... great experience, Swappa really took all the CL related complications out of the equation, no more back and forth phone calls or text messages, missed pickups or last minute cancelations. I bought with the confidence and security backed up by PayPal and I am a happy customer
I've used Swappa to purchase 2 devices so far, and both times I was struck by the easiness of the transaction. I didn't have to worry about whether the phone had been stolen, didn't have to organize a meeting with a stranger to compete the transaction, and I knew that if the phone arrived not as described, Swappa would help me sort it out. The website is easy to navigate on a computer or on a smartphone, and the price listed includes shipping and the $10 fee Swappa takes for every transaction, so there are no hidden fees. It's an excellent platform and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy a phone!
Just completed a decent transaction of a Galxy S6. Happy with what i got. Thanks team
Found exactly what I wanted and exactly what was described. I'm impressed and I think I'm a life long customer after one transaction!
No hassle. Swappa goes extra mile checking the authenticity of the ad
Swappa charges only $10 for a phone sale. While eBay is a ridiculous 10%. All phones sold are supposed to have no cracks in the screen, nor have water damage. I was able to purchase 5 phones on Swappa for my family and have had a better than expected experience. Say no to eBay and yes to Swappa. My Verizon technician was very impressed with the prices I paid for the phones.
Positive buying experience. Phone conditions are consistently described meticulously and conservatively. Signs of usage are always smaller/lighter then expected.
First time I have ever bought a phone from a secondary source. Initially the quality of phone delivered was wrong, but, after writing them, the company I ordered from immediately sent a second phone of the correct grade. I cut the cost of my phone almost in half, and it is in mint condition. I set it up at home myself, inserted my SIM card, and I had a new, working phone. I highly recommend them. I will NEVER pay full price for a phone again.
Swappa is a quality operation that makes buying used devises easy and with confidence.
I bought a used Note 5 and the whole transaction from start to end went perfect. I really like the way swappa protects people and checks the phone ESN's. Also how they look at photos and correct sellers when they dont match what their advertising. Thanks Swappa i'll be back..
3 reasons buying on Swappa is great:
1. All devices are usable: no cracked screens, no water damage
2. The condition words are really clear and consistent. Fair means there are probably scratches on the screen. Good means scratches on the case
3. No auction frenzy. If you like the price you buy it where as auctions seem to often have an irrational frenzy at the end that drives up the price. Good for sellers anyway!
Signed up and bought a phone is less than 10 minutes... Dare I say five? Maybe. Either way I bought my new phone and it arrived incredibly quick and in the condition stated. I am satisfied with my purchase and swappa made that happen. Will do buisness with them in the future.
I purchased a mint condition iPhone 6. Seller was very prompt to ship item and it was just as described. Flawless!
I was looking to get a used Apple Watch and was able to add notifications when new ones were listed. A few days later, one came up for a great price. I bought it, received it, no hassle at all. Swappa helped with easy guides and a great site. I'd use them again if I ever want to sell it down the road
I believe this is my third or fourth phone bought off Swappa and they have never given me problems!
I wanted to purchase a used iPad 3, I have never purchased a used device before. The site was very user-friendly, the process was easy, and I am happy with the product I received.
I much prefer connecting with an individual for something as risky as a used phone transaction. I have nothing but glowing results from my first transaction however, quick, easy and worth taking a moment to communicate with the seller. Will be using in future
Fast shipping, seller even paid for FedEx! Perfect device, not a scratch on it. Very impressed with seller and would gladly buy from again! Excellent experience using Swappa. I will use it again for buying used Android devices.

Answer: Very safe, I've bought and sold over 40 phones using Swappa and have only had one problem... When that happened both Swappa and PayPal had my back.
Answer: Yes, you should remove and keep your SIM card when you sell your used phone. SIM cards are tied to your account, so are not transferable. More information and why in our FAQ: https://swappa.com/faq/sell/sim_card_included
Answer: Because they are scammers and a holes. They can't be bothered with you. Awful site. Use eBay instead.
Answer: Swappa guarantees it which goes above and beyond paypal. They are running IMEI checks and they do a great job. It's on you when you receive your phone to go through the phone check list to make sure it's good, checking cameras, microphones wfi, bluetooth, water damage check, things like that. Its really worry free buying.
Answer: Contact Swappa support. If an item is not as described by seller, the buyer is entitle to a refund.
Answer: Most sellers don't ship to African countries. This is because they include a reasonable fee on their prices to cover for shipping in the US, I guess shipping to Africa would come at a higher cost and they seem to be avoiding that for whatever reason. However, you can research and register for a freight forwarding company and have your orders shipped to them. In turn, these companies will forward your order to you when they receive it. As I pointed out before, this is something you have to read about and carefully consider. Hope that helps.
The place to buy and sell newish tech. Safety, simplicity and staff-approved listing make Swappa the better way to buy and sell used phones, tablets, laptops, video games, home tech and more.
