When I purchased my car the dealer wouldn't let me leave until I set up sirius xm... this is a bad practice, I forgot to cancel and they automatically charged my card. Then I cancelled when I saw it and they have been calling me daily for over three months... this is harrassment. I am about ready to get an air horn and blow it everytime they call me. The calls start as early as 7 am and continue until 9 pm. Don't let the dealer activate it on your car unless you really want it. I wish I knew of their inablity to accept no for answer.
I love the SiriusXM app and it has alot of channels you can listen too with variety of genre music. I mainly like the premium Pandora where you can customize your channel. Its a great way to listen at home with your kids and family. The workers are very warm hearted and compassionate as well. Highly recommend to get SiriusXM Radio!
I called to cancel my subscription and gave them all my information twice, she gave a verification number then gave me another phone number to call to cancel which is 1x800x373x3411 and it was recording on how to save on car insurance. So I hung up and the 1-800 number called me back with another recording. I tried to call the number back that I talked to the lady on and no one answered just a recording of Sirius XM. WOW it doesn't even deserve a one star rating.
More & more they blackout Triumph 111 due to sporting event. Not just a few hours but 6 or more. Subscription canceled, so disappointed in you SiriusXM
I don't even want to give one star, are there negative stars?
A despicable company that should be avoided at all costs. They are deceitful thieves that will steal from you. They hide their true cost with BS introductory rates then charge through the nose for crappy channels that do nothing but play on a loop. They should go to jail for theft!
THIS woman AKA MANAGER is the MOST RUDE and OBNOXIOUS woman, person anyone can think and doesn't try to HELP ANYONE and talk to people with a HARSH tone that is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and she should be TERMINATED ASAP...
Got a free trial and let it expire without renewing. Hounded for 8 months via snail mail and email. Did not respond. Then got a pretty good deal via email for $5 a month and free echo dot. Called to reconnect the service. Got a rep who couldn't speak English very well and he kept saying the same thing over and over. Finally, he spoke slower and said "you realize there are taxes and fees of $6.76". I said "total or per month?" He said "per month". I thanked him for his time and told him good bye with sounds of him trying to make another deal as I hung up. They will nickel and dime you to death. And after a year, your service goes to $17.99/month…before fees and taxes. No thanks. I'll keep my apple car play.
I signed up for a 3 month pariod, then they hit me up the 4th month for11.99. I never used it once. It can car radio only, no streaming. I DONT EVEN OWN A CAR. CUSTOMER SERVISE DIID JACK ALL. THEY WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY! THEY FLAT OUT STOLL MY MONEY STAY AWAY FROM THESE $#*!ING CONARTISTS!
It's obvious there is no laws and justice in this country, to let a '' Ali Baba Cave " like this trashy SiriusXm radio manipulate ignorant and naïve clients without any ethical or moral restrictions... they start with $20/month and they bargain with the client to get $6/month ( that's what just happened with me, and this it the 6th year with them) once the enrolment is completed after 6 months they automatically renew on $20/month, so i have to call yell at them, insult them, etc... then they agree on the $6/month for the next 6 months. Their NON-English speakers customer service barely can speak and explain and mostly apologize to clients. This is my last renewal with them, it's a trashy company with no self respect and no ethics at all, this is a real dumpster.
I tried calling and never got a human to answer. So I went the chat method. 64 minutes later, my account was closed. If your thinking on canceling, allow plenty of time to accomplish that task.
I would not have thought it possible to make this app work even worse than it already did, but I was wrong! It was awful before, now it has been redesigned to make it virtually worthless. Here's a hint: you can get podcasts many other places without paying at all, AND THEY WILL ACTUALLY PLAY. CONTINOUSLY. WITHOUT DROPPING OUT OR SKIPPING TO SOMETHING ELSE EVERY FEW SECONDS. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Money.
I guess everybody has to make a buck somehow. They seem unscrupulous. If you cancel, get a cancellation number in writing. Don't fall for, "OK thanks, your account is cancelled." That statement appears to be just the first step in a long and growling cancellation process.
