You'll find yourself lost on a site that you can't navigate around if your looking for anything specific. You have to be suspicious of a site that offers rewards for members if they follow other members. How absurd is that?. And a dead give away that it really is a money spinning sham. Don't waste your money

StarNow, being a full member (Hopefully Pro Soon) ehem :D I can tell you and provide you with work that STARNOW has brought great things in to my life and achieved things that i thought i would have never accomplished before. Its not all about money i did jobs that was no pay ans did jobs that was with great pay, had met some amazing people on sets and made a great group of friends. I have been on the new VAUXHALL car advert, i am currently being featured for a major big movie through maddogcasting once again through the starnow website. Easy and simple to use, feels safe and friendly. You can learn and gain a lot and when/if help is needed, staff at Star Now are quick to resolve it for you. I wouldn't ask for more of a better platform, really is a good site and I'm happy to have joined as a member

I Have had a lot of great work through Starnow, Paid work and lots of castings, I find the site is professionally run and i DONT feel like im getting ripped off by subscription fee's as i get a lot of use from the site. As an independent researcher for national media i also use it to find true-life stories and has a lot of successful stories published thanks to star now.and will always be a member of the Starnow family.

We needed actors for our band's music video in Australia. Starnow was awesome to find talent. We interviewed everyone on skype. Found 6 actors we thought were awesome. Hired them, shot the clip. All worked out perfectly :)

I signed up to star now years ago, but only as a basic member. I vaguely remember paying for something but then I cancelled it a few months later. Recently I went into my bank account to find they have stolen £29 odd from my account! Basic members don't pay! I recommend not giving any bank details to these thieving ba*****s, It is fraud! And I will be taking this further.

Out of all the auditions sites I would say StarNow is by far the best. They actually check to make sure the jobs are real & they have way more than any of the others I'm a member of. I know they have been around for over 10 years and I follow them on Twitter where they post urgent paid jobs which is great for me as I'm super busy with University and only want paid extra work.
My mate got an agent from StarNow & their customer service is pretty quick (especially if you tweet)

I can not believe these people are still in business. I signed up for an account last week... Poor me. I didn't do my research until now...
I ended up signing for a basic profile and they still charged my card for a full membership fee of 28.54$
The companies that sign up with their sight are not verified... Starnow considers a companies that posts on their site to be verified if they provide a website link - Just because a company has a website does not mean they are legit and reputable - do your research.
I sent them an email explaining that I never signed up for a full membership profile... Just the basic - which should be free.
They are not clear about their terms and they charge an unnecessary admin fee of 2.50$.
Avoid and use a free site!

STARNOW is a scam. Avoid it. They take your money and then close your account.
I'm disabled and had someone that spent a whole night harassing me and when I reported them I got banned. Apparently some bogus casting director can harass you with unwanted, offensive and annoying messages but if you tell them to go away or tell them you will report them if they don't stop, the site classes that as harassment and threatening behaviour and take your money and ban you!
It's a 6 month recurring subscription you can't just join for a month and see if they are legitimate. It's a lot of money to lose and it goes through Paypal so you have no chance to get your money back. A SCAM!
A lot of the so called 'castings' are run by pervs or porn merchants or people that will take your money on the promise of a job that doesn't exist. Most are student projects and amateurs but you never find that out until you turn up on set. You can waste a lot of time and money. AVOID!
I VISITED STARNOW.COM AND THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE AN INTERESTING WAY OF GETTING WORK AS A MODEL. HOWEVER THE ABUSE I EXPERIENCED WAS NOT ANYWHERE NEAR A PROFESSIONAL WAY OF DOING BUSINESS. THEY DON'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR AGENTS CONTACTING MEMBERS, I WAS CALLED A VARIETY OF NAMES - TOTAL WASTE OF TIME DON'T LET THEM 'RIP' YOU OFF. CASTING NOW IS ANOTHER COPYCAT SITE. DON'T BELIEVE THEM OR THEY WILL TAKE YOUR IDEAS AND MAKE MONEY OUT OF IT FOR THEMSELVES.
