Not the same quality

I bought 3 cotton totes from them 2 years ago. The fabric is great, plus a full separate cotton lining. I just ordered 2 more, which are a stiff, thin, cotton bonded to a cotton backing. It's a much cheaper quality.

I will not buy from them again. I'd rather pay a more for a quality product.

I got this cute mushroom yoga mat. My personal recommendation is not to buy one- they quality is poor and after only a couple of months, it's already torn. The pieces that come off get all over my clothes, the yoga studio floor, and the overall design no longer looks good.

I purchased to "leather" throw pillows for $40 each. The leather is actually a leather print on fabric and well so are the stripes on the pillow cases. Such poor quality, this is was deters me from buying items online. I really had wished I read reviews from this site.

Order a couple prints that were priced in CAD. Charged an exorbitant amount for shipping. However, when it arrived I had to pay $150 COD fee charge from FedEx (more than the cost of the prints). They didn't pay for shipping, I did- crazy double! Would not have ordered if I was going to be charged to FedEx shipping it (btw I've ordered and shipped from U.S. before and it isn't nearly as much). Do NOT order if you live or are shipping to Canada. Disappointed. Will not order from them again and turn off alerts.

Poorer Quality Products than SHEIN

Do not give any money to this business... the quality of products are worse than those produced in China's sweat-shops... I purchased three products, a bath mat, a shower curtain, and hand towel. The hand towel and bath mat have track marks of missing color/design where the printer messed up or got caught up on the material which ruins the overall design of the product. In addition, the materials feel really cheap and plastic-y. In addition, the bath mat stays wet for days, so it's not only of poor quality but it's not functional. I paid premium quality product prices and received literal garbage... I'm literally going to throw these away, do not spend your money here.

This company does not have it together

First of all, I do like some of their merchandise. I have a new home and am in the market for LOTS of home decor. I ordered a pillow that after a LONG wait did arrive and I liked it. Then the trouble began. I needed some info and there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMER.As in: You can t call them.

Today I have been trying to order something else and the cart WON T give me the discount that was sent on email. It should not take all afternoon to order a few placemats! They are $60. For four of the which I think the average Jane won't pay, but Nevermind, I will but I can't get them!

The email " help" is so slow you might as well not try. Do they think I want to wait around all afternoon for them to email me.

I quit. I think I can get placemats somewhere else.

Lucky I don't need oxygen from S 6.

Made mistake by offering email address on or about February 8th. I now receive 'offers,' often more than 2X per day. Have attempted not less than seven times to unsubscribe. Messages keep coming.

Clearly a technical failure, but a loyalty gaffe as well. Have now identified constant barrage of promos as 'junk.'

False advertising

I ordered a "Tooled Cowhide Leather" iPhone case on 1/26/23, what I received yesterday was a polycarbonate case with a cowhide design. I'm in the process of contacting Society6 to see how issue can be resolved.
Update 2/9/23 Contacted Society6 via email and issued was resolved in less than an hour!
Refunded FULL amount of order and did not want iPhone case returned.
Great to see a company that takes care of customer issues without a fight.

I was excited and hopeful to find Society6, because they show a seemingly limitless variety of colorful pillow designs with good variety of sizes. I found a playful design that I really enjoyed and felt good about supposedly supporting artists. I bought two rectangular throw pillows that, according to the Society6 website were to measure 12 x 17 or slightly larger. The pillows' actual size was less than 10 inches x 15 inches. They were too small for my needs. Society6 customer service person seemed totally unconcerned the sizing info was incorrect and offered me 20% off to keep them. I declined and asked for a refund, suggesting I would order the next size up if someone there could provide me with accurate measurements. No one, apparently, could provide accurate sizing. Their explanation is that each pillowcase is handmade "just for me," so sizes vary. That may be true, but made-to-order sewing can certainly be cut to exacting standards and accurate sizing information provided on the website. I decided it wasn't worth the risk to reorder. I'm disappointed this didn't work out. I like that the pillows have the design on both sides and have zippers to remove the pillow insert for easy cleaning. They also appeared to be well sewn, although the fabric looked as though it would get dirty easily. Also, once the pillow insert is added, the fabric stretches, and the colors appear less vivid. I was expecting a higher quality, more resilient fabric. Society6 has no customer service telephone, so all my communication with them was via email and live chat. I'm giving them two stars instead of just one, because they did, ultimately, give me a full refund. Buyer beware.

