After reading the reviews on SiteJabber, I was a bit hesitant to order but went ahead anyway. I got an email that my dress would be delayed, and when I replied 'when is it coming', I didn't get an answer until a few days later when I received another email saying the package was on its way.
The dress (Elenyun's Denim Swing Midi Dress) arrived and it's pretty good, I'd say Zara quality. The seams are clean and the fabric was a good weight. It was a little bigger than I thought but I was a bit paranoid about the sizing differences between Asia and America, and opted to have it a bit bigger than a whole lot smaller (I'm 5'3 and 132 lbs, ordered the XL). The dress came in its own zippered bag and the receipt was in a little black folder, which is an unexpected luxe touch. I'll definitely buy from StyleWe again.
Being Asian, I can categorically say that shopping is a different ball game in Asia which may explain somewhat the other reviews. Here are some of the things to expect:
1. Returns and exchanges are normally not offered, unlike the US, so it takes some getting used to for Asian retailers to understand and live up to American shoppers' expectations about merchandise being exchanged or returned. I know that when I first came to America I marveled at the fact that you could wear something, return it to the retailer -- even after 6 months! -- and get a refund.
2. Replying to customer emails is a complex affair as company hierarchy will often influence how a member of staff should answer questions. Often the supervisor or even the company head has to give the green light on a simple reply. Seniority rules; it's very much top-down. Whereas here in the US, any customer-facing staff will have autonomy in handling enquiries.
3. You also have to factor in English comprehension and mastery; usually there is one person in the company who has okay English and everyone tries to get this person to edit a reply so they don't come across as incoherent. This process can take days unfortunately.
Just thought that outlining the differences in culture may help. To StyleWe's credit, they *are* trying :)

I was worried and angry when I received my packages and was missing a dress that I had ordered but when I called they were calm and patient in explaining that they had to ship it separately in order to ensure that the dress was in perfect condition when it arrived and it would arrive the next day. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the colors and patterns used in the dresses by this designer BUT I purchased one and found that the "silk" was stiff as cardboard. Didn't get any less stiff either. Has anybody else had a different experience? I wanted silk that had some slink and sway rather than standing out from my body like a box.

The dress I order was to small, I wear small or extra small but clearly sizes run different at this particular company. I request an exchange over three weeks ago. I have made the request four times! I keep receiving an email telling me that in 24 hours I will receive an authorization and return address. Still waiting!
Tell everyone you know NOT to order from them! I have sent multiple requests to return 3 dresses. They have still not sent me the return protocol and from other reviews I see they then steal the return item so they then have the items back AND your money! TERRIBLE!
