While some users have had positive interactions, particularly regarding refunds for canceled events, these experiences are overshadowed by the recurring themes of service delays and a lack of accountability. Never manage to go through with accept tickets... errors and errors. How come you say i accept the tickets. You mean i clicked on the link so because of that the problem is mine. NO TICKETS NO MONEY MY PROBLEM AND STUBHUB DOES NOT CARE.
Already escalating this situation to the stubhub managment direcyly and on social media. In my small country we do not treat customers like this. "Stubhub has the money and i have a problem" to make a long story short.
On sunday 6th stubhub said on thr phone that it was going to refund(see the records) and no is saying no... no words. Order *******
I went online and did a search for tickets for the Eagles concert in Denver and the Stubhub listed the concert dates for October 6 and October 7 a Friday and a Saturday. I clicked on the link to purchase tickets for Friday the sixth, completed the purchase and ended up with tickets for Thursday the fifth, which wasn't even a date listed on the Google listing. I contacted Stubhub several times and they told me that the seller of the tickets they would check with them to see if he had tickets to replace them for Friday night, two weeks later, I still did not have an answer called them again. They promised me that they would cover them under the Stubhub ticket guarantee, which in my opinion is nonexistent because they ended up Telling me the owner of the tickets did not have comparable tickets available for Friday night and that my only option was to resell my tickets, pay another $130 fee for each one which I would have to eat because I couldn't sell the tickets for what I had in them and then I would have to buy tickets for Friday night and pay another $130 per ticket fee so it would end up costing me an additional $520 just to sell my tickets and buy new ones for Friday night. They are nothing but liars and thieves and the only options you have is using their website to resell your tickets And it's a scam. All they do is make money off of multiple convenience fees and will not offer to help out anyone who has an issue with their tickets so stay the hell away from this website all it will do is suck money out of your wallet.
I bought Adele tickets that I never received and stubhub NEVER refunded me. They are terrible all the way around. I called over 20 times and they kept brushing me off, I had to dispute it on my charge card. I will NEVER use this company again, horrible at what they do.
Selling tickets is a joke - I got an email stating my tickets sold...the process to even try to transfer them was an absolute $#*! show. I am working out of town trying to deal with the sale and there was virtually no help - when I checked that I had transferred them...it indicated a mobile transfer - but the buyer said they didnt get them. I kept getting emails indicating the buyer didnt get them...I finally called and spoke to customer service with an attachment of the picture of the transferred screen with indicated they were transferred...that phone call lasted almost 30minutes and was told they will escalate the issue. Meanwhile I get another email saying my sale was cancelled. Not only was this process a waste of time with no help - the buyer couldnt or didnt get what he needed because I had NO HELP. Something that seems so simple should not be this hard in anyway...especially with over 300$ in the game. I will not use stubhub again and I will not recommend it to a friend or family member. Where are my tickets that I paid for now? I dont see them in stubhub? My original ticket purchase is ******* the sale is *******
DONT EVER buy tickets from here. Bought tickets and then day of they said that they couldn't get ticklers to me in time to go to concert. WORST place i've ever had to talk to and tried to fix problem. Don't ever even look for tickets here. Horrible customer service horrible experience worst place ever. Doesn't even deserve a star.
Two days before our concert we had not received our tickets. We began calling customer service. NO ONE knew how to assist us, just sending us through the same online exercise over and over. Then one employee told us he would send a notification so the next day we would just click on a link for our tickets. Previously we had rented a place in the town of the concert & drove 6hrs to get there. All the while checking for tickets. The night of the concert on the phone with customer service, on hold seven times, requesting a supervisor we got no where. Then we said we would only speak to a manager. She was condescending but explained how to navigate & retrieve our tickets 20 minutes before the concert. We said we wouldn't make the concert in time so asked for a refund. She told us we would need to provide screen shots proving our delay retrieving online tickets. Since we had so much money involved we rushed to the venue & arrived to the concert LATE. We saw part of a concert we paid full price for.
WARNING! Bait and switch and horrible customer service!
