Scammers

I have had Sirius XM for a number of years and each year they automatically increase the rate by 250% even though I have it in writing and voice mail of what this year's rate will be. But this makes no difference. They are counting on their customers not monitoring their credit card and so the scam continues.
Wish I could give them less than a 1 star rating.

Beware

We have been a customer of Sirius for years. Each year after our contract ends Sirius begins charging our credit card a ridiculous monthly rate. Last year we again negotiated a new program but advised we did not want an automatic renewal. Sirius began charging us again this year. We contacted customer service who stated we did authorize the charges which we did not. The customer service supervisor was rude, condescending, and refused to refund the unauthorized payments. Beware if you sign up with Sirius, they keep your card on file and at the end of your contractual year take the liberty to charge fees unauthorized.

They can't be Sirius!

SiriusXM is a waste of money and an unscrupulous business. They offer sweet deals to get you to sign up then they steadily increase your bill counting on their customers not to notice. Instead of rewarding long-time customers, they penalize you by raising your rates every year and don't think you can easily cancel, oh no they make that very difficult and time consuming.

Because I lease vehicles I get the service free. When the subscription expires. I get at least a half a dozen people telling me different prices. I tell them to cancel the service. They tell me the service canceled January 20,2023. I get a bill in the mail for $35.93. I pay it. I come home today with a bill for $92.66. I called them to find out what the issue is. Their response is, it's for the rest of the subscription… That I never agreed to? This service is very suspect. Even if they offer it for free do not take it.

I wanted to check on pricing for a car I bought my daughter. In checking - they signed me up for a free trial even though I didn't want one. It took me 30 minutes to cancel. I tired a chat agent = not helpful and two calls to customer service. Worst experience ever. After 12 year on my regular car thinking about cancelling. If there is a class action lawsuit - I want to be a part of it

I'm normally riding around town have not notice, exact same songs almost every hour. Need more variety on 64 K Franklin Praise. It's many other upbeat gospel songs and old spiritual songs for us to listen to

Getting Harrassed

Siriusx are worse than scam callers. They won't stop calling, emailing, and mailing me. I didn't even sign up for they're $#*! service, I got automatically signed up because i got a new car. I tried calling, emailing, and requesting for deletion, but none of them work. They even started resorting to putting IMPORTANT in the mail they send to make me open them. The most desperate company I have every seen.

I discovered that Sirius was still charging me for a vehicle I had traded in. They also charged me for Platinum service that I never authorized. Speaking with employees who do not speak fluent, easily understood English just increases the level of frustration from having to call them in the first place.

I had not planned on cancelling but I got so irritated not being able to understand the rep and then getting a very snotty cancellation rep I decided I had it. They better credit me for those months I was erroneously billed for my previous vehicle.

Enough is enough.

No option to cancel

I am so dissappointed with how SiriusXM is set up. Absolutely no option to cancel ypur subscription when you want. They try to upsel and even when you contact them they still try to upsel when I made it clear that I do not want it. I cpuld have kept it if there was some flexibility with cancellation like amazon music or other streaming services. I will never sign up with Sirius again. Very dissappointed.

Repeats over and over

At the begining is nice to hear songs and artists that probably I forgot about it, but, after 3 or so months, the only good thing is that there are no commercials but the stations repeat over and over the songs day after day like commercial stations, is like there is a recording and they not even care to do it once a week, same songs played every single day, I give it 2 stars because the quality of the sound is good otherwise I will rate it with just one, but at the end, is not worth pass the trial period.

I have had Sirius XM on and off a few times. Every Time I stop using them I say I'm not gonna to use them anymore because they call me like their Deat collectors and I owe them money. It gets to the point to almost harassing and a few times I have blocked the numbers they've called me from just to get ot to stop for a little bit.

Sirius bad business

Sirius XM has made 13 charges to my account in the last 6 months. They never canceled the membership for the totalled explorer so not only have they been charging me the standard $6 per month since July, for the new explorer (that i just recently got service for) but also $30 per month for a PLATINUM membership for a car that doesn't even exist anymore... $278.18 total in the last 6 months for a service that I don't even use unless my phone isn't connecting to my Bluetooth. CANCELED EVERYTHING.

These people have called me in 4 hours, same day over 24 times and I have blocked every single number. I'm giving them a one star they're spamming my phone I keep blocking the number I don't know how to make them to stop calling me! Are they inconsiderate, yes I think so. Wow they practicing bad Business. I think it's against the law to spam somebody's phone like 24 times in less than 4 hours. I've got a record of it I'm going to figure out who to call and report them.

In Dec 2022 I bought a Roku device and I did sign up for SirusXM 3 month trial on my Roku. SirusXM sent me an email to create a password. I clicked the link in the email to create a password but it took me to a page saying it expired. I chat them online & they said contact Roku. So did contact Roku and of course Roku said SirusXM is in charge if the login for their channel. I did chat online with SirusXM again & they kept telling me contact Roku after I told them Roku can't do nothing about creating a password on SiriusXM site. They also said they need my account number but I told them I don't have. After chat, DM them on twitter & they said a SiriusXM Corporate Solutions Team member will email & call me. In Jan 2023, The member sent me 3 same emails asking me what the best time to call me after I told them just email me. Their last email was Jan 3 and I haven't hear back of them. They are ignoring me, giving me a run around & they don't know to fix the problem about creating a password on their site. The customer service is bad

Really love the service but the app stops every 15 minutes and needs to be restarted. Radio in my car is useless because there are issues with my antenna. Not their fault but this means I have to rely on the phone app and having to restart the app every 15 minutes is not safe while driving. I also listen via the website which is beginning to have the same issues now. A real pain. Their help sucks, they just tell you to reinstall the app which does nothing. Looking at the reviews you can see that this has been an issue for quite some time, over a year for me now, but they don't seem to care. Once my term runs out I won't be renewing.

Deceitful and very sneaky. They raise the prices without as much as an amail, even an auto generated one. And when you want to cancel, it seems like you have to go through more pains dealing with various other options at lower costs etc...just BS from this company...if you have a cell phone and a newer car with Bluetooth, get your music, news, podcats for free...

Avoid like the plague!

Honestly only gave this 1 star cause I didn't have a choice, but if it was up to me -5 stars. I hate this company so much,, I don't normally write reviews but the one has been a headache. False advertisements and they charge more than what they say they're gonna. And good luck trying to get it canceled. They just hang up on me. Asked me my to stop payments and they weren't able to. Just please don't fall for this trap. I'm writing this review so nobody will be dumb as I was and made the same mistakes. Your honesty better at just getting Spotify

Have been with Sirius a number of years. My auto-payment was $10.52.
In August, my auto-pay went to $29.30. Sirius did not notify me that they changed my plan to Platinum. (I had the basic plan for years.)
Also, there is no history to review on their site.
When you call Customer service, their recording says that they are busy, and prompts to give permission to chat through message. When you message, it does not send, and so you have to call again.
When you do get an agent, they try to keep you as a customer...
I ccancelled! So wrong!
