I was looking to buy a phone, used different sites and apps before coming to Swappa. I already knew about Swappa so I waited. After I couldn't find a phone elsewhere I went to Swappa and purchased the phone first phone closest to what I want. The seller shipped fast and I got the phone in 3 days, activated the same day I got and I good to go. If needed I will definitely use Swappa again.
Swappa.com is great and I use it often, but be very aware of bulk sellers who do not use actual pictures of their items though, you may get a different device that was not as the one pictured, as I did. I will always buy from private sellers now as they must post pictures of the actual item.

I shopped swappa for several weeks looking for just the "right deal." Then this item came up and I was at the right place at the right time, bought it very quickly. The seller was prompt and courteous with my questions, and the device was sent perfectly packaged, meticulous! The device has worked very well (so far) and I am very happy with my decision. I had many choices but this choice appears to be right one.
I have used swappa a handful of times to buy cell phones. Most of those have been great experiences. Payment went well and item was shipped promptly and received as advertised. One experience though has made me cautious. I bought an iPhone 5s, paid and the item was never shipped. I asked for help but swappa simply referred me to PayPal who did not actually resolve the dispute. I ended up with no phone and no money. Just make sure you stay on top of the transaction if you do choose to use swappa.

I have purchased 2 iPhones off of Swappa in the last 6 months (destroyed the first one shortly after I got it, whoops!) and both experiences have been so easy, reasonably priced, and just all-around great! In contrast, after I killed my first phone, I tried to purchase a phone off of eBay and it was a nightmare of an experience. I have learned my lesson and will only be purchasing used phones off of Swappa in the future! :)
