I ordered swimsuits in size 22 based on the size chart on their website, but they turned out to be extremely small and completely unwearable. I contacted customer service multiple times, spoke with three representatives and even their bot — no response for over a week.
The size chart is clearly inaccurate, and the company has not taken any responsibility or offered a replacement. I have provided detailed explanations and photo evidence, but nothing has been done.
This experience shows serious problems with both product accuracy and customer service. I've been a returning customer, but after this, I've lost trust in the brand. Totally unacceptable.
Interantional buyers beware! I am an American customer living overseas that ordered 2 of the same item from SwimOutlet. Their postal tracking was useless and when the package finally arrived. One item was missing with the vague excuse 'in effort to ship your order as quickly as possible, the item(s) listed were cancelled.' And the other item was in a women's size (not the men's size I had ordered) so completely useless. Since this was an international shipment, they said they could only refund the items and not the shipping or duties. So I basically waited a month, received the wrong (useless) item, AND still had to pay for shipping (to Australia) with duties. It would have been fine if they had let me know that the item as no longer available in order to cancel the order but instead they shipped the wrong item leaving me liable for the shipping and duties that were part of the order.
Absolutely awful. I placed an order directly through their website on a Friday and paid extra for 2-day expedited shipping. The following Tuesday the tracking # showed that USPS had not even received the package yet. When I contacted Swimoutlet they insisted that they had shipped it even though tracking says otherwise.
They offered to re-ship my order, except that one thing I ordered was now out of stock and they refused to replace it with the exact same branded item in another color that was still in stock. Even if they reshipped the other items, they would not have been here before I needed them, which is why I had paid for expediated 2-day shipping the first time. I explained that I would now have to drive to the closest sporting goods store (25 min drive one-way, 50 min. Round trip) to be able to purchase all of the items I had already ordered from them to be able to have them in time for team practice.
I was told they would refund me for the expedited shipping charge in 2-6 business days, and that they would refund me for the actual order once I received it and shipped it back to them. Except according to tracking it was never shipped to me, so how can I return something that was never sent? When I asked this I was told that a supervisor had opened a lost package claim with USPS and *if* USPS deemed it a lost package within 6 business days *then* they would refund me. Except according to tracking USPS never even received the package from Swimoutlet, so of course they're not going to say that they lost an item that they never received in the first place. So now I get to file a chargeback with my credit card. What an enormous waste of my time and my money, as if all of us have either of these things to spare, especially right before the holidays
Charged me twice for an order and refused to accept responsibility. Refused to issue a refund. I attempted multiple times to resolve but they were not helpful at all.
I've been trying to get a refund on a bathing suit. Called company twice to check size and both times told they are true to size. Ordered a size up, large. Suit arrived, could not get over my head. According to their sizes, I would be a 4XL. I assume these are coming from China. Suit was returned to the company within 4 days, that was in April 2024. This is October and I have still not received my complete refund. The staff who work here are trained to lie. I was promised a refund a bit higher than it cost and assumed there was some compensation added in. Now I'm told the person made a math error and too bad for me. The company decided 8 weeks ago to reimburse my postal costs but would only send a cheque and told me I likely wouldn't be able to cash said cheque in Canada. I just learned they sent the cheque to the wrong address ( because the staff don't know what they are doing). Now they will not honour the original refund and I am out a considerable amount of cash. I would not give them any stars, they are by far the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I have attached the email from the company who agreed to reimburse me $184.57 but now refuses to do that claiming human error with no compensation for at least 50 phone calls to straighten this out. I call this FRAUD and hope they go out of business.
I ordered a swim cap and paid over $23. The cap was too big, which means the company should return for free. Well, I just received my reimbursement (after returning said purchase)...$10. Really? What a scam!
I ordered 2 ladies unitard suits & 1 pair of water shoes from SwimOutlet. One unitard was too large everywhere; the 2nd unitard was too small in the top half of the suit. The water shoes were at least 2 sizes too big although they were marked my size. Each return cost me $5.99 in return shipping charges.
I have ordered every swimsuit for at least 20 years from SwimOutlet. I found its prices to be reasonable and the swimsuits to be of good quality, made to last.
These last few products were poorly-sized and didn't correspond to US ladies clothing & shoe sizes.
I am disappointed with these weird, substandard products, and the return shipping charges that the customer pays to return swimsuits that don't conform to US sizes.
I found this off-sizing in another Chinese brand, Attraco, where the top & bottom & sleeve sizes do not correspond to US sizing standards. Not only did Attraco charge me to return its poorly-sized products, it required that I open a PayPal account so it could reluctantly refund about 80% of the cost of the order.
