I've had two satisfying transactions through Swappa and another not so much...
The bad experience involved a non-working device. The mostly hands-off approach from the Swappa staff was disappointing when I began to pursue a refund (that I'm still waiting for).
The good experiences left me feeling totally satisfied with the transaction. Fast shipping and products were as advertised.

I really like that sellers are required to post photos of the actual device being sold (turned on) and that there's an automated IMEI/ESN check to ensure that no reported/stolen devices get listed.

The website was user friendly and easy to understand. The reply was quick and my device was shipped quickly and actually arrived earlier than stated.
The device was in perfect shape upon arrival. I will definitely order from this site again.

The Swappa staff do a great job of monitoring the posts and making sure they are accurate. Then you don't get caught with a bunch of sleazy people trying to sell a device that isn't worth what they say it is.
The boneyard is for damaged devices though and is not monitored so don't expect the same quality there.
