Expensive doesn't always equal "you get what you pay for". I ordered a throw blanket with bright gold stars on it and while the design on society6 looked high resolution and bright, the item I received was blurry and more bronze and burnt yellow than gold. I didn't bother with the refund - I wouldn't get back shipping costs or taxes and I would have to pay to ship it back myself. This equaled to half of what I paid for it. If you shop here, just be careful. Not all artist are equal and not all their items will be equal either - I've ordered stuff that I've loved but this most recent time made me regretful of my $70 purchase (plus shipping).
Purchases a backpack for my son, it said "GET IT BY MONDAY" so I paid the ridiculous shopping fee with the promise I would "GET IT BY MONDAY" it didn't come, it came late and WAS THE WORST QUALITY of any backpack I've ever seen. Should have just bought a $5 one from WALMART. Then try to return it and THEY refuse to admit that they were wrong in
Telling me that I would get it by MONDAY & that I forgot to take in account PROCESSING. So I was apparently supposed to ADD 3 more day to the "GET IT BY DATE". The costumer service person was only available through EMAIL. Can not FIND A PHONE # to call. HE WAS so rude & condescending like I was the one at FAULT. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I've never left a review before but this company deserves to be seen for what they truly are! BE AWARE- NO CUSTOMER SERVICE % = RED FLAG!
The print they delivered was color dot matrix quality not lithograph. To their credit, they issued a full refund quickly when contacted. Although I appreciate their responsiveness, I would not order a print from them again.
I bought an item from Society6 over 12 days ago and I still haven't received it. Do not order from this company unless you don't mind waiting and waiting and waiting.
I ordered two pillows. The pillowcases that arrived were half the size of the pillows.
They told me oversize is normal and to send them measurements and pics.
I sent both.
Then they told me the measurements had to be done with a cloth tape measure which I do not have and issues me a very partial refund.
The pillow and pillowcase measurements are so off.
Disappointed in Society6 for deliberate misleading description of product. The designs are Gorgeous, and it seemed worth the wait to get one. However, the phone case sold for iPhone13 does not fit this phone! The opening for camera is entirely too small, does not accommodate the iPhone13 lenses in width or depth. So I wasted time and money on this. They do not give full refund, even when they sold a product that they must know doesn't fit the phone they advertise it for. Silly way to do business. Very disappointed. Beware, and don't buy phone cases from Society6 unless you have a old phone model.
You must post at least a 4 star review or they will not publish it. The prints I received were much darker than the website indicated and the artists website. I am familiar with this artist and her color palette so I was surprised. I can understand some color difference but as you can see from the photo it is extreme. Picture shown is held up to my monitor which is high definition and calibrated as I am a graphics designer. The other pic is of a smudge. They also came rolled tightly and the effort it took to flatten them left the paper misshapen. In the sites defense, I did not attempt to return but honestly, I didn't think reprints would look any different and decided to make do with what I had.
Pricey af. Designer dope $#*! comforter. Zero Faction. Love it. But $113?! Thank gods i got points. Great quality and great design.
I paid $25 for a throw pillow. It arrived and was very poor quality. The zipper would hardly close. The pillow insert was too big for the cover. Colors looked different from picture. Very disappointed.
I don't do this often but I feel I need to share this amazing website. Society6.com. It's not often that when you request a refund they immediately send your money back and tell you they are sorry you were not satisfied with the product but keep the product and donate it to a worthy cause! So great to know there are still ethical companies out there who aren't just out to take your money.
I am remodeling my bedroom and I ordered some curtains from this company. They are created by artist and they do an amazing job. Their products are beautiful and designed specifically for your needs. These are artists not just manufacturers. For all you interior designers anybody who knows the color periwinkle is a tough match. I ordered some drapes and they didn't match with what I was doing and I requested a refund within the required time. From the moment I requested the refund instructions, I received an email and a notice from PayPal saying that my money was being refunded, and then I received an email saying they're sorry that the product didn't match my expectations but please keep the product and if I'd like to donate it to a worthy cause. So great to know there are still ethical companies out there who aren't just out to take your money. I recommend this company to anybody who would love to have a unique Decour in their home.
