Any payment I'm expecting is a headache to even receive.
I have it set up for instant transfer But I struggle for up to 3-4 hrs minimum and typically have to go to support to even access my funds. Square has been the one program I have to fight with in order to get my money.
After speaking with a total of 6 representatives for one issue, actually getting frustrated with about 3 of them, and just saying forget it I'll call back. Realizing that they Have No Clue of what they are doing, I was finally able to reach the last representative. He was actually able to help us out and it was only 2 steps to achieve what we had been trying to get through for weeks. I am upset with myself that I didn't get the last representatives name, so I could sing his praises. You guys need to hire people who understand your Square Up systems and don't have you doing things that are unnecessary.
Scammed me for $49 and nothing but computer-generated responses. Took my money, no items received, and no customer service of no kind. Go do business with a reputable company

I have never made an account with this website yet it's taking my money... wth, ive tried multiple times to login into square yet am not even given the option to attempt to login on to their main page. This is despicable and evil
I switched to Square 2 months ago for payroll and collecting on my invoices. I am a medical billing company. 3 weeks after I opened the account and things were working fine my account was suspended. They asked me for more info which I provided. It took 2 weeks to clear up leaving me behind on payroll due to them holding my funds. Then a couple weeks pass again and it happens all over again. I called on 4 different occasions over 2 weeks all reps stating this would be taken care of and the account would be up and running in 2 days. All 4 times it never happened. They didn't care that they were holding $30,000 of mine and I had to pay my employees. I had to pay them out of my personal checking. Now today I got another email stating they terminated my account with no explanation. They still have not given me back my money. I have contacted a lawyer and will be suing Square for not only my $30,000 but for lost time and wages and all the trouble they have caused. DO NOT USE SQUAREUP.COM! I forgot to mention that when my customers would pay an invoice some as high as 12,000 and others as low as 200 square would take between 7-14 business days to release my money to me.
Been using it for 2 months and it's constant problems. Constant flags and holds on your money. I had 2 holds the same week for no reason. Also when you call customer service you speak to someone in Malaysia who you can barely understand. I switched to another merchant service. NEVER AGAIN!
Every advertisement says no monthly fee so I purchased a card reader. Downloaded an app and entered my information. It asks for additional areas you might be at so I put another address in. It then took all the information and said that I will be charged $60 a month for each address. So I immediately tried to go back and delete all information cause there's no way I'm paying that much. The app wouldn't allow me to go back and delete my information. It took the better part of the entire day before I was finally able to delete everything but now they keep sending me all sorts of junk
4x (3x with same client over 3 different occasions) $100s refunded to client after services and meds taken even with signed invoices and tracking numbers. Go with another service. Can't attach photos as it has the digital shoplifters info on it.

I have been using Square for several years recently I realize they have taken money from my account saying adjustment but when I called the customer service to find out what happen they don't have any explanation they keep on saying that somebody will call me from square but so far nobody has contacted me this has happened throughout the years I just realize it's thousands of dollars that they have taken from my account saying adjustments. I have a small business I have been depending on square for a long time but beware Because there's no explanation whatsoever for the amount that says adjustments I want to know where this money go but still nobody has replied me back
I do not recommend square. I have been calling for almost a month, 9 times now, with no progress. I can not transfer my money as my account in under review. A review that takes 1-2 days but going on 21 days. An now my balance shows zero dollars.
Law firms should not use. They will withdraw money from your account without telling you first. A client can lie and say they don't remember hiring attorney after work done and they return money. If yo send itemized bill and court documents they still keep the money.
I was a Weebly customer for many years and they were really good but once they sold to Square, forget it. They have bugs in their system that will cost you money (eg randomly not charging the customer shipping) and their customer support is worthless.
Square is withholding $2500 from me and has stolen from many small businesses! We all need to come together and get our funds back!
Claimed we had a disputed charge and that we had to prove that the charge was valid but could not tell us what charge was being disputed. This was from an old account that has been closed for years and from a business we no longer own.
We urge all business to learn from our mistakes. We needed to keep in step with the "times" and offer our customers a method to use their credit/debit cards in a convenient manner. Without researching we decided to use the Square. Long story short, read the reviews. Several of their customers have complained of their money "being held" until additional documentation was submitted. We have been waiting for two months for our money to be released. Even though they offer the ability to talk to a live person what they won't tell you is that each person will tell you the exact same story. Basically there is nothing they can do but will escalate your issue however, they have no way of communicating with the other department. So here we are two months our and still have not received our money. Have talked and called with no result just the same story. Avoid this company at all costs. Run don't walk away RUN! Learn from our mistakes.
I just phone square to ask about loyalty reward. I spoke with the customer representative from US, just a minute ago. Perhaps, she heard that I'm a Filipina, her tone was very rude. I'm unsure if I disturb her in her sleeping or she's in the bad mood. Perhaps, you don't need her at customer service. She's not friendly and her tone was rising up on me. All I want is just to recommend my friend who would like to purchase POS set. She didn't even try to understand my inquiry. I am a user of Square for more than 2 years now but this is my first time I encountered a customer service like her. SUCKS. I contacted *******000 for her to give me a $#*!ty attitude.
No wonder your stock is in the toilet! Switched to another platform. Constant problems with your software and then I have to waste my time calling customer service.
The money will sit there for a period of time and then will be considered abandoned funds and absorbed by the company.

I had been with them about 7 plus years never had a problem. All the sudden out of the blue I received an email that they deactivated my account saying I violated terms or there was suspicious activity there was none of that! They do not say anything to you or talk to you about it they just cancel you! Thank goodness I never kept a lot of money in that account because they will freeze it and hold it after they cancel you. I would advise you to transfer the majority of your money out of there because they will freeze everything you have. There rates suck and the customer service has always been trash. I tried to call to discuss what had happened and once they deactivate you all the sudden you can't get through so they don't even allow you to talk to anyone. This could be very bad if someone had thousands of Dollars in there account. Luckily my business has been using quickbooks which is way superior and the customer service is ten fold better. I plan to put a complaint everywhere I can from the BBB and on. Before you say but I've been with them for years so was I!
Answer: Square is a legit company, just a deeply unethical one that will leave you out to dry if they can get away with it. And they can get away with it.
Answer: No, I can't, because they're a garbage company that can't verify my identity, even with my SSN and repeated support requests, and refuses to even look at my ID. I would love to share a success story, too bad they won't let me have one.
