New to Swappa. To my surprise the purchase went extremely well. Both seller and swappa staff were very informative and a pleasure to do business with
I haven't used swappa before, so I chose to interact with a company instead of an individual user. Had a great experience, phone came in condition promised, worked perfectly, saved me a few hundred bucks!
Swappa is an excellent way to purchase almost new phones or tablets. I have bought both with great results.
Product was delivered as described and was received in 2 days!
Was looking for a great site to buy a cell phone. Just used swappa to find phones for my entire family. Swappa staff are very professional and the site is well designed with ease of use in mind.
The way the transactions are designed and handling of issues works well. I can buy or sell with confidence.
Swappa was recommended by a Verizon employee when I didn't want to pay for a new phone. I like how organized and easy to use the site was. The phone arrived two days after ordering and was in perfect shape although the vendor listed it as good. I've told others about Swappa.
Swappa has all the tools to make an informed purchase and create a secure and transparent environment to conduct the transaction.
Saved like $270 on an almost new phone. Why buy new?
Product was good, description was good and price was very fair
I'm glad I found this site. Lots of phones to choose from and the people selling seem to be real pros. Great experience!
Everything went very well: from purchase to shipping and receiving, to activating the phone with US Cellular and using it. The phone was in very good condition... screen is like new, and works well.
Both of my transactions have been flawless. One was buying and one was selling. Everything worked perfectly and I am extremely happy. I am recommending Swappa to everyone
My son told us about Swappa just at the time my wife needed a phone upgrade. He mentioned all the safeguards in place to give the buyer confidence in the representation of the product. Found a phone the fit her needs, listed as in mint condition. Just received it, and it is indeed in mint condition. Purchased it on the 23rd and received it on the 26th. Can't beat that!
Swappa was easy to use and device centric experience, unlike other well known resale and auction websites. A great experience.
My new Samsung Note 4 was in perfect mint condition.
Swappa is a well organized site that is easy to search and find what you're looking for. It may look a little cluttered, but the all of the information presented is useful. Quick and easy - I highly recommend it.
Swappa has an easy to use, intuitive website. I was easily able to find the product I wanted, search through the listings, communicate with the seller and complete the transaction. I've used Swappa twice and will continue to use it.
I've been a swappa seller and buyer for a few years - as seller the fees are less than ebay - as buyer the protections are also less than ebay - however - if you are buying from a reputable seller, with a few years and deals on the site - you are relatively safe. If the deal is too good to be true - it probably is not true:-)
Having said that - Swappa is a welcome alternative to Ebay for devices. Also remember to check out https://swappa.com/boneyard where you find less than pristine or broken devices.
Item as described. New in package, perfect condition! Fast delivery!

Answer: Hi Peggy. If you receive a device that is not as advertised then you can return it for a refund. Our policy is that simple. Swappa staff works hard to prevent problems from happening, and PayPal has extensive buyer protections in case they do. Buy with confidence. Thanks for using Swappa.
Answer: Hi Alfred, Swappa requires all users to provide the ESN number for each device when creating a listing as a verification step. For more questions, please email our support team - [email protected] Thanks!
Answer: Very safe, I've bought and sold over 40 phones using Swappa and have only had one problem... When that happened both Swappa and PayPal had my back.
Answer: Yes, you should remove and keep your SIM card when you sell your used phone. SIM cards are tied to your account, so are not transferable. More information and why in our FAQ: https://swappa.com/faq/sell/sim_card_included
Answer: Because they are scammers and a holes. They can't be bothered with you. Awful site. Use eBay instead.
Answer: Swappa guarantees it which goes above and beyond paypal. They are running IMEI checks and they do a great job. It's on you when you receive your phone to go through the phone check list to make sure it's good, checking cameras, microphones wfi, bluetooth, water damage check, things like that. Its really worry free buying.
Answer: Contact Swappa support. If an item is not as described by seller, the buyer is entitle to a refund.
Answer: Most sellers don't ship to African countries. This is because they include a reasonable fee on their prices to cover for shipping in the US, I guess shipping to Africa would come at a higher cost and they seem to be avoiding that for whatever reason. However, you can research and register for a freight forwarding company and have your orders shipped to them. In turn, these companies will forward your order to you when they receive it. As I pointed out before, this is something you have to read about and carefully consider. Hope that helps.
The place to buy and sell newish tech. Safety, simplicity and staff-approved listing make Swappa the better way to buy and sell used phones, tablets, laptops, video games, home tech and more.
