Starbucks Reviews Summary

Starbucks enjoys a strong reputation for its diverse product offerings and the quality of its coffee, with many customers appreciating the cozy ambiance and loyalty programs. However, significant concerns have been raised regarding inconsistent service quality, with reports of unhelpful staff, service delays, and poor customer support. Issues with order accuracy and dissatisfaction with pricing have also emerged, leading some customers to seek alternatives. Overall, while Starbucks remains a favored choice for many coffee enthusiasts, there is a clear need for improvement in customer service and product consistency to enhance the overall experience.

If only more affortable
September 18, 2017

Deserts aren't always wow but coffee is good so if only their prices were cheaper. Love their new program for giving away food to the soup kitchens and stuff like that.

Awesome
July 23, 2017

I have gone into my neighborhood Starbucks since the day it opened and I still go 3 to 4 times a week. The manager is outstanding and the baristas are so helpful. I am handicapped and they make sure I sit in the handicapped table and take whatever I have ordered to me where I am sitting. My drink is custom and they make it perfect everytime.

I called Starbucks Corporation and I asked them about the newest star Dash. It says make nine purchases and earn 200 stars. So I make four purchases at one time and they say no that's not what it means you can't have a check mark for each of those you have to make nine different trips!

That's not what it said it said to make nine purchases and earn 200 stars. When I repeated this to her she just kept on arguing I told her I don't argue with anyone and the fact remains the fact. This in no way makes any sense.

Plus this ignorant girl keeps me on hold for 5 minutes and 36 seconds just to come back on the phone and tell me that her supervisor said that they agreed with her.

They refused to give me the five checkmarks that I earned they would only give me two for the two visits that I made to their stores, I don't believe that I will be going there very much after this, since I was treated very badly.

My review just about Starbucks ice coffee.
I bought 2 iced coffee, and a few minutes later we have a half glass of ice in every glass. So, you received just half glass coffee and another half - an ice.
I'm not satisfied to buy $2.47 for ice (one coffee costs $4.93).

So many people talking about them, but it's only coffee, you don“t need this for status.
I've had better coffee in my local coffee shop and it was even cheaper.

Dedicated Starbucks addict here, but just like the quality of your drink can different depending on the barista that makes it, your quality of service when it comes to any issue that customer service helps you with can differ. You will always get a response within 24 hours, which is very nice, and generally you get the help you desired, which is even nicer.

Employees are allowed to refuse to put a name on the cup if they don't like the name; ie Trump. Starbucks says that it is not required to put names on cups or call out names when your order is ready. The problem is that if a person asks for Trump the employee can refuse to take the name or can even refuse the person service. Then the manager is allowed to call the police with a smirk on his face. I understand if they don't put any names on the cups, but not calling out a name when your order is ready? So, just set a bunch of cups on the counter & have the customers find their own orders.
Also, using Santa on your commercials & have him going around telling out "Happy Holidays." If you don't want to advertise Christmas, then don't put Christmas symbols on your commercials & ads.

Customer service
May 25, 2016

I come to work at 5a.m. And I stop at a 24 Starbucks to get a coffee. On this particular morning I stopped by to order a small Blonde with soy milk and the lady said in a rude voice you mean tall blonde I said to her small Blonde she rung me up I'm about to give her my money she walked away to the back of the store, next thing I know another girl come out to register asked what I wanted I just told her small Blonde with soy milk, she like it's called tall instead of small so I said you mean she got mad just because I said small really. Everybody do not know what tall mean at Starbucks I know small, medium and large. You just don't walk away from a customer, who is trying to pay(I mean I had my money in hand, in mid air giving it to her she just walked away.) Customer service, really you need to be retrained or find another job. I'm coming in to work that early in the morning I don't need that nasty attitude.

Website stinks
May 11, 2016

Coffee is good, but website stinks. I know I entered the correct password, I signed in just yesterday, tried again still failed, so I followed the instructions to change password from my email account, it says password change successful, but site still says "sign in unsuccessful". Same thing happened months ago, now I can't log in again, so frustrating. They should hire the Dunkin Donuts IT team.

Want a cup of regular coffee at 5:45pm on a Saturday outing with the family at the largest coffee shop in the world? Well DO NOT go to Starbucks, they don't serve coffee at that time of the day due to cost effectiveness per one of their employees in a Houston Texas Starbucks shop. Kind of counter productive if you ask me not to mention poor company strategy. I suggest of you want coffee at any time day or night Dunkin Donuts has great hot and cold coffee. Most are open 24/7 and if not they DEFINITELY serve coffee till close because THEY'RE A COFFEE SHOP! Imagine that!

Here's the skinny (gotta love a coffee joke this early in the morning) on Starbucks.com
I'm a Washington girl, love my iced coffee so sugary that it no longer resembles or tastes like coffee.
We use gold cards at Starbucks but reload them online through starbucks.com The process is super simple and user friendly (that's always a plus when hopped up on a $5.93 coffee). There is one thing that I DON'T like about the card site and that's the hunt and pluck method one must use in order to find the option to transfer from one card on your account to another card on your account (reload my gold card and transfer funds to my midget's green card). Once you find it, it's super easy and takes all of 10 seconds, BUT it takes a few minutes to find it.
The online customer support when you have an issue in store if usually quick and very helpful and understanding. I've had to utalize them a couple of times and each resolution was more than acceptable.
Overall, great customer service, informational website without too many bells and whistles, functional, and quick.

Starbucks sold 2 gift cards worth $250 each to a person with a fraudulent credit card. That thief then sold them to Cardpool.com. I bought them from Cardpool.com and transferred the money to my Limited Edition Steel Card. Today Starbucks cancelled that LE card and made it so that I could not use it while they investigate. Cardpool.com refunded me in full within 2 hours. No complaint there. My complaint is that Starbucks sold a thief gift cards and now they have a chargeback on their hands. That is not my fault. That happens in business. Why would Starbucks hold my card hostage now? It is just a card, it has no money on it anymore. They will gladly load my other cards I have on file, with my credit cards I have on file, but not the steel one. It just does not make sense. Customer service at Starbucks says there is no timetable for their investigation. Cardpool.com refunded me $430.00 without batting an eyelash, but Starbucks cant release a gift card with no money on it? It is a knee jerk reaction, and no one is thinking it through. I expect more from Starbucks, a 32 Billion dollar company. Unbelievable.