Ordered a door mat. Which looks nice in photos but the coloring and quality in person looks cheap and cartoon like. It's a fairly expensive site so I just wouldn't. Better off going to etsy amd finding a seller with good reviews. Giving 3 stars cause it's not terrible and it arrived in a little over a week but it was incredibly overpriced.
I purchased 2 sets of curtains (4 panels) 50x96" for a rather hefty price. Only one panel measured 50" wide, two were 49, one was 50.5. All four were only 94 inches long instead of 96 and this was a big problem for me. I requested they replace them and they said they "could not guarantee the next set would be any more accurate" and offered me a 20% credit. I accepted their offer and they gave me a credit on only one set. When I questioned why the credit was short, they asked for more detailed photographs before they could issue more credit. I had already sent them a photo of the full length with a tape measure, but apparently that wasn't sufficient. I got better quality drapes from Amazon for less. Not going to order from Society6 again!
I ordered a bunch of 8x10 pictures and paid almost $200 for them all and all the photos came on an 8x10 piece of paper but the actual photo is very small and has a white border around because it is not the actual size that I ordered

Description said blue and gray. It is very clearly tan. Being in this business you'd think society6 would know that this is important info. Now I have to go through return, having paid for shipping to me and now I have to pay for return shipping all because of their incompetence.
I've been trying to do a return for two months, two days after receiving an item that looks nothing like described on the website. Can't get anyone in customer service to respond. Finally get a person on the chat who tells me that I am now two days after the 60 day window for returns!
I purchased a large area rug. No instructions for care except washing. It snagged in multiple places in less than 5 mo. Their return policy is 60 days. For such an expensive product and no care instructions, this is unacceptable. I contacted them for a replacement/refund/care instructions. All were met with a "no" as they have a 60 day return policy. Don't buy their rugs unless you want to replace them often.
I ordered curtains, but what I received felt like an outdoor tablecloth and the colors were barely visible. The product did NOT resemble the images on the website at all. I would recommend that you take care when ordering
I wanted an artsy case for my new iPhone 13 Pro, outside of the standard Otter Box types. Browsed their selection which was good. Options for a lightweight or heavyweight case. Picked a heavy weight case, applied a promo code, $22CAD all said and done, 1-2 weeks for international orders. Fine! Realize after a few days they charged me in USD. Not the biggest deal, but that had steered me away from other sites prior to Society6. After the first week, the package tracking is updating often and I expect it to be arriving soon. The next week it went quiet. At the 2 week mark I reached out to customer service just to know when to expect the package. Replied in 24 hours as advertised with a respectful and professional message, however, saying international orders take 7-15 business days. Should arrive by then. Dang. Another plot twist. Getting worried so I'm reading more people's reviews at this point and find out some customers had to pay additional duty and customs upon delivery. Around $20CAD. C'mon. Reached out to customer service again asking about this and they confirmed it might be the case. Feeling a little taken advantage of now. More time goes by with no tracking updates and it's been about 4 weeks. At this point, I've been fairly stressed out carrying my new iphone around naked this whole time, checking the tracker daily. It ended up arriving on day 30, with no additional fees required. Phew! Likely just for larger products they sell. As for the case, I'm very happy with it. It's great quality and it looks lovely. I just wish there was more transparency.
The quality really isn't good. There is lines across the pattern, weird stitching lines where there really shouldn't be. Not true blackout- made 75%. For the price they are definitely not worth it.
Beautiful fabrics. One of a kind art. I had ordered curtains and they were uneven. I contacted customer service and they sent me replacement curtains at no extra charge and allowed me to keep the curtains that I had. Will be ordering from them again!

So you would have to cover duties since the shipment would be coming from the United States. I would definitely recommend checking with Canadian Customs to see what the requirements are for charging duties and break your order up into smaller orders.
