Skylux have not delivered on my refund as promised. The support person Celestia has been excellent but getting accounting to process the refund stated to be due to me is taking forever.

For the second year my husband and I have tried to go to Scotland with Skylux doing our flights. Both times, flights were changed, or cancelled without any notification until late. Refund was denied, but could give credit since we had insurance. Our tour is only once a year, not a monthly thing. We were apologized to about the changes, but continued to be denied any refund even though not our fault. Our flights were close to $10,000. Last year they could find other flights, but we were not seated together and the dates were not with our tour. This year the times are arriving late so we have to make other arrangements to get to our first stop on the tour, and we have to leave early from the tour, so again, we have to make our own arrangements to get to the airport. I am so upset with this company and my assigned agent "Percy". I did tell him this and all he could do was blame the company for their policies. I am very disappointed with business' these days.

I am a healthcare provider, and never once have I tried to scam someone, or try to steal from them. In fact, I go out of my way everyday to help them, especially in their time of need. Skylux is like every other business out there, not like there motto "born to be luxury, shining like stars". This was a lifetime trip for my husband and I, having saved for years and this company has once again taken that from us. I cannot recommend their services for traveling.

Memphis is great!

After 2 successful rebookings I was finally able to travel. My travel manager Memphis has proved his professionalism and responsiveness in full. This service is amazing and always responsive, much better than dealing directly with the airline. Mostly because of managers that take care of all questions and goes the extra mile for customer. I highly recommend Skylux Travel!

Don't use them

We were left stranded in Australia after Cathay Pacific canceled all flights to the US for January '22. Skylux was no help in getting us home and no help in getting us a full refund for the return. We're $5k out of pocket. Last 5 emails have gone unanswered. Don't use them. Better results if you book your own.

Giving even a 1-star rating is also more. One of the worst and most notorious travel agent companies with all fine prints. I paid $2600 for not traveling to this travel company and paid $400 for ticket cancellation. Be careful dealing with this Travel company.

Bait and Switch

I am very disappointed in my dealings with SkyLux Travel. Last year I had booked flights through SkyLux Travel for a South American trip for this past December. Due to the Covid pandemic, our trip was cancelled in October. I then consulted with SkyLux about our airline tickets. SkyLux advised that if I paid them (SkyLux Travel) $700 more, then they would cancel the tickets, provide us with an airline credit and that the credit/tickets would be valid up to December 31,2022. All of this was documented in an email from a SkyLux representative. I recently tried to use the credit for a trip in May 2022 and was advised by SkyLux that in spite of the commitment in the SkyLux email that the credit/tickets were valid through December 31,2022, now I was being told that it is the airlines' responsibility to extend the tickets/credit duration and that Skylux has no role or responsibility. I used SkyLux from the beginning for this ticket purchase. I followed their advice and I paid an additional $700 for that option but now I am out a significant amount of money due to their fraudulent behavior. This is certainly an unethical business practice and should be illegal.

Generally ok when you are making your booking but if you have to make a change then you really get to experience the complete lack of customer service. You get all kinds of miss/conflicting information and false promises that the agent knows they will not be able to honor. If the agent that did your booking is not available or out of there working hours then other agents would ask for all the information and then just say that only the agent who booked can help, which took a day or more for them to respond. I can go on and on about the complete lack of customer service. AVOID with a 100 foot pole.

I just had the worst experience ever. Whatever you do, do not buy their Care Package! You will not get the help you need, you will be charged obscure fees and it will take you a dozen phone calls to get anyone to give you an answer or help in any way. This scam just costed me over $1600. Do not believe a word they say...

When these folks have received customers money and issued their ticket, they will not help them if their flights gets canceled or whatever the reason might be. Doesn't matter how many times you call the agents number, change/cancel department and sales number. They will not help you, statin that your agent has all the details and will transfer to that agent. When that agent doesn't even respond to your emails, phone calls or voicemails.

By the way they will issue so called "un published tickets" and when your departure comes around they will send an email stating that your flight have been cancelled and we have to re-book it.

They also have guts to lie you in emails, by stating that "I called you but you weren't available". When they never did. When you ask them if they left a voicemail, the answer is no. They they go further stating that I wasn't available on my own cell phone.

By the way I have gave this particular agent thousand of dollars business and have referred to many people. Again, for them it doesn't matter who you are once they have issued the tickets.

Just look at the trend in reviews, it seems like it's their hobby not to respond to the clients once their flight have been cancelled.

Oh and got to love their classy response to your reviews. They want you to email them after you have already emailed 50 times and no response.

Best international fares

I purchased 2 Business class tickets from them for travel in August of 2020. The Airline cancelled flight due to COVID. Remus at SkyLux told me to be patient. The Airline sent me a Case Number and e-mail after couple of months clearly showing they have refunded all the money to SKYLUX (which has been forwarded to multiple people and supervisors) and Wells (the new Agent) keeps telling me that they are waiting for some "Consolidator" to refund the money. NOT MY PROBLEM, especially after waiting for 17 months. I even offered them to give me a Travel Credit towards another trip. Now I am finally using a Law Firm to report them to the FTC, IATA, BBB and other sources that should stop SKYLUX from keeping people's hard earned money and Cancel their license to do business in the US.

Terrible service

SkyLux has been a terrible company to work with! In 2019, we worked with SkyLux to book Business Class tickets to Kenya during 2020 (these tickets turned out to cost exactly what they could be purchased from the airlines—no 60% to 70% discount). Due to Covid, we requested that SkyLux rebook our tickets for travel in 2021. Without our approval, SkyLux booked a lower grade Business Class ticket than we had paid for—Business Standard instead of Business Comfort (by working with the airlines, we were told that SkyLux retained the difference in cost between standard and comfort as an increase to their commission). When we further decided (still an issue with Covid) that the trip couldn't occur in 2021, we requested a refund from SkyLux—they informed us that we'd need to work directly with the airline. Over several weeks, the airline told us to work with SkyLux and then SkyLux told us to work with the airline. This back and forth continued numerous times—couldn't get cooperation from anyone. When we initially worked with SkyLux, we assumed that if there was an issue, they would work for us as an advocate. Instead, they shunned our requests and avoided any involvement in a resolution. Finally, we got assistance from the airline. We were refunded our initial funds minus the amount that was retained by SkyLux (as an increase to their commission). Since SkyLux had retained these funds, we went back to SkyLux and asked them to reimburse us for the monies that they had retained. We were told that they were unable to refund these monies, but indicated that they would give us a future travel credit for the amount in question (good through the end of 2023). Given the uncertainty of the ability to fly, we told them that this resolution was unsatisfactory—we wanted the money refunded that they retained. They have refused. The amount is $668. Again, we have found SkyLux's performance to be non-supportive bordering on fraudulent.
