I purchased 2 tickets to the 49ers vs. Chiefs game on August 14th 2021 and the digital tickets through the StubHub app never scanned in. Not only my tickets, but about 400+ people were in line at Levi's Stadium with the same issue. The kind people working the gate at Levi's Stadium told everyone with StubHub digital tickets that they weren't working for unknown reasons. With everyone trying to get a hold of customer service the game was going into the 2nd quarter so I left and watched the game at a restaurant instead. This was my first football game and I will forever recommend people NOT TO USE THE STUBHUB TICKETS. The game was on August 14th and it took me about an hour and a half to speak with a representative and get this refunding process started. The rep told me that it may take more than a month to get the refund. It's September 2nd and I haven't heard a word back. Buy your tickets from the box office to avoid this issue. I would never trust StubHub again.

THE WORST!

DO NOT PURCHASE OR SELL TICKETS ON STUBHUB! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT IS THE WORST. YOU WILL NEVER GET THROUGH AND WILL BE ON HOLD FOR HOURS FOR THEM TO PROMISE YOU IT WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF AND NEVER WILL BE. I Purchased four tickets to a show and it was rescheduled 3 times because of COVID. It was finally rescheduled again for 8/7/21 and we could not make the show, so I sold the tickets because Stubhub offered me a waved processing fee due to all of the rescheduling of this event. Because I sold the FOUR tickets separately, they never refunded me the $105.00 for the second set of tickets that I sold ( I sold 2 tickets first, then sold the other 2 at a different time) I have called them at least 15 times and waited at least 3 hours each time (NO EXAGGERATION) for the past three weeks wasting HOURS of my precious LIFE. They told me time after time that they will refund me the $105.00 on my paypal and that they will prioritize this (just to shut me up) but still have not been refunded. Every time I call, it's a whole new explanation and nothing is ever settled and refunded. I am on hold once again as I am writing this. It is absolutely the worlds worst experience! DO NOT EVER deal with this horrible rip off business. They do not help. They just take your money and good luck if you have any issues... You will NOT get any help!

I ordered two tickets from Stubhub for GreenDay for today August 27th at 5:30pm(Oracle Park in San Francisco). I still have not received anything from Stubhub I waited on hold for customer service for 6 hours and I talked TO TWO AGENTS, the first one (who has a Jamaican accent and was extremely aggressive), told me they contacted the seller and I would have my tickets in 25 minutes and he would call me. NOTHING, I HEAR NOTHING FROM THIS AGENT, I do not receive any email.

The second customer service agent, I spoke to (after I waited another 3 hours on the phone), assured me that they would give me replacement tickets by today at 8am. She would also call me. She never did. I never heard anything about replacement tickets.

STUBHUB is a joke and I spent $560 buying these two tickets. I need my money back now!

It is one thing to have technical difficulties its another thing to have FAILING CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS WHO LIE.

I am on hold again as I write this, you guys are truly horrible. I really hate you guys from the bottom of my heart. I was really looking forward to GREEN DAY and now my plans are ruined because of you. I will do whatever it is in my power to write horrible reviews about you guys throughout the internet.

Seller hasn't emailed tickets. Show starts tomorrow. Wait 3 hours on hold for customer service. Stubhub contacts seller. Gives them wrong email. Waiting for tickets. Call StubHub back. Stubhub contacts seller again. Stubhub still has my info wrong on the phone. My app has all correct info. What the hell is going on? Stubhub guy sounded like he was from another planet.

Worse company Ever
August 20, 2021

Had tickets for raiders vs Seahawks game Saturday after hours of waiting we got in 3rd quarter hundreds of people who got tickets at StubHub couldn't access them I paid for a whole game it was StubHub issues hundreds were waiting when I finally got ahold of them Tuesday they offer a 20%coupon on next purchase! HELP

Yes, StubHub often has tickets at a small savings as compared to Ticketmaster, but if your event is postponed, tough luck. While Ticketmaster offers the opportunity to exchange tickets, StubHub does not. Further, you can NOT contact StubHub. Period. Their phone system routes you to a minimum 3-hour wait queue, and guess what - nobody's going to pick up.

Spend the extra $10 at Ticketmaster, save yourself the pain.

Beware of this site

Beware of this site they operate like thieves hiding behind technicalities and only need a faint pulse to qualify for a job there. Have mostly sold on and off for years but this last scummy experience will be my last. Too long a story but just trust me not a crackpot reviewer, truly scummy and take your business elsewhere.

