Received a necklace as a gift, called to inquire about an exchange so that the person who gave me the gift wouldn't know that I exchanged it for an even exchange. They assured me that it would be delivered to my home and instructed me how to do the return. I was never notified when they received my item, was never notified that it was being processed & was never notified it was shipped. Worst part they shipped it to the person who gave me it! VERY UPSET WITH THIS AWFUL COMPANY! DO NOT RECOMMEND> prices are high and products are not worth the prices too!
Ugh this has been a lengthy and expensive purchase. I ordered two rings so I could decide which one fit but neither did and I didn't like the quality for the price. I returned them and after 3 weeks of no refund I started calling them. The customer service representatives literally seem bored and say the same things in a robotic voice. One representative mumbled and when I asked him to repeat he yelled the word. Another time the representative yawned and said. Sorry-refund is refunded in the order received? Huh? It's now been 5 weeks and got my refund minus 40.00. Why? Now another call to be told it's a handling charge plus shipping. Won't ever order again from this company.
Do NOT order from the Sundance Catalogue. Shipping begins at $13.95 and takes twice as long as their delivery date. I ordered a birthday present and the birthday came and went - no present.
Sure wish I had read a few of these reviews BEFORE I ordered from them. I guess I assumed the outrageous prices on everything would indicate the quality of both the product and the company overall. Ordered a dress that took a week to receive, returned it the next day March 16, and as of today April 16 I have not received my refund. This is terrible service. Their replies are always "you should be getting it soon" or we are processing returns from whatever week they say. I have emailed them 3 times and have had no satisfaction. AND they charge you to return it. Low class if you ask me. I purchased some things from ASOS after Sundance, returned a few items and received a full refund already. Free shipping and free returns at ASOS. This is a sham and I agree with others who say don't order if you are under 5'8". In fact don't order from here at all.
I purchased 3 very expensive necklaces. I returned them the EXACT same day. The reasin I chose was "over-priced." The materials used, i. E., silver, was soo very cheap. ANYWAY, Sundance has had my return in their possession since March 22nd. I know this from the FIRST time I called on April 3rd. "Your return should be coming next week." Next week? I called again on April 8th. "Oh. The return PERSON is out due to her husband's surgery." WHAAAT? Called AGAIN yesterday. Today is April 16th. I still have NOT RECEIVED A CREDIT. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM SUNDANCE AGAIN.
My first order from the catalog. I purchased a blouse. One sleeve had elastic in it the other sleeve did not. Looking at all of the drama of returning, I'm just going to take it to a seamstress to fix. Won't be ordering again from them.

I am getting a huge hassle from a simple order of a dress and top, returned for other sizes... 3 weeks later... no merchandise, no refunds, HORRIBLE RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE... and still nothing to show for it! Why is shipping so much? I came on to order a pair of pants that are very lightweight, I'd imagine they will ship in a small bag of sorts. I cancelled the order when I saw shipping cost. I'll find something similar at Target or something... No way shipping is that much. $7,8 maybe.
Bought shirt and Jean's in Tucson. Returned jeans but exchanged top online. Are you fricking kidding me. Put paperwork in with return and talked with customer rep. Now they want copy of original purchase, I throw stuff away like it's used tissue. Never, ever shopping there again. They need to take a 101 class from Nordstrom

I have been receiving the Sundance catalog for years. It doesn't say much for me that I just now realized that in its entirety there is not a single black or brown model. I will not be buying again from Sundance until this is rectified. Wake up marketing department; you are way, way behind your competitors in this area. There is only one way to interpret this.
I ordered a pair of boots USA Size 9. I received a box where the original size on the outside of the box had been taped over and a "size 9" was handwritten in. On one shoe, the true size had been scratched out and on the other shoe an attempt to wipe out the true size was not completely successful. The size was 8.5. Sent shoes back and still waiting for refund. Never again will I do business with this company.
I purchased a wool sweater online. The size was not true to size. I wear a 4 or 6 and ordered a small. The small was too large. Also, had I seen the sweater in a store, I would not have purchased it due to its quality. I was aware of the shipping cost, $17.95, which seemed high but the sweater looked beautiful online and it was on sale. This made the cost comparable to other sweaters I have purchased. I was also aware of the return shipping cost of $7.95 but believed I would not be returning the item. I just discovered that Sundance also does not return taxes paid on an item. Is that legal? I advise caution when purchasing an online item from Sundance. This will be my last purchase from Sundance.
Where did all the nice employees go from Sundance? Oh that's right they all left. Can the Senior leadership team maybe review Management styles in that store so the stressful atmosphere is not passed on to shoppers? Love merchandise. Hate the vibe there.
All I wanted to do was return a $500+ Pair of boots for my right size.
I received them as a gift for Christmas.
I paid to return them with tracking and insurance as they requested.
I sent all the info and my own email.
I hear nothing.
I read that it could take 6 WEEKS to resolve.
When I returned them I checked to make sure they could give me my size. They had them.
At 6 weeks I contact them.
REMEMBER clothing is seasonal and you may get your winter sweater returned in Spring.
They act like they've never heard of me or my return.
(You'd better keep all of your records because they will ask for every last detail. Like not only the order number but the actual name of the product. I'm like, they are boots! But they want the specific name!)
So finally I find out after talking to them that the money was credited to the giver of the gift and an email sent to them not me.
So I'm out shipping cost and I didn't get my Christmas gift either! I received no email or info on my gift.
Am I supposed to ask the giver of the gift for my refund?

