The first time I tried to buy, when I had already entered the payment information and had pressed the pay button, while the page was loading, it took me out and I got a message that the price had increased 5 times its value! They charged me the original value, but they reversed it immediately. Clearly, I did not agree to continue paying 5 times the value. I did the search again, the flights were at the same value as before and it happened again. Days later I tried it again and it worked correctly. Anyways, the webpage does not provide much detail, so it was 24 hours of uncertainty, but in the end everything went well and I have my tickets confirmed by the airlines.
I got the greatest prices round trip, no complaints at all. It was a very smooth booking process.

Wanted to book flights for 6. Would not let me. Would only let me book one, then I was put on hold.
When he came back the prices had gone up. When I told him I was looking at the screen and it said one price he said that it hadn't updated yet. While I was on hold the price went up more than $100. That's bull $#*!.

I never got a confirmation from the airline, and SmartFares never responded to my email inquiry about the ticket. I had to buy a ticket directly from the airline and then contest the charge on my credit card.

The next day you will receive an email to call them immediately because they were unable to confirm your flight. When you call them back, they will try to sell you another flight at a much higher price. SCAM SCAM AVOID!

Answer: Yes. They stated because of flight increase they canceled my flights. Then they wanted me to pay a balance of what the new increase was. So disappointing. I paid for four fares. They took the funds from the bank n then canceled my flights.