StubHub took it cue from Apple in an effort to minimize their customer service costs by directing as many as possible to their so called "community" - aka a group of people who may or may not have valid and useful information. They also direct as many customers as possible to their phone app, but they only support the latest version, so you may or may not be able to upload your tickets if you decide to install their app AFTER you buy the tickets. A TWO HOUR WAIT TIME is not unusual if you manage to dig deep enough into their website to locate their phone number. In general, dealing with StubHub relies on a lot of luck - you may as well forget the event and buy lottery tickets with the $.

Cheats and liars :(

These people are flat-out liars.

I paid them €1,175 for a ticket to the final of the Euro 2020 football championships, I then flew to London and the final was to be the highlight of the trip. Weeks later and 3 days before the game, Stubhub emailed me to say the ticket holder had transferred it to my name. I checked my email - and the spam and junk folders. Nothing there. I continued checking non-stop for the next 3 days. I am 100% certain the ticket was never transferred. The trip cost me a fortune. Not getting my ticket for this major event was devastating.
I also know with 100% certainty that Stubhub was not interested in hearing from me. How? Because they made it impossible to contact them! Every email they sent me was from a "do not reply" email address and when I emailed it it came back "could not be delivered". They pretend on their website that they have a 100% customer guarantee in the event of non-delivery of tickets - garbage! They also claim to have a customer service team ready to assist you if you have problems - I phoned their local 0800 number countless times and the phone just rang non-stop every time. There is no way on God's earth they do no know about this. It is just a front to give the impression they are there to help you.
Stubhub also let me down in 2019 when I travelled halfway across the world to watch the Champions League final in Madrid, phoning me 3 days before my flight to say they couldn't deliver my ticket after all. I gave them a 2nd chance because they refunded the cost of that ticket.
The way ticketing sites like this operate is that either they or the original ticket holder wait and decide whether to deliver your ticket nearer the time - if the ticket price soars (as this latest one did, because England were in the final) they simply resell it to someone else for a far higher price and rake in the extra profit. That is immoral enough - but to pretend you have delivered a ticket knowing full well you haven't is criminal in my book.
Why do Stubhub and websites like them do this? Because they can! There is no legal framework that holds these crooks responsible. People can't be bothered hiring a lawyer to sue them for breach of contract. I still have the receipt and all emails. Meanwhile, I hope this post and the ones I post elsewhere save some people from the grave disappointment Stubhub will cause them.

Something needs to be done to protect their customers from this daylight robbery. That protection sure isn't being offered by this outfit.

I bought and sold tickets many times on Stubhub. It was easy and reliable. That was then. But this is now. Stubhub is now awful. Its customer service line simply does not exist, and I need to contact someone about a major problem. I have been on hold for 89 minutes. Nobody answers. If I do not get someone tonight, I cannot use my tickets. If you have a problem with your tickets, Stubhub will not help you.

WARNING! Don't ever order from #stubhub! Because I entered a PO Box number and contacted them with a updated street address and tickets was rerouted in plenty of time to receive my tickets. Never received my tickets up-to the day of the concert and they will not refund your money. Customer Service is terrible! On hold over 3 hrs! I've called everyday for 7 days to just get the run around. So I'm out $390!

BEWARE! MAKING A PURCHASE FROM STUBHUB DOES NOT MEAN YOU GO TO A GAME. They can take it back hours later and cancel the purchase just before the game you planned to attend. It is such a terrible business and they don't care. We bought tickets from STUBHUB this morning for our family of 4 to go to the Atlanta Hawks playoff basketball game. The sale went through on the agreed upon price and they took our money for the assigned seats in the Terrace level. I stopped looking for other tickets and my family all got ready for the game tonight. My husband even got off work early. As we were leaving to go to the game, StubHub sends us a notice that lets us know 2hrs before the game that the tickets we bought and paid for are now not available. There are no other tickets available together in the stadium except in the most upper deck at the same price. They just said "Sorry, it happens" and stated that BUYING A TICKET FROM THEM DOES NOT MEAN YOU GET THE TICKET OR GET TO GO TO THE GAME. If the seller also sells the tickets on another site (like Ticketmaster), STUBHUB has no way of knowing this but holds your money and leads you to believe you have the tickets which you bought. How do these companies not have a way to guarantee their tickets or monitor if the seller even has the tickets or is still selling them? You can buy the tickets, make plans, and then find out right before the game the tickets you bought aren't there? What? They sell tickets they have no access to and cannot guarantee anything- A PURCHASE MEANS NOTHING!. I spent hours on the phone with customer service and their response is just "Sorry". This is such a terrible business model. Please use another way to purchase tickets as STUBHUB IS A MESS - THEY CAN ONLY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT CAN"T DELIVER TICKETS. EVEN AFTER THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, A PURCHASE MEANS NOTHING. We still haven't even been refunded our money and our plans are ruined. How can they not let you know in a timely manner the purchase made from them was not a purchase? Their business is to sell tickets but they can't actually deliver what you purchase. We could have gotten tickets elsewhere if if we knew right away, but STUBHUB CAN"T MONITOR THEIR OWN TICKETS. We are all so disappointed. WHAT A SHAM!

