Stately did well!

My wife has used curated boxes in the past, so I was a little leery of committing to an all or nothing type of box. I've recently changed jobs, and the new position requires a little bit of an upgraded wardrobe for my normal business casual. I decided to try Stately because I perused a few of the influencer videos and saw sample boxes on instagram, and I feel like that they have a style that I try to imitate. My first box was fantastic! There was one piece that didn't quite fit, so I sent it back for an exchange. Otherwise I really enjoyed my first box, and I'm looking forward to the second.

I picked the Presidential Plan which is $499. (Read the fine print. No refunds!) Setting up my style profile I asked for no slim fits or V-Necks. First box received had two slim fit shirts and a v-neck. Requested returns on all items. Then the second box came and still had a pair of slim fit jeans that showed up. Requested a return on the second box items and now I get to pay return shipping because it's the second box. Requested but they don't do that per terms ans conditions! Good news is I get store credit for brands that don't work for me. Hard lesson to learn but please read all the terms and conditions

Mostly cheap clothing

Save your money. I used their service for 6 months. Half the clothing I had to send back because they were junk or to small or to big. Some of the items you can not return, and if you do they charge you an extra 25 dollars to ship it back to you. I wear an XL size, the clothing was either hanging on me or to tight, there was no size consistancy with the brands they sent me. You will be lucky if half clothing lasts more than 3 washes. You are better off saving your money and buying from a quality clothing manufacturer you like.

UPDATE 02/07/24. Funny how they responded "We did reach out to you so we can look further into this and make sure we are doing everything we can to make sure you enjoy the clothing you have received." This is a lie, a typical cut and paste CYA response. They have both my email addesss (nothing) They know my cell number (nothing) They could have snailed mailed something (nothing) This reponse isnt to try to keep me as a customer, its to fool those reading this review that they care about their customers of have good customer service. Like I said, save your money.

First box showed up after over a week in transit and was very disappointed. Was suppose to be a mix of clothes and all were on the same theme. Red pants really and a sketchers belt? Sizes that didnt fit and a 15% restocking few for returns. Worst is I cannot return the socks or cheap sketchers belt.

I ordered one box of clothes and then like 3 months later my credit card got charged for almost $200. Immediately I tried to cancel it and they said it was too late, I was stuck with it and can't return it. Only later I got an email saying I was getting another box, that I didn't want...after they already charged me. Horrible strategy to keep customers... Stay away!

Stay away. They falsely advertise on their social platforms. They don't follow directions on looks you want and then won't refund, plus make it harder to exchange. Buyer beware!

Although some of the clothes were decent, my experience with Stately is the worst I have had with a company. I was charged a significant amount of money without warning when I was not expecting it; I have had more technical problems with Stately's website than any other I've shopped on, and I believe this to be the cause. Whatever the reason it happened, I let Stately know immediately that there was a mistake and that I did not order anything. Despite having weeks, customer service refused to do anything to resolve the situation, and I now have a box of clothes I did not order and do not consider my property sitting in my garage. I am open to speaking with Stately further, but currently feel I have been deliberately scammed, and am in contact with my bank over the matter.

If you are considering ordering from Stately, read their terms of service in its entirety; there is no official way to return items, no matter the circumstances. It is very easy for them to ignore changes to your subscription and then claim the right to take and keep your money, and other reviewers say that have had difficulty cancelling as well. Unless you would not notice over $175 disappearing out of your account all of a sudden, I recommend avoiding Stately.

Do not use this service. I signed up for Stately during Black Friday because it said on top of the $600 worth of clothes on the Regal plan, you also received $150 of extra clothing items in your box. I filled out a a very detailed style profile which stated I wanted business casual, more work clothes, no watches, etc. I received my first box and I guarantee it had to have been pre-filled and sent without ever reading my style profile. I received a pair of jeans (slim fit when I requested straight), a Henley, a flannel, a shirt jacket, and a pair of boots that I had to read the tag in order to see if they were actually leather. My wife hated it as well, so it wasn't just me. Of, course they will not refund your money. Then, they were supposed to send me my next package ASAP. I was notified on 12/20 that it was being sent by UPS. The concierge led me to believe my box was already gone. I checked my order status after Christmas and it was canceled. I was not notified, I had to find this out on my own. Of course, they blamed it on UPS. But, coincidentally, my order was canceled at around the exact same time I canceled my membership. They have now refused to send me a box and have issued me store credit in their reject store instead of sending another box. Which means I also lost out on the $150 of bonus items.

Thanks for your feedback Michael. We did let you know that UPS was experiencing delays and cancelled the label because it was not picked up. We have no control over boxes once our courier services pick them up. On our end we did let you know that we would be happy to issue you store credit, so you can use that on another order or since you did not like the clothing you received you could pick out your own items in our Out of the Box store. We completely understand your frustration and we will be sure to also share this feedback with UPS. We appreciate you giving us a try with your first box and hope you enjoy using your store credit!