Please be very careful if you use this company. We had a very bad experience recently trying to use a parking spot we reserved for a concert. We reserved a spot in a particular parking lot that was.3 miles away from the venue we were going to for the concert. We reserved a spot to be sure we were able to get a close to the venue, since one member of our group is mobility challenged (can walk short distances slowly with a cane). We specifically booked that lot because it was close as identified by the cross streets for the lot that we selected (we knew exactly where the lot was). This lot was confirmed when we booked. We were given a receipt but a ticket would not be issued for another day or so.
Once we received the email ticket a few days before the event, we took a quick read and verified a ticket was indeed there, assuming it was for what we purchased. We printed the ticket shortly before leaving the house for the concert.
Upon arrival at the lot we had reserved our spot, they said the ticket was for another lot, which was over a 1 mile away! Obviously, we had no choice but to find that lot since all lots were filling fast and we didn't want to miss the event. We found the new lot and that lot was closed and full! We spoke to the attendant and told him we had a paid ticket. Thankfully, he felt bad and "created" a space for us in a corner (it wasn't really a space). Travel to and from the venue was horrible for our friend which set a bad tone for the evening. Keep in mind, we were not late arriving to these lots, we were well within the arrival window.
When we called Stubhub the next day to explain the situation and ask for a refund, we expected an easy conversation and refund since we did not get a ticket for the lot we reserved and purchased. Instead, we spend over 30 minutes on the phone arguing with the person and they finally agreed to a maximum 25% refund (which basically covers the service fee). This is completely unacceptable. The fact that the company committed to a parking lot then supplied a ticket for a lot much further away is unacceptable and perhaps even illegal. We clearly did not get what we paid for. We won't be using this company again as I do not agree with their potentially unlawful practices and horrible customer service, I suggest you think twice as well!
Dont buy from Stubhub, they don't have a return policy. They will get the high fees they charge and that's why you can't get a refund, they will put your tickets up for sale.
Buy directly grom the venue instead and save yourself $60.00.
I spent over 1,000 for beyonce tickets for the 7.30.23 weeks before the show. On 7.30.23 I found out that the seller did not have my tickets. Therefore I was on the phone with Stubhub all day that day to resolve the matter. Luckily they were able to resolve my situation. But I will never purchase from stubhub again! Its a scam!
July 28 2023 bought vip table me n friend. Im disabled so I figured mudvayne show stay out of mosh pit and bought tickets cause my birthday the 27th of july long story short when I went to event they wouldn't let us in they said you bought v.i.p entrance not entrance to event spent 100 dollars on vip now they want another 120 to get in main event stub hub should say vip ticket only had horrible birthday $#*!show iwas so mad stub hub needs to make you aware 0 rating in my opinion watch out guys
When I bought 3 tickets to a musical, I didn't realize I was charged $145.80 as a service fee and $5.95 for shipping when nothing was shipped. I called to complain and they said they realize they are "expensive" but couldn't refund. I also tried to contest this overage on my charge card and was told the same thing! I've never paid more than $15 each for the same service and also, because nothing was shipped, they owe me $106! I will never order from them again.
Listed as a "general admission" Fast Lane ticket, but after paying $50.76, was informed that "general admission" did not mead admission into the venue, only to the Fast Lane entrance line. Never again will I use them...and not even willing to buy tickets that are still available for the show.
I've heard this from a lot of people, but I just want to reiterate: do not use stubhub to get tickets. I was planning on going to osheaga with someone, I bought the tickets off of the site, and she bought them off of stubhub. A WEEK before the concert, stubhub informed her that they could not actually honor the tickets. By that time the show was sold out, and we had already made hotel reservations where the festival was located. Literally can't believe that's a policy stubhub has. We called to try and fix the issue, but they refused to do anything except refund the tickets, which was practically useless. Would give less than one star if I could.
