It was my first time to book airticket with Smartfares. I was really not sure if everything would be going quite well. Till is came to realize that Smartfares is Affordable and reliable!
Quick and easy throughout the process. When the selection listed give airline a seat preference for window or isle, there was no listing of a price associated (other choices had fees visible). At checkout there was no final price given before confirmation. After finalizing the purchase, then I saw a $90 fee for requesting a window seat without any actual seat assignment. Thankfully I called and was able to be assured they would refund that $90 within 48 hours.
My refund was fixed literally in 10 minutes, very professional customer service
I didn't want seat selection but it charged me an extra $120 to select seats.Then when I checked out it never told me the total so I assumed it was only the original fare amount. After I noticed it changed me $120 extra on my receipt I called them right away and told them I didn't want to pick my seat and they told me that it was a non refundable selection. I told the rep that I never selected it and even if I can't get my money back I never was able to select any seats so why should I be charged. He said he was going to get his boss and told me he would call me back and I never heard from him again.

When you call them back, they will try to sell you another flight at a much higher price. SCAM SCAM AVOID!

Answer: Yes. They stated because of flight increase they canceled my flights. Then they wanted me to pay a balance of what the new increase was. So disappointing. I paid for four fares. They took the funds from the bank n then canceled my flights.
