SmileBox quoted a monthly price for their premium service. However they charged me an annual amount. This is 12x what I expected to pay. I have asked several times in writing for SmileBox to adjust my term from annual to monthly, but SmileBox Customer Service has refused.
I sent one e-invitation to a dozen persons, and it cost me nearly 50 bucks. If you stay away from the premium service, you'll be ok. Just don't give them your credit card number, PayPal, etc. Check the BBB web site; there are over 100 complaints related to SmileBox billing practices.
UPDATE: Smilebox did eventually give me a partial refund.
You lack "updating and adding", "Thinking of You" Category e-greetings, specifically LOVE, as I use it most every day to my lover (wife).
This is a great site for photographers who do personalized greeting cards. The designs are unique and well worth the membership. I am very happy with Smilebox!

It is really easy to use and fun to create all kinds of stuff!
I like the way it can make any type of card and it stores all your creations for you. I also love the way it pulls pictures from anywhere you want whether it's facebook or just a picture file on your computer. I have used smilebox not only to create graduation announcements, but to send them. No stamps needed and you can print them or send them to your favorite store to be print if you want a hard copy.
It's REALLY AWESOME especially if you have kids and want to send musical pictures to all your friends.
Smilebox is awesome. I get to express myself through the collages and share them with myfamily and friend on Facebook. The albums are great. I recommend this site to everyone.
I absolutely love Smilebox! I have so many slideshows and my grandchildren love to watch them. I do one for their birthdays and their school activities. It is just wonderful!
Not enough traditional religious cards to choose from like the last two years?
I have used this site for so many occasions, for birthdays, grandchildren's visit, death of family members and there are so many other occasions that would take me for ever to mention. This is one of my very favorite sites. The templates and music is easy to use to send your family and friends current photos that makes a difference in their life.
This is a nifty little piece of software, that makes brilliant presentations that can be emailed, saved and shared without difficulty. Easy to use (and download), with a good range of choice and ways of adapting it to fit what you want to do. Well worth it!

Well its just the opposite its wonderful, very good value, once youv'e join you can do so much and you can save on all the money that the postage stamps cost and save a fortune, as they have just gone up again

Discovering Smilebox.com was a great opportunity to start designing new ways to share family photos. Their site was easy to use and offered so many cute ways to present photos or videos that could be sent to friends and relatives. Their monthly/yearly subscription isn't too bad if you do a lot of design work or wish to use social networking sites. Easy to use, options are many, and fun, delightful results.
Smilebox is an easy way to make fabulous creations to send to family, friends, and students, (if you are a teacher)! The support is fast, polite and thorough, if you have questions about ANYTHING!
A smilebox can be ready to send in 5 minutes, but it always takes me longer because I have a hard time choosing from all of the amazing formats! Everyone I send Smileboxes to enjoys receiving them and they always look forward to the next one I send.
