Wow! I have never had such a rude experience ANYWHERE! I would like to tell you her name, but I didn't get it. She had an accent. The time was 1:50 pm on Thursday, September 3rd. Horrible experience.
The shorts I ordered were WAY too small, so I had to return. FYI: I based my choice on their sizing table.
What I realized is they 'discount' the order price AND, in addition to that, the customer has to pay for the return shipping fees. I paid $55.99 for the shorts. They charged me $11.99 for the return and $4.99 to ship it back to them. I will get a refund of $43.01.
Unacceptable--period.
The nose plugs I ordered and received are completely worthless. Disgusting product that is designed and sold not to work.
I ordered a beach cart with "2 day guaranteed delivery" only to be emailed 8 days later that it was out of stock. Really ridiculous. Wish I would have read these reviews before trusting this company. Never again.
You get what you pay for, hear that one before? They sent a size of a rash gauard that my skinny daughter couldn't get over her head. We know they are tight fitting but Kyle in Customer service said that we are at fault and have to pay the return shipping.
Ordered three pairs of shoes month ago. Never received despite tracking info which is useless. They keep complaining about their delivery service. Not my problem. Keep on blaming corona virus. VERY hard to reach by phone, bordering on impossible. Hmmmm. I wonder why? Because you people are THIEVES.
First, I ordered a swimsuit. Upon opening discovered a 6 inch rip at the seams on side. They offered 10% discount only. I kept it, mended it, because I liked the style and there were no more of the same swimsuit for exchange. Ok but here's what really bothered me. I made a return of items worth $50 and were unused. They deducted about $5 from refund. They received the return in November 2019. Unfortunately for me, I just changed banks. So they had to refund me via refund check instead of credit card. Two months later they said they sent the refund check. I never got it. I emailed them. They said they only send checks at the beginning and end of the month. They said they would try again. Never got it. I called them. They said they don't have contact with the billing department (what the heck?) so they will send a memo, and will get in touch later. Several weeks pass, no check, no follow up. I call about 3 times now. Each time they're unable to help me, unable to confirm a refund check or anything because apparently they're not able to contact the billing department/corporate. I'm sorry but, that is a dumb thing to tell a customer. It just makes your business sound shady. This is your problem. I mean, what are you telling me this for? Now, strategy 2 - communicate with the same customer service representative each time. Before I'd talked to many people. And this person tells me the same story. Sent memo to Billings. Said she will call back, never did. So it's been 6 months and still haven't gotten my refund check or anything. Never trust this store or buy from them again. They don't take responsibility.
Ordered a swimsuit from their website, and the size I ordered didn't fit. I went on the website to process a return and get a refund (originally intending to re-order from the website). I found out while processing my return that they actually deduct $5 from what gets refunded to you to pay for shipping back. This is pretty tasteless, considering most ecommerce websites offer free returns. Would have ordered from elsewhere had I known this.
I would be very weary of the company falsely advertising products on their website. I recently attempted to purchase what I thought was an FCS JF-1 (surfboard fin) from them and instead received a completely different product that will not fit the FCS 1 fin template. When I contacted to company to address this issue they insisted that they did not falsely advertise the product and would not budge on fixing the issue other than offering me the ability to ship the item back and receive a refund. I do not think the company appreciates their customers time nor even the value of their customers at all based on my experience interacting with them via email and phone calls.
You will be better off shopping somewhere else.
I joined the membership but still got charged for return shipping fees, in fact got charged twice because I had to return two items from two different orders. There o way I return them in the same package (that'd make the return crews confused, according to their rep) Compare to most online retails, I don't think I enjoy as much of the experience. I was asked if I'm a robot so many time while browsing the site even after I signed in to my account. Members don't have any advantage of free shipping and free return is most of all ridiculous.
I work in e commerce. If we were to EVER publish the wrong price we would have to honor that price. Instead I got a phone call and asked if I wanted a refund. I said no, I wanted the swimsuit that I ordered for the price on the website. They told me it was their policy not to honor price on website and she would email me that policy. Guess what? I haven't gotten it emailed to me.
Disappointing, and terrible customer service.