My first order from Sundance, a blazer, looked good on the site. They sent me a note to say it was back ordered. It was then delayed a total of 3 weeks. When I got it the quality was so poor I sent it straight back. 3 weeks later I spoke to them to see where the refund was, takes 30 days just to process the return I'm told. Should have read the small print. Also out $8 as you get to pay the return fee. Still waiting for my refund.
Needless to say I wont be placing a second order
Better customer service could have prevented this, just turn the return around quickly like other catalogue sites and the delays and quality issues are forgotten.
I wish I knew! I did t read reviews because I assumed them to be a reputable company. I ordered two pairs of earrings. One came relatively quickly, but I found them to be overpriced for what they were. The second pair is nowhere in sight! I ordered them on December 2nd!. They were what I was looking for, so I kept the first ones. My husband then ordered several items for me for Christmas. He never thought he'd get them in time, but he did. Ilo Ed one of the necklace charms, but it's stationary on the chain and keeps flipping over. The earrings I'm waiting for match that necklace. After ordering them, I received an email stating they were backordered, and I'd receive them around December 26. No problem. The status was then that they'd be IN their warehouse on January 18. I've still not received them, so I contacted them once again and was told that they're still waiting for them. If these items aren't readily available, that should be stated when an order is placed. They blame the artists. I blame the company! It's the worst! I will NEVER order from them again once I finally get the item! Maybe I'll just cancel the order! STAY AWAY!
I have had nothing but problems with this company. They continue to make mistakes, and I end up having to pay for them. I ordered items and they arrived broken, they claimed I needed to reorder them ( which means I needed to be recharged for them) They sent them to me twice, their mistake. They would not refund my money until I sent them back, so here I am a month later still waiting on my refund and I just received an email that they are charging me $7.95 for the refund. I have never experienced such awful customer service. Keep in mind I called customer service multiple times to clear this up. I really don't think anyone there knows what they are doing. Please be cautious ordering from this site. I am giving them 0 stars exactly equal to their customer service 0000! I had to click one star just to submit.
Absolutely zero customer service, they give you canned answers, no personal service at all. I'm having to return a set of 3 hurricanes that I purchased them, that are clearly SUB PAR and not at all like pictured and it's costing ME $30 to return them. From now on, I'm sticking with Wayfair, they are a class act!
Bought a pair of boots online, the price I was quoted included no shipping or handling or fees. After the purchase, I received a confirmation invoice with the same total. However, three days later, my credit card bill shows a much higher number. I contact Sundance who tells me that there is shipping and "I don't know why your invoice would reflect no shipping", Like I was lying. I forwarded this invoice but 30 times and went nowhere. I kept getting generic responses from Donna Smith (who called me by the wrong name.) and Everson, both basically saying I was wrong even though I provided the invoice. Made absolutely no sense. At this point I asked for either a refund of the shipping or a refund of the entire order. Finally, I spoke with Jessy via online chat, And after sending him that same invoice, he acknowledged and apologizied. I really don't understand what the hell took so long to acknowledge this. I'm told my money will be refunded for the shipping, if it's not I will be back on this site. If somebody from Sundance is reading this, go ahead and find some confident people please. Or don't
Answer: No. Sold it to a lawless private equity firm. Took the money and ran laughing all the way to the bank. Screw the customer until there are none, then just rebrand and keep screwing the customer. But when it comes down to it, its up to consumers to do their homework on all e-commerce as there are few laws, protections, and really no regulatory oversight/enforcement for this kind of criminal fraud which is rampant in the US now. Other countries have enviable common sense laws governing e-commerce on their books because their citizens wont tolerate the sort of abuses and fraud perpetrated by companies like Sundance, et al.