I am a ladies size 12 which is a common US size.
All this to say "Buyer beware."
I have ordered from you before and had to return a suit well i lost 12.40 cent on it i will make sure that i let everyone know about that so they can be aware as how much they loose from now on my suits will be bought local had to give you one star but i wish i did not have to give it a star
Swimoutlet promised me 1 day shipping—I paid $35 to get my product delivered FedEx the next day. This company says it actually has 2-3 days to deliver the product in fine print. They do not honor their customers. Do not buy from Swimoutlet—buy local.
I was referred to this site by my step daughters swim coaches. I ordered her a personalized swim parka on Nov.21. Once ordered, the site said 12-15 business days. December 16th I reached out and was told it was too late for the Christmas order and I accepted that as I had it personalized and that takes extra time. However I was told it would be arriving soon. We'll today is February 4th, 2024. Still nothing, just 'order received' on the site. They also received my money without batting an eye. So $83.40 later, I do not recommend this site.
Don't do business with swimoutlet.com. They are scammers. Classic bait and switch… wish I would have done some research first, but I trusted the Shop app I was using…
They sent me the wrong size item (by 4 sizes!) And yet, they will not pick it up for a refund- they expect me to drive it over for a return. I understand doing so if I had ordered something and changed my mind, but for something that is their error, it is insane that they won't provide a pickup label or just let me keep the inexpensive item. I will spend almost as much on gas returning it as on the item. Really poor customer service- buyer beware.
I ordered jammers from swimoutlet.com. I used size charts to find the right size (24). The jammers that got delivered was 2-3 sizes smaller than expected even though its size labels had size 24. Then I decided to order a bigger size even though according to size chart it would be way too big for my kid. And when it got delivered it was still too small! To be specific, I ordered size 26. According to swimoutlet's size chart for 26:
- waist: 26"-27.5"
- hip: 32"-33"
My kid's measurements:
- waist: 24"
- hip: 28"
I used our measurements to buy jammers, swim suits and trunks from Amazon quite a few times so I know they work. Considering that swimoutlet charges $5.99 for shipping and $5.99 for return they made me waste $24 for nothing! I usually buy good jammers from Amazon for $20! The only reason I had to buy from this site is that they sell custom branded jammers for my kid's swim team!
I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!
As a returning customer, I am very disappointed in the manipulative pricing by SwimOutlet. With Labor Day approaching I received numerous emails from this company about special discounts for the Holiday. Since I had credit with the company from previous return, I decided to take advantage of the Labor Day promotion. As it turned out, I paid more during the Labor Day "sale" than I did at the end of July 2023.
I would recommend carefully scrutinizing the prices while ordering from the SwimOutlet.
I ordered a size 36 men's jammer which was too small, so I returned it and was told on chat that if I ordered a larger size I would not be charged for the return fee. They also waived the shipping on my larger size. When they received my return they deducted the return label and free shipping on the new one from my refund, so instead of getting 49.00back I got only 38.00 on my card. Then to make matters worse they gave me a store credit instead of returning the reduced credit to my card. I had to protest all this with my card. They are a bad company ethically. Makes me wonder if I can ever use them again.
The Speedo trunks I bought in October and used 2x per week were always rinsed and line dried. I liked these trunks, but the fabric treatment making the fabric stretchy suddenly deteriorated. Now the trunks are just saggy.
Rash guard was too small, asked for and exchange. Should have just returned for refund, which would have been been free, but the exchange cost me another $10, and the shipping was slow the first time. Just placed the exchange order today so wondering when it will show up. Will all the shipping horror stories and the additional fees for the exchange, I will not be using them again.
I got 2 swim pants for my 2 boys. I measured their waist and hip sized, and called the customer service to make sure I am getting the right sizes. The person recommended sizes and I ordered them. I even paid extra $10 for 2 day shipping. What I got were WAYYYYY smaller for my boys. I called the customer service again to get refund on the items as well as the extra shipping I paid. The guy on the customer service insisted I need to pay for return shipping $4.95. Why do I pay for the return shipping when they made the mistake of recommending or sending the wrong items? RIDICULOUS!
After being on the phone for long 46 min, I finally got the his managers approval to not pay for the return shipping.
The customer service is terrible. Their recommendation or the size chart don't work. They make you waste your time and money. IT IS TERRIBLE!
I have been waiting on my return to be processed. No way to contact them...Stay away from the company

Answer: It sucks. They don't give you a full refund. They deducted $12.00 from my $60.00 shorts. And then they had the odacity to charge me for the return shipping fees! Never again.
