My story is no different than all the other complaints. Stole my money and belongings
Company will not return my calls

Three guys showed up and moved everything out in just an hour! They were cautious with our belongings and covered furniture that needed extras-protection. They also had to park on our steep incline street with no complaints or issues. They moved everything from NY to a storage area in KS quickly and efficiently! I would recommend them!

Professional, hardworking, sincere, and quick. Very fair with their service and cost-wise competitive. Recommended!

Fantastic service. Two guys showed up with a large truck and were quick but careful with the move. While moving the oversized couch, one of the halfway walls was scratched, and the moving company took care of it for us. Give these guys a call- you won't be disappointed.

The three guys who showed up worked fast and hard. The movers disassembled and reassembled a few pieces of our more oversized furniture. No damages to any of our stuff. Overall, it was a great experience. Their quote and pricing were transparent, and they offered a nice discount for paying in cash. I would recommend them to anyone!

Gave a date to move my mom who is 71. Never showed up or gave a call. Asked for a refund on the deposit and was unwilling to return it. Very sloppy and unprofessional Scam artist. If you are dumb enough to believe the positive review written by their employees and you use them. You deserve what you get

Very professional and time conscious. I was updated throughout the journey. Great job. No complaints. I will recommend it.

I called to try and cancel but they will not refund my money last week. Then I changed my dates, and no call no show after I was told 2 x' s that the movers would be here in 30 min. NO Show, NO Call, so they are in Breach of Contract and I will get my deposit back. They do not take CC they said, so BOA will go after their $#*! for no service and will contact the Attorney General as well. I have on 1 day to get out of my condo that was sold, and they could care less. DO NOT USE!

Alex and Mike were our movers. They were punctual. They were cautious with all of your belongings, wrapped our TVs, and took caution when moving our furniture. There were no hidden fees. Alex was beneficial when I called to inquire about the cost. I would use them again when/if we move in the future. Thanks, Southern Guarantee Moving and Storage!

This was simple and amazing. Brilliant service from start to end. 5 star! Will use these amazing guys again.

They were meticulous, very polite, and efficient. Nothing broke, and we moved significantly from one place to another. They took care of wrapping up furniture and removing shelves etc. The guy in the office answered all our queries and was very clear on pricing, which I appreciated. I have used them three times already. Will use them again if needed.

These guys are GOOD! They are hardworking, accommodating, AND pleasant to work with. Highly recommended.

They picked my stuff on 18th June and first day of delivery was 24 June. I am still waiting for my stuff to be delivered from more than 1 month.

I am living in empty house from last more than 1 month with my 2 small kids and in a very frustrating situation.

They don't give any tentative date for my delivery as well

I have done contract with them to move from Tennessee to NC only 540 miles. They keep saying that my stuff is in Georgia public storage.

I am extensively following up from last 2 weeks with them and they are not helping to expedite.

I advice to think 1000 times before doing any contract with this company.

BEWARE! We are moving my parents to Fl. We signed a binding moving est. On 4/25/22. We were given our list of items (51 pc) for a certain price. We were asked to wait until 7/22 to move bc they already have a delivery in the area.
A week before we received an email stating our move was scheduled for 7/22 & we would receive a call on 7/21. NOPE! We did not receive a call the morning of p/up. When we called customer service, they would say the driver would call us shortly. We waited all day. At 7:30pm, we received a call from the driver. He stated that they just received the request from S. G. Moving & he would not be able to pickup the items until late afternoon on 7/23. Because the new home owners were scheduled to move in on 7/23, we had to move my parents items to the garage & driveway. The driver finally arrived at 5pm. At the time of signing our contract, we were not told of a 3rd party driver.
As they started to load the items on the truck, we realized they had no moving blankets. They only came with wrap. My parent's furniture is wrapped in plastic with no blankets. In addition, they start talking about cu. F. I told them this did not apply to us because we have a set amount. This is when we learned of the scam the company was running. The amount ended up costing $4K over quote. They can't tell us when they will arrive. We were told in April it would be door to door (F-M). Another lie!
When I called to complain about the additional fees & delivery, I was told this company was not Amazon. They had no projection time of delivery. I mentioned the door/door promise. He told me that employee was let go. He said he wasn't responsible for the additional cost. I asked for the owners' name. He said; "you don't go to Chilis & get the owner's name". I asked for his boss' name, he hung up. There is no way they can be rated a 2.73. Moving multiple times in the military and this is the worst. The employee indicated their business is "just fine". I am not sure how?

In addition to being kind, they were also very effective. These guys were early by 10 mins, and the total bill was also less than estimated! Recommended.

If there was a zero star rating, they would be a negative 100. Today, I registered a complaint with the Department of Transportation/Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the Federal Trade Commission, Florida State Attorney's Office, Texas State Attorney's Office, Maryland State Attorney's Office, and Crockett National Bank. They are officially being investigated by all of the above. They have broken approximately 30 federal laws and I don't know how many state and local laws. We had an unmarked truck with fake TX temporary tags affixed over permanent metal plates. Where I don't know since we didn't look under the fake plates. They represented themselves as an agent for Allied Moving Vans but sent a truck from a moving company that doesn't even operate in TX. If you look at their webpage "about us", there is no mention of them being a broker unless you look at the very bottom of the page where it's neatly hidden with contact information, etc. Fortunately, we didn't let the movers take our belongings. We even had a friend who is a former Green Beret show up and lay down his pistol on our kitchen table to give the driver a message. Apparently, those who serve in the military are subject to being defrauded by these companies on a regular basis. They even withdrew money ACH from my checking account a couple of hours after I fired them. It was a deposit for an item not even listed on their inventory of my house belongings. I could go on and on about the many misrepresentations by the company, but trust me when I state that they are going down, criminal charges will occur, and they will be shut down. There is no way possible that this company can survive after I'm done with them. They messed with the wrong person and one that has connections. Once again, the aforementioned are just a sampling of the many improprieties for which Southern Guarantee Moving will have to answer for in a court of law. If you are going to be a thief, be a good one and know what you are doing. They are so arrogant they have no clue what's coming their way.

A superb team arrived on time at both ends and worked hard to move my stuff quickly but carefully. Their service was a reasonable price, making moving a relaxed experience. No hesitation or reservation at all in recommending them.

The great degree of professionalism shown in dealing with us and managing the products left an impression on us. We are ecstatic with how the goods were moved, delivered, and put together at the destination. Regards, guys!

These guys were fantastic. They were very professional, wrapped the furniture well, and got everything to our friend's house without a problem. Recommend this company!
