Steve Madden shipping is HORRIBLE! I ordered a pair of boots over a month ago and I haven't heard a word about where my shipment could possibly be. I had ordered back in November so that the shoes could have been on time for Christmas and I am now still waiting. I tried their chat online as well (their customer service line was not working OF COURSE) and they told me they couldn't confirm that my order has shipped and that they couldn't give me and estimated delivery date. I am extremely annoyed and will no longer be purchasing from this company.
Poor management at Steve madden gateway store
The only way to describe the service and management *******@stevemaddensa gateway store. Extremely disappointed with the type of people managing the store. Bought shoes on sat the next day I wore them and my feet were cut and blistered I even took of my shoes and showed my feet to the manager Valerie who isn't even capable of running the store. She with held my shoes saying she would get back to me on Sunday. Today is Monday I had no response from her I called the store 5 times for an update apparently its her day off. I spoke to an assistant manager Logan who couldn't assist me in any way saying its not his problem he doesn't know what to do. 4 hours later still waiting 4 his call back. Now he's on break. My shoes are being with held illegally firstly since I paid for those shoes I dont live in the area and I explained that to Valerie so how are they planning on giving me back my shoes so thats theft. I *******@stevemaddensa needs to find better managers for their stores to maintain their elite brand because these people aren't able to even manage a store and will instead lose customers this way. Extremely disappointed with the service and will never shop there again! The worse part was the service and it seems that these people's have no ability to manage the store or train staff
I called and spoke with a representative two weeks prior to Christmas about my order. I was told that I would receive a call back within a few days, and I never did. I called back today to get and update and was completely blown off my two representatives, one I. Which was extremely rude. There was no attempt for solution, alternatives, or anything of that nature. I have ordered from Steve Madden for years, but this has definitely turned me off from ever wanting to purchase again. I wish I could rate customer services with ZERO stars, because the first representative I received is HIGHLY unrecommended.

Please do not order from this company that supposed to be a reputable brand. I ordered shoes in October 23,2020, and we are now in December 2020 NO SHOES! Contacted FEDEX who stated all order issues must be directed to company because they have some type of agreement. However, Steve Madden does not require proof of shipment from FEDEX because they supposed to have some type of coverage.
Well moral of the story is if you have any issues with your online order you will have to go to war to get your money back! DON'T DO IT!

I only gave one star because I had to. I purchased shoes online for store pick up. I had to keep calling because I wasn't getting any email stating my order was being processed. I find out they don't even have my order in stock! Why would the order be allowed for purchase if it's not in stock! Then customer service tells me I have to wait for them to find a store that has my order! I just cancelled my order and will never order from them again
Not once, not twice, but THREE times ive had an issue with purchase and orders. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes. The first pair were shipped and sent back to sender without reason or warning, and the other 2 i was able to make a purchase online and both times after waiting 2 weeks each time I get an OOps message saying the shoes are not in stock? WASTE OF TIME AND no one even helps you all a bunch of idiots
I should have read the reviews before ordering from this place. But since it's a well known name like Uggs, Dillards, Nine West in which I'm ordering from them all the time I haven't had a problem at all with them. I placed a boot order on Thursday if my boots don't ship by Wednesday 10/28/20 I will call my credit card company and place fraud on my account from this place. I see other people have been having problems with this company shipping their merchandise after their order was placed. This was my first and last time placing and order with this company. My order just says confirm. The order should have shipped out by now. I can't get anyone on the phone.
I ordered some shoes on sept 24, and on the website they showed back ordered until oct 8 which was fine, here it is October 24, I've sent an email to them after the 16th about how I ordered these shoes, I DID NOT GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, NOTHING. They emailed me back the next day apologizing for the miscommunication and told me they'd email me once my shoes ship. NOTHING STILL. I WOULD UNDERSTAND THINGS BECAUSE BACK ORDERED BUT IF ITS PASSES THE EXPECTED THEM YOU PUT ON YOUR WEBSITE DONT YOU THINK YOU SHOULD CONTACT THE CUSTOMER AND PROVIDE THEM WITH THAT INFORMATION. I called into their call center today and asked to cancel my order, the customer service agent didn't ask why and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. I then went on the ask why no email and why she didn't even attempt to give me an explanation, she gave me some sad excuse about covid and then being manufactured in China and how it was delayed. Girl just refund me my money, covid can't be an excuse sorry but waiting a month on something and didn't even get an apology. I'll never buy from their online website again, might not ever stop with Steve Madden again.
After trying to return shoes from an online delivery for over 2 weeks, because none of the links they gave me worked. I am now waiting almost a month for the return on my credit card.
The website is terrible if you have a Canadian address but the customer service emails are super friendly. I will give them that.

