Worst customer service department I've ever dealt with by far. I haven't spoken to anyone with an English accent yet that I can understand. They kept me on hold for over 50 minutes and then disconnected me twice. Still have not solved my issue.

Awful

The worst I've ever had. I'll have network then it goes away for 10 mins never know when. In between calls. Watching YouTube. I run a HVAC business from 4 of them with employees and they miss calls miss jobs. $#*!in hate them will be changing as soon as I leave this.

As of 2022, ST told me that I need to update my SIM card, they screwed so many sim cards they sent and non of it working. I just give up, as they customers service from overseas, non of them know how to resolve your problems. Too bad, I had it for many years though.

Refuse to give refund
September 26, 2022

I ordered a new phone from Straight Talk that was supposed to arrive in 2 days. Received notice it would be delayed and needed a phone so I went to Walmart and purchased one. When the phone I ordered arrived, I returned the package, unopened. They say the refund could take up to 2 billing cycles... I was generous and gave them 3. When no refund showed in my account, I contacted customer service. I provided my order number (including a screen shot of the order confirmation) and the return UPS tracking number (including a photo of the ticket). I had checked UPS tracking and the item had been received and signed for at the center in TN. They dragged their feet and kept passing me off to different people over the course of 3 weeks. During that time, the UPS tracking limit of 120 passed and they claimed they couldn't prove it arrived. Then one of the people I spoke to said he found confirmation of the return and would elevate my claim to the next level and I should receive a refund in within 48 hours. That time came & went and nothing. I contacted them again and the whole process started again. I contacted the BBB and 2 days later, Straight Talk contacted me... but nothing changed. I haven't received any refund and communication from them has stopped as well. I paid $300 for a phone that wasn't even opened. This all resulted from them not delivering my order on time in the first place. I am a single father of 2 and although it might seem like a small amount, the money has a strong impact on my family. I have been a loyal Straight Talk customer for at least 10 years, but that will end if they don't refund the money they owe me. I have spent hours dealing with something that should have been automatic. EXTREMELY disappointed.

The worst service ever
September 25, 2022

I have been a customer with these people over 5years. I never really had a serious issue until now. Starting July 2022, I went on a trip and I couldn't use my gps, my phone wasn't working or anything. I called straight talk over 10 times about the issue and they couldn't do anything. Here it is the end of September and I'm still having the same issue. I've called these folk over 50 times since July literally and they seem to not give a care in the world. I'm officially switching service's because I'm wasting money paying for 4 phone that we can barely use. I also asked to speak to a supervisor and they all tell me they can't transfer me to one. DO NOT deal with these people. They are a ripoff and need to be out of service.

There customer service team need more training. I paid for service but my phone never came back on. I have 3 phones with them and every time I call they take 4 hours to just add service. I will be going to another service. I hope everyone stop using this service they never help u when u need it

We had straight talk for 8 years. Never a problem. We ALWAYS paid for the year upfront. We always brought our own phone, there was never an issue. We bought new phones in 2021 and bought the year 2021. No problem. 2022 comes, we buy the the whole year. No problem. Then come march our phones stop working. Straight talk says that the carrier in our plan AT&T is now not compatible with our phone. Strange since we've already had these phones for a 1yr & 3 months and there has been no compatibility issues. Straight talk says our only remedy is to buy one of their (AT&T compatible) phones. We don't want one of their phones. So now we changed to another carrier and straight talk will NOT refund the 9 months left in the contract.
2 phones at the cost of nine months of service down the drain. We certainly did not have that money to waste.

Worst customer support call center ever. Cant speak english let alone help you with anything. Waisted 5 hours getting the run around becaise the mobile data add on wasnt going through and i needed data to do my job. Kept getting told i used all my data. How could i use 3 gb of data when i was on the phone with them the whole time and internet wasnt even working on my phone. These people over seas think its funny to screw us over because nothing happens to them if they treat you like crap and know they arent helping you and think its funny.