I made the return and exchange the swim fin which I ordered too big. The website shows that the actual size I wanted was only fewer left. So I called customer service and explain him that I am going to return the one I have and going to order the right size over the phone since the items shows low stock. He wave the shipping as my item was exchange one BUT he did not tell me anything about my account status or use whatever appears on my account. Somehow, after I returned the first order fin and they refunded $10 less and they put it as promo credit and which will expired by 1/31 ( 10 days before).
I chat with Brittany and she said they can only refund partial and other part is put it in promotional credit. I told her " This is not fair, who would buy swim accessaries every month! I would use them in future and asked her to keep that amount as credit for future purchase" She said "she can't do it and I have to use it before the valid date. I have two swimmers and always recommend swimoutlet when someone asked for. I am with the swim team and I will not recommend this website any more. Really inconvenient, and hard to get fully refund once you return the merchandise. Better go to local sports store and try them on, feel the material and even if you don't like it after purchase, you can always return or exchange without paying postage which swimoutlet chage $4.99 for each return. NOT RECOMMENDED SITE.
Though Swimoutlet has products that I like, it is ridiculous in this day and age how long it takes for things to be delivered. I had a swim parka shipped and it took 12 days. When I queried about it their response was, well, it is only 8 business days! Seriously? I gave them one more shot and ordered some deck shoes. They were supposedly shipped on 12/30. Well it's the 8th of January and nothing. I will never do business with them again unless they change their shipping standards, or lack thereof.
Horrible company. Items took so long to arrive that my son's swim season was almost over. I contacted them after a month and the items will weren't being processed! They offered me a measly 10% discount due to the ridiculous time frame. What a waste of time. I told them to cancel the order and they tried to tell me, "it might be too late." What a crooked company.
I ordered our team suits for the first time using swimoutlet.com this season. For so many reasons I will never use swimoutlet.com again for our team suits. Just overall at every turn something went wrong. When this happened it would entail me calling them, which I came to dread. I burned up several of my lunches on the phone nothing was ever quick and easy.
A few of the notable issues were:
We were quoted a lower price when ordering our sizing kit. When we went to place our team order they increased the price by several dollars per suit. I later learned that I was supposed to get a quote emailed to me which they admit to not doing. This caused me to spend most of one day going back and forth with them on price huge waste of my time and all because I was not given a quote when ordering our sizing kit.
Our team order (nearly $1000 worth of suits) was incomplete (missing a few suits, but included suits we never ordered).
The team sales phone service was down for 2-3 days near the end of November which was frustrating
Not being fully refunded for the sizing kit once all the suits were returned. I counted and rechecked my return to make sure all were accounted for. They said I was one suit short.
Having to follow-up on returns because the status on swimoutlet.com said "waiting" when it had been delivered to them weeks ago
Every phone call to swimoutlet.com took a long time overall very clunky and inefficient. For example I had to give my card number three times because the "system timed out" or she was "on the wrong screen".
I would recommend if you are going to use swimoutlet.com for your team suits you have a lot of patience and a lot of free time.
Sizing was way off, and it would cost me half the price of the product in shipping to return it!
Poor customer service when I asked about making an exchange.
Lost what could have been a long term customer if they had simply let me exchange for the proper size, not to mention the warnings I will give all my teammates.
I ordered a swimming suit from SwimOutlet.com which stared to fade the first time I wore it for water aerobics. After the 6th one hour class, I examined it when dry and noticed the straps above water were the original color, with the suit that was in the water was very faded. I wanted a credit for another suit, but was told that I had already used, no deal. There was no warning that the suit should not be used in a pool and I cannot recall over my 70 years ever having a suit that faded so badly with short use.
Simple: SO sent an email that my order shipped. According to FedEx it did not. Why would a company misinform a customer? What is broken at SO? Logistics - ethics? That's it for me. From now on I order direct from Speedo.
I get it, companies cannot always control shipping. But they can control policy if the shipping standards are not met. Do not offer 2-6 business day shipping, then do nothing on business day 9 and product has not arrived. No statement credit. No future discount. Rep offered future free standard shipping (already free, and this one didnt even come in the standard time listed). Bad policy.
Answer: Now many outlets very expensive because live expensive and all price go up
Answer: It sucks. They don't give you a full refund. They deducted $12.00 from my $60.00 shorts. And then they had the odacity to charge me for the return shipping fees! Never again.
