Buyer Beware
October 2, 2015

I ordered a lift chair, to be delivered white gloves. They charged my credit card the day I made the purchase. Then not another word for nearly two months. I called and they would not give me a delivery date. I cancelled my order and they charged me a restocking fee for a product that was never sent.

Please, please, save yourself the aggravation, and financial loss of dealing with this company. What ever you order from them you may never receive. I also had my credit card hacked shortly after ordering from them.

The exhaustion and often pain that goes along with disease and disability is enough to deal with. Whether we are continuing to work, with all that entails, or dealing with the loss of a work identity, We do not need more stress and problems from companies to which we have paid good money for items which are supposed to help us in our daily lives. (Often extremely LARGE amounts of money are in play between insurance payments and copayments.)

Spinlife has been horrible to work with. My father in law purchased a chair with a white glove delivery to have them install and setup the chair for a total of $1500. He had emphysema and COPD. The chair broke in about a month and a reset would fix it by unplugging and replugging the electrical interface. The device failed after about 2 months and we started to contact Spinlife to resolve the issue. We called March 3,2015 to have the chair repaired as we were in the in the warranty period easily. Well it is July 24th and we have not received any sort of corrective action. We have called in at least 15 times and received oh yes, it is on the way and we will refund you completely, but this company does not support their products! They are a awful company. Please do not order anything from them as they will not support you in any way. My father in law died while waiting for this company to fix his chair. Just another sad story where Spinlife needs to stop taking advantage of older people and start supporting the people that have purchased from them. My family and friends will all hear of my experience and will never do business with this Den of Vipers again. Sincerely, Dan Smith -ROANOKE, VA

I purchase the Breezee S4 Mobility Scooter and was inform by the salesman that my scooter would be assemble when receiving it. It was not what so ever. Been trying since March to get them to find out what was wrong with it since I only get 3.8 miles on a half charge. I was informed that I have to pay for the tech to come and look at my scooter. They finally rd me I get a free tech t h e g first time. I paid 6,500.00 for this scooter. It been 5 months and still does not work right. I feel this salesman took me for big time. This is my transportation and I can not go anywhere.

Even though there prices are great compared to other location companies, their company service sucks. The white glove service is not worth the money you pay for. I ordered a lift chair for my mom in the nursing home. The chair was within 10 miles of her location, once it was delivered to the white glove company. It took the White Glove service an additional 2 to 3 weeks before they ever delivered the chair to her. Now the chair is less than 6 months old. It is stuck in an upright position. I called to make a service call on it. I was told I would hear something within 24 to 48 hours. I am 1 1/2 weeks later and still havent heard from them. Nothing has been scheduled. So now my mother is stuck either staying in her bed, or in a wheel chair 24 x 7.

White glove service means different things to different people. To me it means faster better service. To SpinLife it means it'll take a while before you see your stuff, we won't tell you when it's coming, and we're actually a little bothered that you called us. You can do better than this outfit.

Hi once again, getting older begins to take its hold on my walking and it is getting harder and harder to get around. I have come to the conclusion that I need a vehicle now to get around. I went to this site called Spinlife.com and purchased a scooter so I can get around. When the scooter arrived it had everything I needed to get around and it is easy to take a part. The heaviest part I believe is 32 pounds. The scooter breaks down to 5 pieces and the battery is good for 15 miles, it really lasts long. Once I showed everyone how to break down the scooter everyone wanted to put it together and take it a part. The scooter costs around $680.00 I believe, go and look at the site, you can change the color from maroon to blue if you want or change it back the colors came with the scooter. I love it and it lets me get around, it has everything you need to get around, trust me, the price is right and the vehicle is sturdy seems long lasting. If you need to get around this is the place to look, why rent all the time when you can buy it at a reasonable price. Bye bye for now. Stuart

Horrible service
May 15, 2013

Horrible service. Ordered a power chair for my mother. The "white glove" service delivered it without any notice and left it at the nursing home without telling us. Did not work out and tried to return it for several weeks. Credit card used to purchase was hacked ( Spinlife and 2 other places only bussinesses where card used, no other purchases on line). They would only refund to the clossed account.

Frustrated because Spinlife sent the wrong tire size for a wheelchair when they had the correct model number. I took the tires for installation, which took some time to arrange, to be told that the tires were incorrect. However, I had them 2 days longer than the 30 day return time and Spinlife would not take them back. I also had bought 2 tubes, but neither lasted more than a few days because of a defect causing both to explode at about the same spot. Spinlife did not respond to this either. $50 wasted.

My husband is 55 and has early onset Parkinsons', He recently purchased a wheelchair from Spinlife.com. He had only had it for 2 days when the back wheel locked. The service provider, a different company from Spinlife told him it would take 5-7 business days to have someone come out and access the problem. This service provider, Pride Mobility Corp, then called to say they were sending a part out (How did they know what part to send when no one had looked at the wheelchair to see what was wrong and why a new part for a supposedly new wheelchair?) and the tech would call us when it arrived. When days passed with no word I called Pride Mobility Corp to find out the part had not even been sent yet. I said it didn't make sense to keep waiting for a part we were not even sure was what the chair needed. After some discussion the customer service rep said the tech would come out and access the chair. After more hoop jumping, the tech came and said the left motor was malfunctioning. Again, this is a new chair. The tech also advised us to order the new part and wait for it because he said he has seen people wait months for replacement chairs. Understand, my husband has gone over two weeks without the chair he has already paid for and needs to get to his job. Since most people ordering wheelchairs need them for safety and quality of life issues I want to warn people about shopping at this online site.
