Swappa is ran by a crew of morons who literally know nothing about cell phones. Stay far away from these guys and stick to eBay for all your buying and sellling. EBay is reputable and has fail safes to protect you as a buyer or seller. Swappa absolutely doesnt and is easily the worst company Ive ever dealt with.

Buying a gently used phone and selling my phone were both super easy and straight forward with Swappa. I've used it several times and have never had any issues. Excellent customer service, they know what they're doing, and the site is very easy to use. This is the only place I use for buying/selling my devices. Fees are fair and appropriate and you can tell why they get repeat customers and happy buyers/sellers!

Buying process was awesome and my phone came as described and promptly. The Android app could use some work; it often shows the last listing you viewed instead of the selected I've when opening a notification.

Was so glad I finally clicked on the Swappa website. Now I have my dream phone and it didn't break the bank.

I had no idea this site existed until a friend told me about it and it's been a great experience for me. Although I only made one purchase, the phone I choose came quickly, as expected, and with some extra cases! On top of that, I got it at almost half the market value.

Would definitely recommend swappa to friends who are in need of a new phone.

I like to buy from Swappa because I like that they help the sale by verifying device info such as esn/IMEI for phones. Each transaction I have done whether it be a purchase or a sale has been easy and painless. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a second hand phone or tablet. There is much less risk than sites like eBay.

Swappa is amazing. My mom was looking for an affordable iphone as her first phone and we found it here on swappa. She is very pleased with it and it came exactly as described.

I had a sale that was trending south, though luckily the item arrived in the end but it looked as if I had paid for something that would not ship. Swappa told me to file a dispute with PayPal and all they can do is refund the $10 fee they charge.

So apparently Swappa offers no buyer protection. PayPal disputes are awful to go through and from my experience generally dont go the way you hope. I will never use Swappa again.

The first phone I purchased turned out to be financed after weeks of getting strung along. The the second one advertised it was a T-Mobil connected and turned out not to be.
I will try Glyde and see how they fair.

Swappa basically is just a front for exchanging phones. They have no authority to issue refunds or intervene for fraud. They defer to PayPal for all disputes that cant be resolved person to person.

Swappa is absolutely the best place to buy a used phone. Their strict criteria for sellers gives one a lot of confidence that their purchase will be problem free. I highly recommend them