I was excited to receive my first box. Much to my surprise, the stylist wasn't even close and the clothes were very cheap. I returned and asked for a refund same day as I had no interest in trying it again. CS kept telling me they did not give refunds, only exchanges. WTF… it was the same day. Anyway I complained several times and they finally agreed to give me a refund but charged me a $40 restocking fee. Ain't about the money, just don't do it.

We're sorry to hear that things didn't work out, Chris. As previously mentioned via email, a significant portion of your profile was missing, where members are asked to share more detailed feedback such as opt out items, opt out colors, the Let Us Get to Know You section, etc. Our team simply worked with the little information they had, which in your case was unfortunately just sizing. We did offer a consultation call to go over the missing information as well as requested photos of items you'd like to receive seeing as we provided business and casual items as selected in your profile so we weren't really sure where the mark was missed. The exception was made to issue a partial refund and that cost ultimately covered the time spent on selecting items based off the information you provided and to cover the cost of rerouting an exchange that had already been fulfilled and shipped. We pride ourselves in employing real stylists and not relying on algorithms. We wish you the best. Take care.

I signed up for the "Presidential Plan". Had a phone call with a stylist. First box arrived and stylist missed the mark. The sizing of the clothing runs extremely small. The quality of the clothing is like that of a suit Wearhouse 2 for 40$ type of place. Stanley marks the clothes a high price but then you get a "deal" with the subscription. After first box was received; I did need to make some exchanges. Had another phone call with a stylist, she missed the mark, then had to do a third exchange for a few items. Disappointing. Scam. The marketing is good because it makes you think you'll get some quality items. But I should know by now one gets what they pay for.

I recently made an online purchase of the Presidential Box from Stately, and I couldn't be more disappointed with the entire experience. The clothes I received were of shockingly low quality and very random styles. It was almost like I received a pile a clothes that retailers couldn't sell and just threw away.

My disappointment only deepened when I attempted to return the items. To my dismay, the company's return policy was not only restrictive but downright unfair. Instead of a straightforward return process, they insisted on offering an exchange – but only if I paid for the return shipping myself.

This felt like adding insult to injury. Not only did I receive substandard merchandise, but I was also expected to incur additional costs just to rectify their mistake. It's unacceptable that I, as a customer, should bear the financial burden for a product that did not meet the promised standards.

Attempts to communicate with their customer service team were met with indifference and a lack of empathy. It's clear that Stateley prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction, leaving me stuck with a pile of unwearable clothes and a significant dent in my wallet.

I strongly caution anyone considering a purchase from Stately. Save yourself the frustration, disappointment, and extra expenses by exploring more reputable options with transparent return policies. I certainly won't be giving them a second chance, and I hope others learn from my unfortunate experience.

Not great quality materials or brands. Most shirts have loose threads or the material is very thin/flimsy. You'll have two pairs of pants that are the same size and cut and have drastically different fit. There is no vetting any of the outfits beforehand, so you're left guessing what you will get. On the first box, I only really liked one of the shirts, a black button down. I left handwritten notes as well as emailed all my feedback. They asked me to send everything back so they could try again. When they sent the second box, the message starts off "We know you didn't like that black button down shirt, so we won't send you any more of those." Umm what? Second box had two items I didn't mind, and in setting up an exchange it looks like I'll pay for shipping back. Whatever they end up sending me (who knows?!?) I'll probably just keep it and eat the cost of anything I don't like because I don't want to keep paying for shipping for them to guess what I would like. You are way better off going to a store and having someone help you put together an outfit, or just copy off a mannequin outfit you like. Better to have one or two pieces you love and high quality than guess on whatever flimsy stuff their algorithm decides to put together.

I talked to Errika and she gave me a return slip to send back the things that didn't fit, im waiting now to see of she actually will take them back and send me an update on the things I corrected, I ordered the "Lux", expensive, bit hope it'd well worth the wait, I'll return with what happens and what choice did I make as to stay with this company or not

Some of its ok

I do t feel the style of clothing g recieved is as nice as the advertised sets they show to draw you in. My last order they charged me $55ea for 2 shirts that are from super basic brands that were probably $10ea and a pair of no name canvas shoes that they charged more than the worth. They say you get $600 in clothes for $300 but the order I got today was about $150-$200 in worth. I'm going g to cancel. I can get better prices on my own.

Stately certainly sounded promising, but I ultimately ended up returning 5/7 items in Box 1...and then ALL the items in Box 2 (either they didn't fit, were not my style, and one item had a small hole in it). The customer service folk were very nice, but at the same time they refuse to show you options of what they want to send...it's just a roll of the dice and I'm likely going to be on my third round of returns. In terms of quality of clothing, I'd put it on par with what you might find at Costco (in fact I'm pretty sure they do sell some of these brands at Costco). Hoping this gets better, but so far it's been a disappointment and not a company I can wholeheartedly recommend.
