Don't order from this website if you expect professionalism and smooth experience. They are the worst. I ordered sandals from the Website and received them after 1 month. Customer service is a joke. They have no idea what they are doing and some have the worst communication skills. After fighting with them just to return the unworn sandals, 3 months later I am still waiting for my refund. They have confirmed receipt of my return but I had to file a dispute with my bank. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY FROM A MORE PROFESSIONAL COMPANY WHO CATERS TO THE CUSTOMER. NEVER AGAIN!

Ordered something about two weeks ago and still haven't got a shipping confirmation just a email Saying my order will be shipped around the 27th of this month when I ordered them for a event a little after the expected ship date. Oh how I wish I would've read reviews before I ordered these shoes. I got them for my son for his birthday. I ordered a size 10, my son wears a size 10 and so does my fiancé. They both tried the shoe on and they could not get their foot in them. Because they are a clearance item they refused to give me my money back even though I didn't get what I ordered. I feel like I was duped… Like they knew that these were not a true size 10 so they put them on clearance and now I'm stuck with them. I will never order from them again and I will discourage anyone else to order from them as well. I paid $70 for these shoes and now I'm stuck with them. Horrible service! I'd give zero stars if I could!

Worst Experience Ever
October 27, 2021

I rally regret that I did not look into the customers reviews before placing my order.
I have placed an order on September 22 2021, order # *******, order was split in to two packages, after I received confirmation of delivery on 8th October and on 18th October 2021, AND THAT WAS A BIG LIE, I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING UNTILL TODAY.
I contact the customers service, and they explained that orders shipped outside the 50 continentals US are first sent in to shipping station in Shelton. CT, then a new tracking number will be provided via United States Global Priority mail.
Today, 27th October, no news yet bout my order nor any new tracking number have been provide.
I only get UNREALISTIC EXECUSES from the customer service about my package with zero updates.
My advice, don't buy from Steve Madden online, YOULL GET SCAMMED.

Four emails - no response - no commercial invoice
October 25, 2021

I sized up according to the wrong advice on the website and received a pair of shoes that was too big. I prepare the package for the return and I email to ask the commercial invoice as advised in the refund form (which I have not received with the order). No response after FOUR emails. Tomorrow I will send the fifth. I made a review on trust pilot and still no answer from Steve Madden. I will take this to the relevant authorities as this is ridiculous unless I hear back from someone ASAP. I am on day 8 from the first email. (Order STEV*******)

Granted I placed my order on 16 October 2021, it is now 21 October and FedEx is still stating that only a label was created. I totally understand that the nation is going through a pandemic, but it is totally fraudulent to to mislead customers in believing that orders will be delivered within 2 business days. I will be contacting my credit card services on tomorrow to see about having this transaction reversed. I so wished I had looked over the reviews before placing my order.

Today I went into the store in Vancouver, Canada to have a look and saw they had some shoes on Sale. I asked to try on two pairs and after that point, 3 members of staff in the shop would not stop approaching me and asking me if I needed help. It was almost as if the staff were either just completely deaf or ignored the fact that their colleague had just asked interrupted and asked me the same thing, less than a meter away from them. After the 2nd time of the first female member of staff asking me, they started to begin with "I'm sorry for asking you again. Do you need any help?". I was trying the shoes on, looking in the mirror and trying to decide whether they were any good, and then I took pictures to ask my other half what she thought. They were extremely uncomfortable and didn't fit but the staff said they had no larger sizes. Eventually, because I was so sick of the staff bothering me over and over I agreed to buy them, knowing full well they don't fit and hurt my feet like hell. Now apparently because they were on sale, I can't return them so I'm stuck with a stupid pair of shoes, that are extremely painful and I don't want them. Absolutely ridiculous.

What terribly designed shoes! What terrible customer service! If you are not pleased with a poorly designed shoe and try to rectify through customer service, you basically get told too bad for you-move on with your life with no refund, no apology and no way they will even consider your comment could be helpful! Don't WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BRAND-there's so many more out there that actually care about their customers and their experiences!

Very disappointed in there customer service
Extremely hard to get a hold doesn't respond to emails, returned my order for being to small I purchased 7 which is a 38 received 37.5 should of been a size 6 it was that small
1 month later and they are still processing my return really wanted to repurchase what I had ordered but now sold out. Definitely not buying of them again.

Zipper broke after 2 short wears - no refund
August 31, 2021

Weak customer service & product. I ordered $100 boots. Zipper broke after only worn once briefly, then put on for a wedding. Never made it out of the parking lot. Zipper completely popped open. Boots were un- repairable & worthless. 3 months old. Clearly brand new looking in photos. SM would not refund only store credit once returned. Nothing I wanted every thing is more expensive. Better to buy cheap Chinese goods off Amazon than deal with SM. I will never buy SM again. Shoes are not comfortable compared to Camper or other similar price lines. DON'T BUY STEVE MADDEN! They don't back their products.