FANTASTIC SKYLINE 2

They steal designs right of Threadless, where artists share designs, and reproduce them. I suspected this when they did exact knockoffs of a whole bunch of curtains etc from designer sites, but on the Threadless forums saw multiple artists warning each other.

So careless!

I purchased 4 abstract wall art posters. They sent me a package that took forever to get n when it came in it wasn't my poster. It was 1 poster with a woman on it n inside it had a receipt with another persons name item number n address on it.n the adress was not even my state. How careless. So after I made a complaint they sent me only 2 of the 4 posters I ordered even tho the receipt inside specified that I ordered 4 posters. How careless! Now I have to wait another 2 weeks for the other 2. You would think they would refund me some money or all but nope they didn't even care. Buyer beware do not order from them.

Bait and Switch

The banner on the site says "Free shipping for orders over $75". I ordered over $75, but did not get free shipping. I asked the chat support person why and the answer was that the items I ordered are not included in the offer. That is misleading and I feel cheated. There was no mention of "certain items" on the banner. That's misleading and dishonest way of running a business.

Overpriced Junk

Overpriced, junky Chinese products that took FOREVER to arrive. I was so disappointed in the items I FINALLY received. Print quality was bad; product was cheap; price was way too high. On top of all that, it took a month (a MONTH!) for the items to arrive, and shipping was not free. I requested the shipping status from customer service and it took three days to get a reply, which was just a cut-and-paste regurgitation of their shipping policy, not an actual update on my order. I won't bother to return the stuff because I'm sure I'll just be asking for more problems. But I learned my lesson and will never place another order.

Zero Customer Service and Accountability

For those familiar with Society6 or not, I'm going to strongly recommend never shopping with them.

I ordered on October 1,2022 and received my shipping notification October 3,2022. As I am in Canada they only ship via standard paid DHL, no other options.

October 25,2022 my tracking never updated from "en route to DHL e-commerce or awaiting processing". October 26,2022 Society6 informed me the package was lost and they will issue a replacement immediately. I receive a new tracking number for a replacement October 28,2022. November 9,2022, Society6 informs me yet again the package is lost as my tracking stated "en route to DHL e-commerce or awaiting processing" and never updated. I called DHL both times and they informed me they never received a package to scan to begin with. So somewhere between Society6 distribution and DHL, two packages were lost.

Society6 Customer Care then asks me "do you have another address we can send to?" Now, what a weird question to ask in my mind. I have 1 home, I live in Canada, and my family lives within the same area as me; how would I have another address? How can they guarantee that the package isn't lost 3-6 more times to a different address? Yes, my address was correct, they had me check during every Customer Care email. Secondly, the problem isn't my address, the problem is Society6 can't even get the package from their distribution center to DHL. I asked if they had better shipping options because this clearly isn't working. I got "not for international customers" as the response.

I responded to the Customer Care team promptly and within 24 hours, with my last correspondence to them November 13,2022. They responded 7 days later on November 20,2022 with "sorry not sorry". Zero accountability and do not care that they lost my package twice due to their incompetence.

I asked for full refund as of today. Can't wait for the e-mail back "oh you're past 30 days, can't refund you now!"

Good quality wall tapestries

I've bought several wall tapestries over the years & most of them have been great. I use them to cover our 55" TV. Not a fan of a big black screen in my living room.

Most Disappointing purchase I've ever made

I recently purchased a yoga towel from Society6. It cost nearly $50. When I received it I couldn't believe how poor the quality is. It is paper thin and not at all how it was describes on the website. I contacted customer support to see if this was a mistake and they sent me the wrong item and I did not get a response. In order to return the item, I lose the shipping cost and I have to pay myself to send it back and with customer service not even responding who knows if I'd actually get a refund even after it arrived. Better to just cut my loss and let everyone know about the terrible product quality from this site. I would not recommend buying anything from them if they support the kind of product I received. It is literally made so cheap it seems like a joke. What a rip off!

Cheap looking pillow

The picture showed a cream calf fur looking pillow with gold flaks. The pillow arrived and looked like it was made from a cheap piece of fabric. Tried to return it but forgot my password and their system would not allow me to reset my password. Looks nothing like the advert picture.
