I purchased tickets for an event in March. I received an email in January 2 stating my tickets were ready to transfer. Didn't receive the tickets. After 6 calls and multiple people telling me the tickets would be there in 10 minutes. No tickets. Fast forward 2 days before the game. No tickets. They can't get in touch with the seller. Told the only tickets they could replace my $2600 worth of tickets was in nose bleeds. Put in for a refund. We will see if we get it. This was a birthday present for my son. Now we are in Memphis with no tickets. They won't refund airfare either. Their site states they will give comparable or better tickets and that is a complete lie. I was told, "the tickets in the section you bought are too expensive now" HORRIBLE experience!
Stubhub is a scam site, do not sell your tickets here. Their system glitches and causes your option that requires all tickets to be purchased together, to any number of tickets can be purchased. This glitch is common and many sellers have mentioned this to me. Someone purchased one ticket of mine, and I emailed them to cancel their purchase as it is a mistake, called Stubhub who basically said tough luck, and that I need to transfer the ticket or they will charge me. One minute later they sentd me an email that I must transfer 2 tickets even though the buyer only paid for 1... WHAT? Cancelling account, never use again!
I accidentally purchased the ticket I'm checking. They cannot refund it even it was just made. They happen to be the most expensive in the market with wooping $48+ service fee.
Selling ticket is impossible. It requires barcode yet they don't provide barcode with the ticket.
Had a good experience on this as a seller! Have sold quite a few tickets with no issue at all. Customer Service is alright but you can only contact via email, so expect a response in no less than a day, so maybe something they could improve.
I purchased tickets on my phone through my StubHub app. In trying to get my tickets, I need to verify that it's me through the email that I have on file. I no longer have this email address since I am no long a Cox customer. I have called StubHub for 4 days now to get my email address updated. I was told that they can see that my old emails are getting kicked back (because it's no longer active) and they are telling me for security reasons that they can't verify my account because I can't get into my email. I am very unhappy with this situation! It shouldn't be that hard to update an email address!

I purchased two tickets for $82.24 on 01/20/2023 for a hocket game.
Purchased was confirmed and tickets were in my wallet in StubHub.
When arriving at the event, tickets were not viewable/downloadable.
The event was also not showing my tickets.
No customer support was available as they state "customer service all the way to your seat" is obviously not true.
In short, I needed to buy two new tickets to the event, doubling my cost.
After the event, I filed a complaint and StubHub ultimately told me to go %*ck myself.
Now, I'm left with one thing left to do, and that's to share my story about why people should not use StubHub. There are many alternatives to StubHub, alternatives that don't steal your money.
Bought 2 Carrie Underwood tickets (pictured below) and StubHub LOST THEM. Never received them and they refused to get us replacement seats so we went from having ground floor tickets to getting seated in the very back of the stadium. Never using StubHub again. Ticket Master just gained a new customer!
My son and his girlfriend came to NYC for the first time. We ordered 3 tickets to see Wicked l. We never got the tickets! When we got to the theater, they had no record of our tickets. We called stubhub and they said we did not accept the tickets. I had no link to accept the tickets and besides, what the hell is this accept crap?!? You weren't required to accept our 500.00! They also wouldn't help me that night and said I had to call the next day and talk to someone else. When I did that, they said they wouldn't give us back our money it was now the day after the show. I ordered Carrie Underwood mobile concert tickets months in advance via StubHub. The tickets never showed and when I called they said it's a third party who issues them and that if I didn't get them I could get a refund. Concert was my sister's birthday gift so her birthday was ruined bc these morons are nothing but scammers! We shall see if I actually get my refund. They said it could take a few business days.
I ordered tickets 2 months ago for the UNC State game on February 19th. I never got them. STUB HUB never contacted me. I had to wait till the day before for confirmation of delivery. When I did not get them the tickets the before the event I tried calling and they were not taking any calls that day. I was told to go online to find out about tickets, that sight does not exist. I spent well over 3 hours on the phone the next day talking to rude StuHub reps that yell at you and simply will to your questions with silence. Never got a refund. CEO Baker is a crook collecting money for sales on things he does not own. Do not use StubHub!
Horrible customer service. Excuse after excuse and still no payment. I would give zero stars if possible. I will never sell tickets with them again
I purchased Purdue Men's Basketball tickets for the Purdue/IU game on Feb 25th, through their platform and the seller did not post them. I called on the date they were supposed to have been emailed to me to let them know they were not. The customer service representative told me they would email me to select alternative tickets. I received the email and when I clicked the link, the message was that there were no alternative tickets. I called back and the rep told me to wait, that he would contact the seller to post the tickets, and that they should arrive that day. I waited 3 days, and no tickets. I called back today and the representative told me that they would give me a refund and a $200 coupon that I should receive within 48 hours. I understand that StubHub is a platform for buyers and sellers, but when they say 100% guaranteed from purchase to seat, that is not a genuine offer! Now each ticket is, at a minimum, $200 more than when I purchased them and I purchased 3 tickets. Not only that, I now need to possibly wait another 48 hours for the coupon in order to apply it to this purchase - when the tickets will be even more expensive if any are still available!