I placed an order on 8/15 and waited the company policy period of 3-5 days for delivery. After that time with no updates to my tracking I realized the shoes would not be shipping out. Customer service at first said the shoes were lost and that they needed 5 days to locate them (if available anymore) then they backtracked and said they shipped but were lost (which isn't true on the tracking site).

They keep opening new "investigations" which is really just stalling for time while they continue to hold onto your money.

They should not mark an order as fulfilled or process the payment if they never intended to provide the product.

They should be reported to the BBB

I was really excited to get the maxima shoes. Plus with the 4 other leggings that i bought. Come to find out that they took the payment for everything but didn't even fill everything nor did I receive my package. On the tracking it said the order for #******* would be delivered August 23. I waited, and didn't get anything. Check tracking again and it now says pending date. Called FedEx and they said they never got the package and it's only the label that was created but never sent the package to the facility. I tried calling customer service and send them emails but never got a response. I can't even get a refund. Please guys if you are reading this save your money and time, don't bother with this website. It's a scam. They will take your money and won't give you the products you bought. I wish I would have did my research. Wasted my hard earn money for nothing.

Shipping policy is incorrect

I wish I'd read the reviews first, but I thought this would be reputable company since I've bought Madden shoes from other retailers with no issues and loved my purchases. I placed an order on August 8th. I got a shipping confirmation on August 10th with a FedEx tracking number. Looking good so far, right? From previous experience, I know tracking numbers are usually useless for the first day or two as the only thing confirmed is the creation of the shipping label so FedEx knows to expect that shipment.

"Label Created" has been the status of my order for 8 days now. That would mean FedEx still doesn't have it. If they do, I find it very strange that there have been no scans or updates in the last 8 days. My first email to Steve Madden customer service was met with what may have been an auto-response that included my tracking number, which did not help me or answer my question. After I said as much, the second response blamed the pandemic on slower shipping times for couriers.

Steve Madden shipping literature says "3-7 days." So, change it if it's been that difficult to meet those expectations, even if those expectations are the fault of the courier. Because this is not the transaction I elected to make. I don't mind waiting extra time for a package, IF that is the agreement from the start. As clearly evidenced by the many reviews on this site from people who have had the exact same problem I'm having, this company is lying and stealing by not updating their shipping information and ending contact with customers looking for help or refunds. They sure were able to take my money right away. There are people stuck on "Label Created" for up to weeks and months. I'll be giving it one more week and then contesting with Paypal to get my money back. And don't ask me for my order number and tell me you'd like to "look into this" for me. Change the language in your shipping policy to reflect the truth. I have included a photo of where my order should be right now.

Poor customer service

Ordered two pairs of sneakers with matching bags. I still have not received my order. For a lack of better words was pretty much told I just have to wait. You didn't wait to snatch my $400. Never again. About to cancel my order as we speak.

Ridiculous...
August 13, 2021

I ordered an item with "two day shipping" however, I still haven't received the item. I emailed customer service several times and they kept saying the item shipped. I spoke to FedEx and they said it's a lie because they haven't received the item to ship yet, all they have is a label. I am so disappointed because I ordered this item as a gift and now I don't have it nor do I have any idea when I will receive it. I now have to go out a buy another gift when this particular item is the one my sister asked for. When I told their so called customer service that FedEx said they never received the item, they stopped emailing me back. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau because this is ridiculous. Now I know that I will not be ordering from this site EVER again, smh.
UPDATE: I just went on their website and it says the item is on back order and expected to be in stock 9/6/2021 but yet my item allegedly "shipped" smh. What a joke. I'm so upset.

Bad Customer Service

Steve Madden has appallingly horrible customer service. The shoes are merely ok. They promise free 2 day shipping on orders over $50. UNtrue. One order took 5 days. Second order is going to take at least 3 weeks! Ordered on July 23 & is estimated not to arrive until Aug 9! Third order was also ordered on 23 July & hasn't even reached the Post Office yet. These were new shoes only added to the site July 22.
I will now never buy Steve Madden. It's supposed to be a luxury brand but they don't treat their customers in the same manner.

Poor quality

I ordered the gold Justine sandal that wraps around the legs. They were high heel sanders and very beautiful. Wore them to a wedding and the heels literally loosened up and were twisted over to the side on both shoes. These are 200 dollar shoes! I try to call customer service for weeks and no answer. I just want an exchange for another pair. I can't even get help with that. I have purchased a lot of Steve Madden shoes over the years and never had a problem. But I guess there is always an exception. Very disappointed.
