Swappa customer service doesn't have exact way of validating the IMEI or making sure, Phone is fully paid with career. Lot of seller are posting the unpaid phone and selling to buyers. After 2 months career locks the IMEI! And Buyer complains to Swappa and Swappa says, we can't help!
Ebay would be better.

Received the iPhone 5s in time for my daughter to open on Christmas morning. I had already received the Otter Box and extra chargers ordered from Amazon and Verizon provided a free SIM card since we were using their prepaid service. I've used Swappa for quite some time now and with the exception of one time which was resolved by the staff its been a great experience. I find purchasing phones on Swappa to be a better experience than using sites like eBay for phones.

I would not hesitate to buy from Swappa.com again! My phone arrived in the mail with some drop damage. However, the seller was understanding, polite, prompt, and worked with me until we came to agreeable terms. Swappa.com was also there to provide support as needed. The seller presented many options to resolve the problem, and let me choose the option that I liked best. When my wife finally lets me upgrade her phone, I will do business with Swappa.com again! They saved me over $100 for a like new iPhone, compared to buying it from the Apple store.

My kids both wanted I phones for Christmas. There's simply no way I'm paying retail for a phone for a kid that is probably going to get dropped and broken. A mint phone here with insurance is a great alternative and keeps me from having to lock into more years of cellphone contracts. An unlocked used phone and no contract like tmobile is the way to go!

Had a great experience with Swappa the first time. After researching and discovering that the Moto X was a good compromise of a mid-range quality phone for a great price, Swappa had a number of options for sale. I bought basically the same phone again, twice the storage for $10 more this time, and had another good experience. I trust the purchase I make from Swappa and that's the biggest compliment I can give. Just don't think I could buy confidently off another person-to-person site.

I have steered clear of ebay since I found Swappa because the sellers know exactly what they are selling, if you ask a question they answer you quickly! Found the Verizon LGG3 advertised as new in the box. How often that happens is rare. I made the seller an offer, he accepted within minutes, changed the price and I jumped on the deal. Excellent brand new phone, still on the 10B bootstack. Bought it on Friday, received it today (Tuesday). Must say, this is typical of my experiences with Swappa.