I ordered a pair of shoes in March 2020. I received the shoes but was unable to wear them until last weekend because of COVID-19. The strap broke within the first hour of wearing them.
I called customer service and spoke with a customer service representative who was extremely rude. I asked to speak with a manager and he said "ok" and hung up the phone. I then contacted customer service via e-mail and was told they cannot issue a refund or an exchange. What a joke.

I bought these shoes for my husband several years ago. He wore them a couple of times then they ended up in the closet. He probably forgot he had them. He only started wearing them again recently and today he notice that the stitching had pulled away. I have a really good cobbler but I'm sure she can't repair them as there's nothing to stitch to. Totally disappointed

This is a seriously true story. I placed an order online on MAY 23... I STILL HAVEN'T GOT THE SHOES YET... It's SEPTEMBER tomorrow! No follow up emails or anything. I'm going to call VISA card to report this company and get refund if they don't contact me another 3 days. I just can't believe I got scammed by this kind of famous company. I will never ever buy a single product from this company again. I don't support the company that doesn't appreciate customers AT ALL. The worst of worst shopping experience in my life.

Ordered shoes, never got any shipment email or update 3 weeks later. Dozens mails to CS, with canned responses ("near future" "pandemic" "about to go to fulfillment center.") that they then RECYCLED word for word as if to taunt. Credit card charged immediately which is shady. Only should charge once shipped which in my case was never. AVOID. Look how all these comments say the same thing. When you order shoes you expect you'll get then. Not the case here.

I ordered a few items online and they sent me them in 5 parcels. When I wanted to return some of the items I was only able to print out 1 label, which obviously is not enough to post their shoes. I contacted their customer service and after of a week of communicating with them, they were able to email me an extra label. I sent it back like 1.5 months ago, and they refunded me only partially. When I called their customer service today, they lied they refunded me and I "need to call my bank" and they "forgot to refund me for one last item, and they will do it after I call my bank and they will put a note for now". What?! She put me on hold, it was like 10-15 min, she never got back to me.
So I immediately called my bank and they didn't find any refund transactions they have mentioned. So I filed a dispute with the store. I can't believe this is happening in 21st century.

During this pandemic I have bought several things. Some from Amazon others things from Walmart, Macy's, Kohl's, and Target. I've been looking for a clear/transparent heel and I continued to be recommended to Steve Madden. In doing so I noticed they had a 60% off sale. I was ecstatic! As anyone could imagine! I decided to purchase the Classify Clear in a size 9. As it stated it was available. 6 days later I noticed that I was getting two emails a day from SM but not an email stating my order was shipped. I proceeded to call SM. The representative proceeded to tell me the system is trying to locate the item in one of their warehouses. I then proceeded to ask, "It takes the computer system more than 6 days to locate an available item in a warehouse?" That tells me right there that SM is totally unprofessional! You all had a huge sale! Yet you don't have the capacity nor the technology to fill the orders? That's so disappointing and terrible business ethics! Needless to say, the representative said if the system can locate the item it will send it. If not then they will refund me. If the item was NOT available it shouldn't have been listed as available. I recently made a purchase from Target. After putting in my card information and selecting next to pay it kicked it back out and stated the item was no longer available. They didn't waste my time not did they take money! You all make plenty of money from your consumers. I looked up the net worth of the owner himself. Please get rid of the antiquated system that you're using and replace it with a system that is up to date and professional. You are turning customers away. If my order is canceled I will proceed to write my review on all Social Media Platforms.

Answer: It's a legit company, but they are very unorganized and don't hire appropriate associates to deal with any customer issues/complaints. I would do extensive research before ordering online. Their in store service is moderate.
Answer: It used to take less than a week from ordering to get your shoes. As of late, their warehouse coffeemaker must be broken or their staff are underpaid and miserable because, the orders aren't being shipped. Order from Steve Madden if a) you appreciate the element of surprise: will your shoes arrive? Will they be the size you ordered?; or b) considering ordering a style you anticipate preferring a year or so from now, or maybe never.