I saw a lot of peoples reviews about this company but I just got a new car I was like why not. I got the free trial I had to fight with their reps for 45mins before I was able to to get the trial. Which lost a lot of points with me and then had it for about 2 weeks. I started to get a lot of emails telling to BUY BUY BUY unsubbed from it then they readded me without any consent. Then I also started to get emails again and letters in the mail telling me to buy. The music selection they have is pretty bad its like something your parents would buy you if they don't know what music you listen too. Then the station pretty much repeats the same music over and over. Then they have "commercial free music" which is a joke because they have ads for their own station and for bands. But I got tired of all the spam and harassment on my free trial that I had to cancel it so they would stop. That is the first time I had to cancel a free trial of anything.
I have been very dissatisfied with this company for years. I have found the sales reps are very misleading in their communication. For example I was told listening to Sirius XM via an app on my phone was included in my plan however a few months later when I decided to give the app a try I discovered through another customer service representative that this app is NOT included with my yearly bill, even though I was told otherwise after having paid for the year in full for two different vehicles. I have called their customer service and complained a few times only to have the representative and their supervisors argue with me. It seems rather evident that this company does not believe in customer loyalty or customer service. Customers are just a number to them and they are indifferent if they lose your business. I refuse to be nickel and dimed to death by Sirius XM. I have been a subscriber for many years and its outrageous they have the audacity to not only lie about the app being included in the exorbitant rates they then to require I pay more just to listen to the app which I was previously told was included. Get real, Sirius XM! How about treating your loyal customers with some respect? It would seem Sirius XM would be well served to invest in some real customer service reps and become a company that values its customers enough to treat them with honesty and respect and give them correct, timely information from trained competent representatives. My whole experience would have been a positive one if someone had taken the time to really listen to what I was saying and at least pretend to find a solution to accommodate my needs and address my concerns. Shame on you Sirius XM. At the very least, act like you care enough to make an effort by being accommodating and stop arguing with your customers! The service isn't worth what you pay for. Youre better off with a Free account with one of the following apps Spotify, Pandora Radio or iHeartRadio connect with your cars Bluetooth and you could even upgrade to a paid account for a fraction of the cost of Sirius XM.
The people who answer their "customer care" department have no clue about any of the channels they offer.
Let me tell you a story about a Hyundai Tucson 2012 radio. We purchased a Hyundai in 2012 and paid for Siriusxm and paid extra for our other tablets and cellphones. Well, all was well for some time and then it happened we were cut off from Siriusxm and could not understand why, we paid our bill always so what happened. Well, here it goes but first, I do not even have to leave the house to run into problems, some that should not occur. I called Siriusxm and they said because the radio was changed out, they needed a letter from the dealer and they wanted to charge me $15.00 for the change over from one radio to another and I said no and hung up. I called up Siriusxm the next day and they told me that this replacement radio was someone else's and that blah! Blah! Blah! So, I hung up getting even madder. I called up the 3rd day and was speaking with a nice guy who wanted to help me, like this is how it should have been I explained that my radio was replaced and now Siriusxm wants to charge me $15.00 and he said he would correct all the problems and would not charge me anything. What a great guy and all was working well for sometime. Well, everything is going along fine and then recently we got turned off on all our devices. I called Siriusxm and explain the situation (here we go again). This time I really got mad. The girl tells me that the previous owner put in for a 30 day free trial and because there time was up it was turned off. I said I own this radio and these people do not. I said that I have been paying each and every month for service and you cut me off without even telling me why. Well, the girl said she would give us 90 days free trial on the radio and 30 days on the other devices. Then they will have straightened out the problems (I don't think so, but will find out) in 30 days. For now, I am preparing for the 30 day fight, but all the devices are working. I am a happy camper for now. Will continue to let you know what happens.
Answer: Sirius xm seems to have 2 problems. The 1st, regarding the app is the fact that the songs don't line up witn either the car radio or on the app, the titles of songs. For example, say the channel you are tuning into shows the doors "light my fire". You can go to that channel and find that light my fire played 25 minutes ago and there is a different song playing altogether. For whatever reason, the have a huge problem keeping the title of songs in sync with the one that's playing. They also have an inconsistent replay button. Some times it will work fine, but other times it will just play the final few notes of the last song and wastes the "back" button and go right back to the presrnt song which would have played anyway and not waste the back button.
