The confirmation process was timely and relatively easy to do. There was some concern about how long I could input or share information before the site timed out. Also, the confirmation did not include the fare that was charged.
Trip was cancelled due to change of medical emergency. Only US$50 was refunded. Very disappointing.

I got an email saying that I have to confirm the reservation, this is the first time I hace this kind of experience, and the I was told that I need to pay 200 extra dollars, I'm writing this 7 may and the email I got was on 6, I made the reservation 5 may
I made a decision based on the published price of the tickets and after booking the tickets, you told me that I had to pay a 20% extra to confirm the booking (due to an increase on the price agreed with Aeroméxico).
Furthermore, if I had decided to cancel the purchase, you would refund me 10% less due to "TAXES" ¿?¿?.
At the end of the day, I felt kidnapped. I had no choice but to accept the proposal to pay an additional 10% after a tough negotiation.
This is completely unacceptable, I ended up paying more money than other options that I had when choosing the tickets.
I feel really upset and I won't use again SmartFares unless you reward me in some way. And for you to know, I'm a really easy customer, I have never complained in any way about any supplier, but this is a fraud, because I made a decision based on an information that wasn't true and, worst of all, I had other options.
While I required instant service, there was a 24-hour wait time. Despite this, I still consider the overall experience to be positive.

The next day you will receive an email to call them immediately because they were unable to confirm your flight. When you call them back, they will try to sell you another flight at a much higher price. SCAM SCAM AVOID!

Answer: Yes. They stated because of flight increase they canceled my flights. Then they wanted me to pay a balance of what the new increase was. So disappointing. I paid for four fares. They took the funds from the bank n then canceled my flights.