The only way to fight these corporate thieves is to file complaints with the FCC and BBB. More important we must request an investigation into the company and make our issues heard. Straight Talk is not reputable I've had similar issues with AT&T but at least at&t had a smidge better customer service. I'm now looking to dump straight talk but I'm not leaving without causing them some trouble

I called yesterday and was inquiring about why no one called me to let me know why phone I ordered a moro got canceled. I looked at order the man in sales put my billing address wrong. That's why I said to self. So I called asked for supervisor in sales. I got a female would not give me her ID number or name as I asked since she had no knowledge of miro 2022 moldle what made it better than 2021. She stated exactly this. ( it the moto 2022 has new particles in it?) I couldnt believe what I was experiencing. Particles I asked? Particles are debrie or particulit not electronics. I then asked for her supervisor she stated this exactally. ( We straight talk, dont do that antmore) I stated you dont transfer to your supervisors you wont give me your ID number or contact. I must say your not wanting me to explain what I'm experiencing with you. I was fed up. They did billing address wrong yet they take out 45.00 plus tax out of same card. Does this make since? Does oarticals fall under why a phone better. The incompetence was growing. This grew into nightmare. I decided my son works for att I'm going there. I did try to call back but I'm thinking got same person. I asked to talk to superior the girl with heavy accent hung up on me. I can only hope straight talk will see this review. This is so weird I would classify it strangest things. I bw leaving this 10 plus years of straight talk because well it's all here to understand why... it was terrible

Fraud

This company works with third party but doesn't have their information put together because they will give your information over to anyone. You're a customer paying faithfully for straight talk for them to tell me I don't have an account with them someone else does poor service and this company is fraud.

I have been a Straight Talk customer and had my same number for several years. And we have had up to five straight talk lines in our home at a time. I have received text messages telling me to redeem the points I have earned. So today I finally decided to try to redeem those points. And I did not have enough points even for the $35 plan. And the customer service agent couldn't even tell me how many points I had only that I did not have enough. Times are lean in my household a free month of service would have came in handy.

We tried one of StraightTalk's hotspots to take on vacation so our kids could continue with their school sessions. The device turned on and found nearby cell towers but it NEVER CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. I had to burn up my cell phone minutes and then buy extra data after that. ST's customer support person (Reynoso) refused to issue a credit. Don't waste your money... use another hotspot service provider from now on... I will.

Let's start with how there customer support is completely horrible. The worst out of all providers in my own opinion. Second you have to call them constantly for one reason or another. (Had to call them because it wouldn't let me use me hotspot. Such a huge inconvenience when I done bought the card allowed for hot stop. Why should I have to call for your permission that's why I bought that plan. Wouldn't be such a big deal but this is ever month in a new billing cycle.) Also does not support tethering, cannot root most of there phones, 60gb limit until they decide you have used it too much even though you bought a UNLIMITED DATA PLAN. So so many more reasons. So I am giving them a 1 outta 10 and I'm not sure why I'm giving them 1. Next week going back to my old company. Verizon never had a problem with them...

Customer service is completely worthless. They have no clue what they are doing. If turn it off and on doesn't work, they are completely lost. Will tell you they will call you back in 15 minutes. They never call back. You have to keep calling them back and get the same run around.

Worst provider

I as a customer had straight talk for years until yesterday they ended my service because I was texting my family group to much but I paid my bill last week for unlimited calls and texts. I was so mad they they cut my service off and wouldnt turn it back on and wouldnt give me my money back for just paying this account. I am so pissed that a company could do me like this and every one i talk to said that they never heard such in their life. I went and talked to a customer service in verizon and he called straight talk and they told him the same thing that they were not turning my phone back on and that I can go out and purchase another phone with a new phone number. I only made about 10 til 15 family group texts yesterday because I had death in my family my baby sister pass away. I was very upset to know that a provider would do me so wrong so is anybody is with straight talk please read this and be careful of texting to much because I do not want this to happen to someone else. It is so wrong that I paid for unlimited service but I still got shut off from my phone.

Straight Talk used to be a good phone service but for a while now they have become the worst phone service I have ever dealt with. My phone is constantly kicked offline. Only works about a third of the time, if even that much. Definitely going t ok another phone service asap.