I went into their website to sell a pair of tickets and the website was stalling so I thought it had not gone through so I went in again and re imputed the information band I got a confirmation but when I went to look at my information it looked like I had 2 ads so I tried to cancel it and tried calling but no answer and the next morning I called and was told their website was having issues but could not stop them from taking a 100.00 out of my account. A few reviews saying the same thing.

Second time I've purchased through Stub Hub only to be redirected to AXS to retrieve my tickets. AXS are crooks. In order to retrieve my purchase I'm directed to a random email and told I need to log in there to acquire my tickets. Kind of tough when you don't have a password for an email you've never seen before. I have a real AXS account why the heck these tickets can't be transferred there I have no idea. The first time I managed to get things squared away at the venue. I'm hoping I can do the same in a couple days. STUBHUB, you've lost a customer. You avoid culpability by claiming to be nothing more than a middle man, but you're the bastards taking my money. No more.

I purchased parking passes from them on Mother's Day, and to this day I still do not have the passes. Customer service promised me a refund and yet I still do not have that either. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO JUST GIVE AWAY! Read the reviews on them, they are terrible!

I purchased two lBilly Ellish tickets in December 2019 for my daughters Christmas present for her concert in March 2020 for $755.20. I asked for a refund when postponed. I was told no refunds until event was canceled. Her concert was finally canceled in December 2020. I called December 10,2020 and was told I could get a coupon at 120% value or a refund. I chose the refund. I was then told it would go back to the card I used to purchase in 120 days. I called back on February 10th complaining about the 120 day wait and wanted my refund expedited. I was told it would be in my account on April 8,2021. On April 8,2021, there was still no refund in my bank account so I called again. I was told it would be in my account on April 9,2021. On April 9,2021, the money was not in my account still, and I called again and spoke with Kevin. I was told it would take 5 to 8 days to process once the 120 days was over. On April 21,2021, there is still no money in my account. I called and spoke with Shernppe. She told me she could expedite which would be another two weeks. How do you expedite when you have waited 120 days and an additional 8 business days. She said it would be two weeks to be expedited. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that supervisor was busy and would call me back, but the supervisor would not be able to offer me anything else. Please boycott StubHub - they will never get any of my money again. They have take advantage of people during a pandemic. I don't know how their CEO sleeps at night while taking advantage of his consumers. When this pandemic is over, people are going to remember how you did business, and I hope that no one uses your service.

I purchased 4 tickets to Hamilton. It cost 1,843.15. The tickets were for August 15,2021. The event was rescheduled for February 2023. I was told that if I were unable to go that I could sell my tickets and they would waive the fee. However, I will not receive my money until AFTER the performance. I will have to wait two years to get my money back. I bought the tickets for my 8 year old daughter because she is obsessed with Hamilton. I have no idea if she will still like it in 2 years. I bought tickets for her grandparents so they could see her at her first show. I don't even know if they will be able to attend a show in two years since they are elderly. I called and spoke with a customer service at Stubhub on April 6,2021. She said they would not refund my money. I reminded her that the website claims that the tickets are 100% guaranteed. She said that only applies if the event is cancelled. In a million years I never thought that the show would be rescheduled two years later. That is absurd. I bought the tickets March 24,2021. I understand that we are in a pandemic, but nothing has changed in the few weeks since I bought the tickets. There is no reason that the show should be rescheduled. I strongly feel that Stubhub should reimburse me the money and resell the tickets to someone who wants to go to a show in February 2023. I hope someone brings a class action suit against Stubhub. I can't be the only person who is upset at having to wait two years to get their money refunded.
