Had great communication with seller. Item was shipped in same day and arrived on time. All contents were there and device workes perfectly. Would buy again from same seller

I could shop with ease knowing the phones were quality and I would get reliable service. Phones came according to what companies offered. I suggested that Swappa make some things more intuitive, such as adding an address for paypal companies, even though I had already done so and there was no indication that I needed to do it, except that my item hadn't shipped. I made a recommendation, but otherwise it's been a good experience.

I purchased an Iphone 6 from Swappa at a great price. The seller promptly sent me a note saying would mail it to me ASAP and I received the device 2 days later. I activated the device and took it to the Apple store to get it checked for water damage and tested for any other internal damage and the phone passed with flying colors! Notified Swappa & Seller to complete transaction. I am a happy mom and my daughter is thrilled with her "new" phone! Thanks, Swappa!

Swappa is well organized and easy to use. I recently purchased a phone and finding the one I wanted was a quick and seamless process. The first phone I purchased was from a "trusted" seller. This transaction was a nightmare. I'm not sure why Swappa would allow this con-artist on their trusted sellers list. This trusted seller sent me a broken device (not the one i ordered, just a random phone) and refused to give a refund when I shipped it back. I had to escalate to pay-pal because when I contacted Swappa and they just said sorry to hear that. They don't back their customers even when the problem is with their trusted seller. Swappa claims to be better than eBay but are not. At least eBay tries to do something when you get scammed and usually helps get your money back. Swappa also makes it difficult to see negative reviews for their sellers. You can see how many bad reviews they have but you cannot read them. I was on my own with Swappa. The reason I gave three stars instead of 1 is because I purchased another phone from an actual person not a company. The actual person was nice, uploaded picture, and answered all my questions. Although Swappa did not help in this transaction either it was a more pleasant buy and i actually received the item I needed.
Overall the website has a nice layout and the actual human sellers seem to be decent. Just know if you do have a problem and you get scammed Swappa will not have your back or assist and anyway. The won't even make the seller remove the listing because the seller listing is still there to scam the next customer.(Myte-C LLC)
However, they will sent a nice apology email to make you feel better.

First time user of Swappa - purchased a new phone and VR headset. Great deal, open communication, smooth transaction, everything as described. With the deal moderation, it seems like a nice marketplace for buying/selling mobile phones. I'll be back!

I have been a member of Swappa for about 5 years now and it has always provided a consistently safe, convenient way for people to buy and sell their mobile electronics. It's been my personal experience that the level of professionalism shown by the staff is second to none and the people doing business here are trust-worthy. How many sites online can you say that about anymore? I hope this site remains as it is for a long time to come.
