I used sky scanner to search plane fares. Through that site I was prompted to buy through smart fares. I should have booked directly through the airline, price was no cheaper. And then I was screwed…. My 11:30am flight from Vancouver to Montreal was moved to 9:40am- problem is I am getting of a cruise ship scheduled to disembark at 7:30am and I don't know I can make the earlier flight. Smart fares did NOTHING for me except give me the phone number to air transat. Air transat says they can't do anything for me since I booked through a 3rd party site. So the flight I paid for is not happening and it's apparently my problem. I'm out $675- and air transats solution was to contact my travel insurance company and see what they can do. Unbelievable how terrible the customer service is these days. Don't waste your money with smart fares.

I felt that they are playing games with me with a simple ( scam) on booking.
I have looked on so many websites for cheaper fares and found Snartfares to be more competitive and easier way to book my flights. I will definitely use them again in the future.
