I joined Starnow because my agent had retired. I initially had a panic moment as to what I was going to do. That's when I searched online and found your site.

At first I was a bit skeptical and researched Starnow for a few weeks before joining. Like most sites there were varying reviews, but most were positive, which led to me becoming a member.

Before the week was out I secured my first booking. That has continued over the course of my membership to the point I have put off getting a new agent at this point.

I now promote the site on a regular basis to anyone I know in the performing arts fields. Of course you need to work the site, but once you set all your filters it just a matter of applying for each job then negotiating fees if they are too low.

I am very lucky to be versatile and have had a very long career, which now is continuing because of your site. So thanks to everyone involved. It has been a great relationship thus far!

I have been with StarNow since their first year. Over those 14 years I have attended loads of auditions and appeared on several TV shows as a participant and as a game show contestant. I have even come third place on 'Ant and Dec's Poker Face' and won £9,500! I recently appeared in my very own episode of 'Olivia Buckland's (Bowen) 'Second Chance Dresses' and thanks to this amazing journey which started with StarNow, I was able to buy a fantastic wedding dress and feel incredible on my wedding day. I have found the staff team members that I have encountered to be supportive and friendly. I look forward to another 14 years with StarNow as my next goals are to get a presenter role and maybe a few extra roles in a film. With StarNow anything is possible. My 'even better if' (EBI) suggestions would be that: The 'Community Page at the very bottom of the page which offers a community notice board is a brilliant idea but could do with being a bit more visible maybe down one side of the page, rather than at the very bottom. I posted an opportunity there and I'm not sure many people have seen it, or been able to find it. Knowing how many views the ad had would also be very useful. The fact that I could post an ad on the site for a small fee was awesome as the reach is global. I would also welcome an opportunity to social with other members at maybe an annual event, like a Christmas Dinner and Dance to continue networking and to celebrate the achievements of the StarNow Family.

I took a free trial to see hows the website for a month, and boom there goes R320 off my cheque card yesterday. *I never signed up to be a full member, *i never gave authority to take money from my account, which in my eyes i feel its fraud. They dont email you to ask if you want full subscribtion, they just take you money. Let me quote the email.

Got charged a recurring payment 6 months after I signed up and completely forgot about. They dont send reminders! I requested a refund and cancellation within an hour of the charge. Got a generic response saying it was not possible. I asked to speak to a manager and gave them my phone number (as we cant call them). Finally the CCO emailed be back. I found her response to be partly irrelevant, passive aggressive and sarcastic. She invited me to email her back if I had any further questions, which I did, requesting a refund out of courtesy and good business practice. No response. To me, this is basically theft. Dont use this company which you cannot easily contact and has zero respect for their customers.

Their staff are rude and unhelpful. They changed their site so that now you sign up for a monthly subscription, however this is AFTER they changed their site. Now loads of people have complained and said "Why am I being charged!?" and they claim the site always made that clear. It does now, it didn't before. Call them out on this and they'll piss their pants and refund you like they did with me.

Oh and one more thing... I started off by asking if it would be possible to get a full refund and cancel my account. What do they do? Refuse to give a refund (at first) and then delete my account even though I had three more months of membership left... of the 4 morons I spoke to, none of them could grasp the stupidity.

I've been registered with StarNow Australia for a few years, in addition to having an agent. I work professionally, predominantly as an actor, and have secured a number of roles through StarNow. In fact the highest paid television commercial I've done was through a StarNow ad. I'm also a producer and casting agent, and I have secured actors easily for my productions.

I joined StarNow back in the day and have found the company to be - in my opinion - the best site for both aspiring and fully professional working artists. My company has discovered a wealth of talent via StaNow and some have gone on to great things. One of the nicest things I have personally found is the fact I have made many good friends over the years with StarNow - I regularly receive news of their progress from America, New Zealand, Australia and of course Europe and the UK. Keep up your stirling efforts on behalf of the artists of today and tomorrow StarNow - long may you reign supreme for us all in the wonderful life we all call Show Business.

I got in contact with StarNow via email as I needed some advice. To be honest I wasnt expecting any assistance any time soon, as is often the case with big companies these days, but StarNow responded to me within the hour. By anyones standards in todays climate, that is beyond impressive. They were understood my query and were swift to give advice and reassurance.

Remember as this company is based in another country depending upon the time you post a query will depend on their time - but they will be sure to answer. Incredible service. I feel more assured. Thank you StarNow. Psyche x

Hi. I randomly decided to take a plunge and look into applying for shows. Acting. Singing etc. ive no experience only in modelling. I accidently came across Starnow site. Filled in the application and in after applying for a few posts. I was suddenly narrowed to go on a cruise. Be a singer for a short film. Asked to go on an itv show etc. in just a week my confidence level had reached a high. Positions I applied for thinking I wouldn't get. I was then offered to go for audition. This site is professional. Get response quickly and who knows what will happen next. Certainly worth a go. Thanks guys;-)

They will take your money and cancel you account. 95% of "jobs" are non paying. In fact it will cost YOU money to be in these amateur productions. They will set up an automatic deduction from your account and then argue about it if you question their integrity. Read all of the fine print on their website! You will still waste your money buy at least you will know why. They are so money grubbing that they would rather keep your $49 than have satisfied customers. For them it is money for nothing and they don't give a damn about you.
If you don't want any paying work and want to lose some (lots) of MONEY then sign up today. But if you have more than half a brain sign up to a decent site.