Had four tickets for sale. One sold with no problem. Sold two and was immediately prompted to transfer, which I did. 1 week later buyer hadn't accepted them. We then received an email saying due to buyer issues, we cancelled the sale. We immediately cancelled our two tickets, thinking our account had been compromised. It turns out they sold one ticket and didn't notify us, but that was the ticket they cancelled. We relisted the two tickets, however they never showed up on Stubhub for sale. When I called they said your listing is on there, and after that it appeared. Today I received an email saying I'm being charged $486 for the non sale of the two tickets. Deceitful manipulation of their sales. SELLER BEWARE
Arrived 2 hours early. Could not find parking spot. Called Stubhub customer service. They could not locate parking spot nor seller. Nobody around the stadium knew where (said) parking was located. They would not refund. Had to dispute parking fee on CC
We bought tickets to an event at 7:30pm, which my sales receipt clearly shows. Upon arrival we found the tickets sent were actually for the matinee that had occurred earlier that day. We attempted to call StubHub but the wait time was over an hour to speak with someone. Security at the event advised us that this was common with StubHub, it that we would have to leave as the entire event was sold out. Upon contacting StubHub they admitted to the error but refused to refund any but 25% of what we paid, leaving us out $300. Actually appalling that a company would operate with this little integrity. Do not purchase tickets from them. I have attached the photos that show the discrepancy as well as the very laughable guarantee they post on their website and clearly do not honor.
I purchased three tickets to Taylor Swift's Era concert in Seattle WA and the seller never sent me the tickets! I emailed and called with StubHub numerous times and was told that they would send me the link to choose new seats and they never sent it to me. Called them again and it was too late all they could do was issue me a refund oh yeah and a 200.00 credit for next time. Sorry StubHub there will Never be a next time. How do you think it made my 16 year old daughter who is a HUGE Swifty fan feel when I told her we couldn't go anymore. Thanks for a ruined Christmas present and horrible experience! I would give them zero stars if that was an option and reporting this to BBB
They cancelled my order and I was charged for no reason and never got my money so people got a free show! Don't sell your tickets on stub hub! Sat on the phone forever fighting with supervisor about my money and kept refusing to pay me. This site needs to be shut down!
We purchased concert tickets valued at 1000 dollars over a month ago. Day of concert still no tickets. Requested our refund a few hours prior to beginning of concert which was loccated in another city. As of today we have not received our 1000 dollar refund. Ever single time we speak to a customer service rep. We are given a different excuse as to why we haven't received our refund. At this point The Better Business Bureau and State Attorney generals is going to be contacted and a claim will be filed. Buyer beware they are not guaranteed as advertised. As far as I am concerned they are thieves that I am sure doing this to multiple people and gaining interest as the money sits in their account.
Stub hub is a joke... They don't sell tickets from the venue... They sell already purchased tickets that the owner no longer wants...
So you browse tickets on stubhub, pay stubhub, receive nothing but a receipt from stubhub.
The owner of the tickets you just bought from stubhub has to then deliver your purchased tickets...
Basically, you are never going to the event you just paid for because the tickets don't exist.
No venue recognizes stubhub receipts or order confirmation numbers since technically stubhub sold you nothing, they just mediated the transaction between you and already owned tickets...
Again, it is completely up to the ticket holder to deliver the tickets you paid for from stubhub...
Most never receive their tickets. Stubhub stays in business just from the sheer volume of people not willing to fight for their money back.
NEVER use stubhub, purchase tickets from the venue itself!
Answer: That's my assumption. Some other people on this site might be able to answer that from actual experience.
Answer: They sell tickets they do not actually have yet. They started selling tickets for a Garth Brooks concert in Salt Lake City before tickets even went on sale. They have no way of knowing if they will actually get tickets to fulfill orders, and just cancel the order the day before the event if they don't have the tickets. Its pretty much a gamble with Stub Hub if you will get your tickets or not.
Answer: Stub hub only does resales so they can rip off the seller as well as the buyer
Answer: Hello Gisela! We aren't able to have you sell will call as an ID will need to be presented for pick up. Hope this helps!
Answer: Hi Rachael, If you purchase a ticket labeled as Instant Download you will receive your ticket as soon as you order. If you purchase a mobile ticket or electronic download then you will be notified when your ticket is ready. Which would be no later than the date advised when you purchase. It is very rare to not have your ticket prior to the day of event. There are only a select few shows that require ticket delivery day of event. I hope this helps and we are here to assist if you have any additional questions!
