I purchased a nearly new LG G4 on Swappa for almost 1/3 less than any comparable phones on eBay. The seller was easy to communicate with and provided shipping information promptly. I love Swappa's high standards for phones and the required photographs of the actual phone for sale. One of the things I HATE on eBay is that many sellers choose to use a stock photo and never provide an ACTUAL photo of the ACTUAL item. I didn't have that problem on Swappa, and for that reason I will use them again!

I've been a buyer/seller on Swappa for a long time. I've never had an issue. I don't have any neighbors close to me. It's usually the sellers job to contact USPS to put in a claim. I've roped in Swappa since contacting local law enforcement isn't something I'm going to waste my time or theirs for $150.00. Swappa support was zero help and although the device was marked "delivered" it was clearly not at my address. Seller sent uninsured and no signature means it could've gone anywhere. I won't be utilizing their services any longer. (Seller: The Cellular Resource)

Bought a Note II on Swappa. Been buying from them for a few years now and it's always a no brainer. Good prices no hidden fees.

Had a really great experience at Swappa even though there were some complications on my purchases (some mine and no fault of Swappa and the sellers).

In my experience with Swappa, I had purchase a phone prior to the one that actually made it to me. I had some issues with my payment but the seller was willing to work with me on that and I got it resolved and purchased. Unfortunately there was an issue with phone and that sale had to be canceled and refunded. Overall the seller was great and the service worked as intended.

The second time I purchased there were some communication issues with the seller (he thought he had submitted the info but apparently it didn't go through) but I was easily able to reach out to him and he answered right away and had the info I needed. The communication from both sellers were amazing.

The primary reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the use of PayPal. While I understand its use, my bank doesn't like it and each transaction I need to to whitelist my card for purchase. This is not convenient as I had to do it twice because the bank only unlocks it for 24 hour periods.

The only other feedback I had for Swappa was that it was difficult to find where to rate the sellers. There is a lot of information on the product details page and it was easily missed.

Recent seller was very great with accurately listing the phone and with communication. The phone was also shipped out within a few hours. Would definitely buy from him again! I wish more sellers were as honest about their listings.

I'm currently awaiting a refund from a different seller who was very shady in his listing and sent a severely damaged phone as "Good" condition. He specifically left out pictures of the damaged areas. The seller for this sale should not have a "Trusted" pin on his account. Now I have to wait for a refund due to his shady behavior and dishonesty. If a seller is at fault, refunds should be given immediately and the seller should be put at an inconvenience and have to wait for the phones. I am definitely leaving a negative review on his account.

I needed a used cell phone but the thought of going to Craigslist or Ebay terrified me. I found out about Swappa from an online magazine that said it was one of the safest ways to purchase used electronics. For me, it was hassle-free! Lots of great selections that had all met a number of Swappa standards that made me more confident. I was also glad that shipping costs were included in the price as well as Swappa's fee: the price you see is the price you pay. I bought my phone on Friday evening from a buyer in San Francisco. It shipped to me in Kentucky and I received it Monday just as promised! It was great having Swappa's checklist to make sure everything was working properly. I will use Swappa again in the future!

Found a great phone for a great price. Very easy to use and A+ experience!
Will use again in the future if I need another phone!