I then went to VividSeats and used a preferred seller and received the tickets right away - albeit at that point about $300 more each!
We booked Justine bieber concert ticket in 2022 June. The show was cancelled bcz of his health issues. This company is a fraud. They never gave us our ticket or a refund after the show was cancelled.
Don't ever book the tickets on StubHub bcz it's a scam my $2000 ticket is stuck for a year now.

Can i give zero stars? Can I state that I'll spend the rest of my life telling anybody I meet that StubHub's customer experience compares to hanging out in a back alley preparing to get mugged? While they may claim to be a lot of things and may be a well funded organization, the end effect of this lousy company and even worse "business model" is scam, pure and simple. I spent nearly $3000 on a ticket that was fake and I only found out at the venue. DId this joke of a junk sale offer an apology or explanation? No. Did they give me a full refund? No. My experience with this company left me completely speechless, for all intents and purposes, you may as well be dealing with con-men in a backroom operation somewhere. Buyer beware - In my experience, they're scam artists and recklessly facilitate fraud for profit. That's precisely what they did to me.
Yeah, my worst experience with an app and company is stubhub. I sold the tickets there but after talking with more than eight times and calling them, sending the approval of my bank statement that they didn't pay me, talking with twitter and Facebook account of them and just get same $#*! from all of them that we paid but actually they didn't, it is just in their app and your profile that you are paid.
Nothing will be transferred to your bank accounts by them, even with their provided reference number I talk with my bank CIBC and VISA, they couldn't find any trace of payments by stubhub there.
I checked twitter with stubhub hashtags and yes so many people had same issue.
They just steal your money, time and make you annoy.
I suggest never use this app and if you can sell or buy in more trusted way or go and enjoy your tickets that you bought from some where else.
Sold and uploaded my tickets. StubHub told me order was cancelled. Fine can I have my tickets back. We are working on it. They send me an email with the barcodes of the tickets I gave them and told me to resell them on StubHub. I called the Minnesota Vikings ticket office. They told me the tickets are in the StubHub customers personal Vikings account nothing I can do. So, they wanted me to resell tickets they already sold. I am pretty sure that's not legal. I learned the hard way. Their customer service is the worst I ever dealt with. I am out $2500.00 nothing I can do.
I purchased two tickets to see Six The Musical at the Orpheum Theatre in Omaha, NE for the evening of January 7th. When my daughter and I arrived with our mobile tickets, we were told that they had already been scanned and that someone was already in our seats. We were told to go to the ticket office. After standing in line for a few minutes, we got the same information. Obviously, the seller had sold the tickets to us via StubHub and at least one other buyer as well either through StubHub or another ticket reseller. We were devastated that we had driven all the way downtown, were all dressed up, paid for parking and would be unable to see the musical. I immediately contacted StubHub customer service and were told they take these complaints seriously and they would start a refund. Now I am getting emails from StubHub saying the seller had validated the tickets and they need proof from us that we were turned away. I called the theatre who could only provide me with the name of the person I spoke to that night at the ticket office. The theatre employee me told me that from their experience that I would continue to get the run around from StubHub, that they never call the theatre to check this out and their recommendation was to dispute the charge with my bank. Please do not offer for me to contact your customer service because I have already gone that route with no success.
I'm disappointed in myself for not reading the reviews on this site first before I purchased the tickets. I got to tickets to the world juniors that I printed off but did they work? Hahaha. I suspect the original seller probably printed the tickets off too and beat me to the line up. The venue said they've had to turn a few people away because of bogus tickets. I called customer service which said they would refund me on 5 business days. I'm still waiting. I'll be shocked if I get a refund. Either way it was a waste of time showing up to the game like an idiot. Will never use them again regardless of a refund that I'm still currently waiting for.

Answer: They sell tickets they do not actually have yet. They started selling tickets for a Garth Brooks concert in Salt Lake City before tickets even went on sale. They have no way of knowing if they will actually get tickets to fulfill orders, and just cancel the order the day before the event if they don't have the tickets. Its pretty much a gamble with Stub Hub if you will get your tickets or not.

Answer: Hi Rachael, If you purchase a ticket labeled as Instant Download you will receive your ticket as soon as you order. If you purchase a mobile ticket or electronic download then you will be notified when your ticket is ready. Which would be no later than the date advised when you purchase. It is very rare to not have your ticket prior to the day of event. There are only a select few shows that require ticket delivery day of event.
