dollar phone bill.
Jeez Target. This is not customer service. These are awful experiences that make me wanna stay away from Target.
Where do I start? I do a lot of comparison shopping, and they always seem to have the lowest prices on most things, especially beauty products. I do own probably too many high end shoes and bags, but have recently bought a pair of faux suede sandals here( learned the hard way suede shoes get damaged easily, so don't spend your money there) that look like real suede and are a hot style that I've seen pretty much identical for, no kidding, hundreds of dollars more. I walked for hours in them, super comfortable. I have even bought a pair of jeans here and a couple of dresses and tees. And on top of that, the stores are well designed and stocked, with very nice, helpful employees. Keep your eyes peeled, they always have some great sale going on.
Then there's the website. Very easy to navigate, with an amazing selection and free shipping at $25.00. On top of that their customer service and return policy are top notch.
I would shop Target if they offered free shipping. We own a mom and pop cottages/motel and we do much online shopping for all kinds of business supplies. Targets prices are the same as competitors who ship for free too.
Great! I love this place where I used to work, co workers are here to help you in times the department store is busy from all customers. Love the people and very friendly. Prices are close to Walmart.
Target offers many great ways to save. They have the Redcard... debit from bank and save 5% on everything you buy. They have Cartwheel and that's additional savings. Lastly, you can also use a manufacturer coupon with these 2 savings to get awesome deals. You can also preorder stuff online or have things shipped.

To answer this question, IT DEPENDS on where you live and what you order. If you're right next to their warehouse, SURPRISE, it's there in a day and you think they are fantastic. If you live far away, the item is no longer in stock or they are slow to fill it, it could take six weeks. It did for us on a couple of occasions, SO it's the luck of the draw and certainly NOT better than Amazon.

Answer: I'm sorry. I ordered a lot from target.com and never had a problembefore, but when I finally did have a problem... hours and days on the phone. One of the service techs put me on hold for 30 minutes. Another put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up. Horrible.
Answer: I was unable to purchase a prepaid phone card with my gift card. This fact was not disclosed in the product description so I found out at the checkout when it was too late. Now am stuck with the useless gift card. I am very disappointed in Target shopping and will never buy anything from them ever again. I do not recommend Target shopping to anyone. Spare yourself some aggravation and shop elsewhere. Enough said.
