We (my boyfriend and I) both purchased Silver plan, but we cannot connect our devices (iphone 12) when it's supposed to be compatible. We call the support line, they told us our provider in Canada is not covered by them so our purchases are useless. Can't refund us, walmart won't refund us. Straight Talk suggests us to buy a phone from them, when our trip is 7 days in the US. Or to sell the cards to somebody that will use them, we don't know anybody in the US.
Wow, straight talk was a good reliable phone service for many years. I had very few issues. Verizon has taken over and destroyed my service within months. What are we doing Verizon, running customer away from straight talk to choose Verizon services. Since they moved from ATT to Verizon, I have called multiple times and all they say is that i have to change the sim card, they has sent me already 2 sim cards and the problem has not been solved. Spoke with multiples agents and no luck, the last one, Named Esteban, did not want to communicate me with a Supervisor, even when I asked him if he wanted to loss a client, well they did lost client! NEVER Will Recommend this Company!
I have been lied too, hung up on, still waiting for my phone service to start. I am sending a letter to the company president and hope that will help.
Worst customer service ever. Complaint to FCC didn't even help. This is the cell phone service. Other parts seem ok even in customer service, but not mobile service! Their customer service agents are untrained and unsupervised.
I was a straight talk customer many years ago and a customer for years. I ordered a phone on their web site. I called back within an hour to cancel that order. I was told there was no cancelation permitted. I filed a FCC complaint and disputed the charge through my credit card company. The credit card company didn't back me so I dropped them. It took months, but I got my money back.
Well July 2023 I decided to give them another chance. They sent me a sin card with instructions on how to activate my phone and transfer my number to straight talk. I tried for hours to transfer and activate my phone with no luck. I got a representative to help. He asked for the IMEI number on the phone I had when I was with then maybe 10 years prior. Well,I have that phone and charged it and gave him the IMEI number. I got through the activation to the password part. I write down my passwords. So I know the password was right. Their system wouldn't except the password and even though I asked for an email to reset my password, I never got one. I finally said cancel my order. They said send our sin card back. I drove the 30 miles to a UPS store to return their sin card. The man at UPS said I had to pay for the return. I refused because none of this problem was my fault! I called straight talk again and to the woman what I (a 68 year old man) I had been through. She said she would refund my money. I said what about this sin card? She said keep it or throw it away. I also disputed the charge through my Chase credit card. Straight talk lied and never have returned my money. It's been 20 days. I have once again filed a complaint with the FCC against straight talk. These people are liars and thieves! NEVER AGAIN!
Someone stole my catch up card and paid their straight talk bill straight talk or not talk to me or refund the money or no customer service unless I have a phone number I do not have the phone number through state talk so how am I supposed to get my money back when no one will talk to me because I do not have a straight talk number. I've tried customer service through email I've tried to send them a letter I've tried to call obviously but there's no response cash up refuses to contact them I'm supposed to do all the work I've done all the work I can do they're still not refunding my money
I teach customer service classes, I need to invite the Straight Talk customer service staff for free! This company has the absolute worst customer service of anyone anywhere! They did not treat us with any care and concern, we were hung up on at least 6 different times. No one has any authority to do anything for you. It wasn't until we talked to a refund agent and demanded a refund and a new phone, the wow, we got action and finally received help. We have left ST after 15 years, never going back! Got material for my next class, lol.
My auto-refill should have been 265.00 but I was charged 807.77. It took 3 long phone calls and 4 days before anyone could tell me what happened. I still have not seen and refund on my credit card. This is simply highway robbery. There was no apology or compensation for the finance charge I will have to pay on my credit card. This is a terrible company to deal with, we will change to something else as soon as our time is up.
Was told we could use this on Xbox, you can't. Called to cancel service, had no problem knowing I was out my $50, but the only way they can cancel is for me to go to the bank and issue me a new card with a different number. REALLY! Patheticā¦
I signed up with this company for a cell phone line, and after eight days they terminated the account. I called them they stayed on the phone with me for over three hours without a resolution. They charged my account for the month and continued to charge my account with auto pay without my permission, I contacted them and they agreed to issue me a refund, but they never issue me my refund. They still owe me for two months they tried to tell me that they do not have my banking credit card on file, but how can they continue to charge my account seven times? This is theft, This is the worst customer service I have ever had, They are rude, and when asked to speak to a manager they would be indicated that they are highly qualified then they would hang up
Constantly have dropped calls, missed calls, missing messages. Tech support is laughable and customer service is non existent. If you ask to speak to a supervisor, they say they are the supervisor. Must be like PopCopy. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy
I been a customer for years I purchased a plan July the first on July the 12th around 9 pm my service was disconnected after hours of wasted time they never corrected the problem the representative told me my service was disconnected because my bank declined my payment so I called the bank and they said on July 3rd my payment went through without a problem I tried contacting them to tell them they made a terrible mistake my service shouldn't have been cut off but they insisted that I need to purchase a plan in order for my service to be cut back on so I just decided to buy another phone and plan from someone else I'm so done with straight talk
This was a most frustrating experience i have ever had. Literally ruined my holidays, straight talk support is horrible. I feel like they make fun of you every time you call. Wouldn't recommend that service to my worst enemies.
I have been with this company for several years and had no issues, but due to budget constraints, I needed to transfer to a different service provider. StraightTalk is refusing to manually transfer my families phone numbers to the new provider until a full week after we initiated the process even though they have the ability to do so now. Avoid this company at all costs.
Between July 2022 and February 2023straight talk failed to provide me service as per their agreement. I made more than 50 calls which were all outsourced to the philipines. The call center reps refused to help and each time they hung up. I now have a final judgment against them. Stay away from straight talk.
The FCC allowed Verizon Wireless to take over Straight Talk since then my reliable cell phone service is no more I have dropped calls and my phone goes out completely,frequently this is the fault in my opinion of the FCC please file a complaint if you are having the same problem with the FCC and let them know what they have caused. Verizon Wireless is a greedy company and they do not want people to have an affordable cell phone plan.
They don't know how to do their jobs they hang up on people they're asking to get a huge lawsuit put against them they don't know how to do what they're told they don't know how to listen and they like to hit numbers wrong just to try to get you to repeat yourself and repeat yourself and repeat yourself to try to make you look stupid when they're the ones being stupid straight talk sucks I'm telling this is the last time I'm ever getting a straight talk phone service and I hope everybody in the world stops getting straight talk to cuz they suck
The cell service sucks and I bought a phone from straight talk that was new off the shelf at Walmart and it won't read any Sims card I had called them about the on going issue with the phone and the kept tell me to take the Sims card out and put back in the phone so did about 20 times and also restarted the phone and still did not read the Sims card after all the then I called them again and they told me my Sims card was expired and I had to buy a new one so bought a new sims cardand I called them again to set it up and it still will not read the Sims card and the worst customer service ever as they hung up the two times as I was trying to resolve the issue with the phone I would not recommend straight talk as a good cellphone carrier I'm switching soon
Answer: Cheaper than ATT for a landline. I never thought of the problems I am having trying to get service started. I don't know how they stay in business considering the gift fact that Verizon owns them.
Answer: I've been pretty consistently able to get a hold of them. As far as them being helpful not at all.
