The average costume runs $45-$60. The choices are not too bad, but finding your size is unlikely. I thought I had a costume that would fit my son but the costumes run EXTREMELY small. I tried exchanging it for the right size but they were out of stock. I tried calling their 800 number, which is the only number available for all of the stores, to see if the other local (but further for me) store had the right size in stock and if they would exchange from a different store, and the phone lines were shut down despite it being open hours. I sure won't be back next year.
I ordered a Halloween costume from this company and have regretted it ever since. I paid for expresss shipping, it still took 24 days to get to me. When I reached out to ask about delays in shipping they notified me it was due to quality control. The costume that arrived was not what was pictured or described. Also, I ordered an Xl, according to their measurements, the pants were appropriately sized for an XL, the top was a small at best. Not to mention the material is cheap and see through, you get better quality for the same price at Party City! I reached out to return the item I ordered and they are refusing to refund my money. Stay as far away from this company as possible!

They sent me an item obviously severely damaged with a box cutter. Someone took it put it in a box and shipped it to me like it was no big deal. Never experienced such customer service in my life.

The costumes are over priced trash! They take your money and no return on torn broken crap costumes! Save your money and look good go anywhere but to this awful place. Never ever again will we purchase this trash!

By far worst customer service ever! On the 14th I placed a 2 day order. Received it yesterday, I asked for a medium and was sent a size so small it wont fit my kid. With in the 2 weeks I waited i sent several emails and fb messages and comments. Called and got no where. Now im 50$ out of money and my order summery sent was half done in ink and tbe rest is faded crap.

I bought an animatronic on 10/6/20 and it just arrived yesterday 10/22/20. The mechanics did not work so I followed the instructions for return which told me to go to the store. I got to the store and they said that they are no longer taking returns as of yesterday and said that my only recourse is to "wait" for a new mechanism to be delivered and had no idea when that would be. It is a shame that companies are allowed to swindle people like this without consequence. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this company. They are quick to take your money, but have no clue how to do the right thing. Sad.

I placed an order for my daughter's costume on. October 11th. Spirit said the costume would ship within 5 to 7 days. I called on the 20th (because I still have not received anything) the girl on the phone said she would have to call the warehouse to let them know of my order?! She would get back to me via email in 48 hours. Now today, October 23rd I still have nothing. My order still shows "in process". I guess with 2020 being the year it is, my daughter's first Halloween might as well be ruined too. Thanks Spirit for making this the worst Halloween. I will NEVER shop here again. **Update** I never received the order. When I called to check on it (for the 4th time) the costume was out of stock so they could not fulfill it anyway. Also have to add, they have horrible customer service.

The costume we received was obviously used. Had holes in the pant legs. The paw patrol patch was ripped off and scotch taped back on. More than disappointed. COMPLETELY GROSSED OUT! Full return and reimbursement would NEVER fix this. Places like this should be shut down.

Yeah STAY FAR AWAY! Ordered a costume on the 4th of October and paid for the expedited shipping but it has been 19 days but it has yet to ship... They said that it could take 15-25 days and they cant refund it because its in transit but it clearly said that the label has been printed but has yet to be sent out... don't waste your time or money

Update: USPS ended up delivering package just in time. So it took much longer to get and I never did get anyone on phone. But I did get what I ordered and it was great quality. Ordered on 12 Oct and paid extra for expedited shipping. Got the tracking number that day. USPS only tracked it for one day then it went into black hole. Can't get a USPS human on the phone to find the order, and same for Spirit Halloween. Been on hold for 30 minutes. Sent them email and no response. Costume is needed for a wedding so I'm pretty anxious and upset. People in wedding who ordered from other vendors at same time already have their costumes.

So if you don't have the card you used, you can't be refunded. And if you don't refund by a certain date you can't refund at all. Great practice stealing our money Spirit. I'll remember this for future, if ever, purchases. By the way, the item was damaged and unusable. Plus you're way over priced!

I ordered a costume for my son on Saturday, October 10th and paid for standard shipping and was quoted 6 business days of when I would receive this package. Today is October the 20th and I have yet to receive the costume I paid almost $60 for! When I look up the order to track the package, it shows 'in transit' with no location or estimated time of delivery. I called their customer service hotline today when they opened and waiting 20 minutes before speaking to a representative. She pulls up my order and proceeds to tell me it's in South Haven Mississippi and has been since last Thursday and that I should receive this by this coming weekend (I live in GA). This is UNACCEPTABLE and the fact she asked me when I needed this by was also ridiculous! For the money you pay, the shipping shouldn't be this big an issue. They use Fed-Ex, it shouldn't take 2 weeks to get a little child's costume. I will NOT be using Spirit Halloween again... lesson learned!
I ordered my sons costume online on 9-26-20 and still have not received my order on 10-16-30. I emailed twice and all they could say is they don't know when they will get the costume.?!?! What?! Aren't you a costume store? So until then, they wouldn't be able to tell when it would ship. I couldn't hold my breath so I asked for a refund. She said in 24 hours i'd get a notification for a refund, and I didn't even get that and it is now 10-20-20. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Shame on you spirit Halloween for this similar problem everyone is going through. You need to do something to fix this. Never again will I shop here.

I payed 36.99 for a costume and all I got was a very small mask and a robe that is huge. There was only 1 glove.

My other family was wearing a mask and the manger did not like the mask so she kicked them out. I do not thank that was ok.

I paid almost $30 for over night shipping this was on October 13th, today is the 16th still no package! Can't even track my package. I will be calling the better business place and 7 on your side. This place is a joke! And why can't I get a hold of anyone concerning my oreder?!

Preordered the delux sam pop a month ago. Was suppose to ship the 24th sept. Came and went and nothing. Meanwhile the pop is selling in their stores. Date was upped to the 30th. At first i thought no big deal. Then the 30th came and went, still nothing. I stay patient for another TWO weeks and still nothing.
Sent an email, they basically said their waiting for stock and will ship when it ships. Meanwhile many others are just going in store and buying them this entire time, posting photos of shelves filled with them. Other people calling and hearing they have tons sitting around their stores. What the hell?!
NOW once they got the stock, suddenly their system breaks and everybody's having card issues. I sent in an email days ago to cancel my order so that i can reorder (cheaper with coupon this time) and nothing. Had to go shake down their twitter page and despite them saying its canceled the order is still marked "in process." which makes me very uneasy. Now i fear having to deal with two orders possibly being charged because it seems the company sure as hell don't give a damn.
And not to mention they LOVE doing hold charges. So don't be surprised if you see a holding charge EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. On your card! This has the worst preorder ive ever delt with and will never order online from them again!

I ordered an animotronic from them and three weeks later it hasnt arrived. I have left multiple emails and voice mails but no one every answers. Its going to be great to get a scary halloween decoration after halloween. Christmas will look nice with a frightening clown to bring in the holiday cheer. Furthermore, the quality on these are terrible. They usually break within a couple of weeks. I would avoid them at all costs if possible

Ordered a costume nice and early just to make sure it got here in time, was quoted 4 to 10 business days. I am on day 11 and the order still says "in process" customer service in new person everytime so I get nowhere. I should have read reviews before I made my purchase.

I've emailed no answers!... I've tried to chat online... it always says we're not available... I've tried to talk to them through Facebook... NOTHING! I've called been put on hold for an hour then disconnected! Now I'm calling and I'm on hold! This is ridiculous! Where is my damn order I spent 280.00 on!
