Same items with different prices. You really need to go through pages upon pages of the same items to check which item is cheaper.
Some items show 30-40% discount. But when scrolling further its at a cheaper price without the discount/promotion.
Logged a return and replacement, they credited my takealot account. But item is still available for purchase on the app.

Bought a laptop from Takealot.com as a gift for someone, we were not even able to install the software as the machine was faulty both with software errors and glitches and the internal hardware was audibly faulty - making strange mechanical noises constantly. I logged a return, and they are not willing to credit me or update me on anything about the situation

After not getting everything I ordered I was given the run around. I would not recommend them. Be very careful of those 5 pack products, they will send you less.
Bought an xbox series s off takealot the advertisement said that you get fifa 23 with it after paying for the item and going back to have a look at when its being delivered saw that fifa doesn't come with it i chose takealot because I thought it would be better than buying off of a bunch of different stores and they are saying that i wont get it after send proof that i should get it ill never buy anything off takealot again high dissatisfied with their service and i cant wait for amazon that in my opinion will shut them down after being in the US they are just much better
Very disgusted on your service, I got a present for my mother Blawless eyebrow trimmer and on collecting it when my mom opened the product and charged it, it went onto not been able to charge or operational. I took it back today sunday to the edenvale branch and the lady Pretty could not see the return item number on the computer and system and Pretty told me to come back Monday, I stated I have to return it tiday, as I work, been in a sarcastic manner Pretty told me to call customer care which I did and made sure Pretty heard from Conrad in the customer care that it was on the computer on the system and my husband stated that we were to leave the product there as my mom was leaving for kzn this Friday and it was urgent to be replaced and collected before Friday. I'm very disappointed in takealot Frontline Prettys manner and not been helpful at all. We have a letter signed and drawn up that Pretyy has the product and to put it into the system asap. It's so ridiculous that it takes so much stress and how a person is treated to return a product to takealot. I suppose it is what we order and collect that's quicker than a returned product on been rejected and told to leave as I'm not on the system, so unprofessional.
USELESS USELESS. They changed my delivery date 3 times already. Wish I could give them -1. My international parcel comes earlier than local services. To top it up when I phone the dates just get moved out. I rather pay import fees than know at least my parcel arrives on time, most of the time earlier to me as the client. Very disappointed in Takelot groups service and the customer experience they offer.

I orderd a projector from Take-A-lot.com and when it came to deliver the projector it was misplace/send to a wrong destination. Customer service can not assist you and keeps on escalating the problem without any good viable information. I will not use Take-a-lot.com again and spread this message to every body I know.

I orderd my two items from them for the very first time and when i was waiting for my delivery they jusy said i wasn't there. They did not bother to contact me and that time i call in sick at work so that i will be able to collect my delivery.
Sorted thank you - Takealot refunded the money for the damaged phone - not in the bank account but by giving us a credit
I have bought from Takealot many many times and can truely say they are great, return process is very easy and when I had a problem with one of my deliveries before Christmas it was sorted no problem. I will definetly keep buying from Takealot. Courier guys are great, Takealot staff very helpful. All around great company.
I'm not happy about the service offered by Takealot. Everytime I order something or electronic product it's either it doesn't work on arrival or stops working while using it... I've ordered 3 Fitpro watches, 1 for myself and 2 for my kids. The 2 watches I ordered for my kids do not want to connect to any app nor Bluetooth. While logging a return for the 2 watches the one I was using suddenly stopped working. Takealot came to collect all 3 faulty products on Monday morning 11th of July. On the 12th of July takealot only refunded me for 2 watches not 3. I want my refund back so that I can go buy these products somewhere else were it's reliable and where I can find good customer service
Paying a monthly fee on an approved seller account and we can't even seller in stock goods due to lake of seller support, unable to transfer stock from one TSIN number to a other... it has been 2 months that stock has been delivered at both DC's and we cant even do one sales... There is no escalation process then tickets are closed unresolved.
Takealot is one of the worst online shops out there. I ordered two products from them and Its been more than 30 days now I haven't got my products. On top of that the delivery status is saying my order has been delivered and today they sent me email for a return, I don't even have my products yet. Save your money don't buy from Takealot.

I started selling on Takealot 2 years ago. Everything was going well until I received return after return for the most ridiculous reasons. Customers allowed to open the products purchased, use it for days and send it back if they not happy with it. Torn and missing packaging, they are still allowed to return. Since last year October we have over 100 returns and we are not getting our stock back from Takealot. All they will give you is the backlog excuse. They do not reply to emails or Exceptions on your account. We have lost more than R90 000 in few months. They do not give a damn about their sellers. When they create a removal order for returns, and we send our courier to collect, the products are not ready or only a partial of the order can be collected. We have called them numerous times and send 30 mails, and still we get the pathetic backlog excuse. This is daylight robbery and they are getting away with it. No way of speaking to a manager or someone higher than the seller support working from home who say they will escalate to the relevant department. And NOTHING ever comes from that. We will now take this matter to media to warn people to not walk into this trap. Takealot will gladly take the R40 000 - R60 000 a month in fees from sales but will not do anything to assist in getting your stock back. This is absolutely disgusting behavior and we will no longer stand for this. This will and have sunk numerous companies and they just don't care. I think they forget where they started and how hard it is to grow a company in this current economy. For them its all about the money and themselves, nothing else.
