I read the reviews on this site AFTER I ordered my dress, so I got really nervous and I just knew that either it was never going to get here, or that it was going to be a piece of crap that I wasted $160 on. But it actually came just a little over a month from when I ordered it; which is honestly not bad considering it was costume, hand made, ordered during peak season, and it was from China. It arrived and to my bewilderment it fit PERFECTLY. They got all my measurements right, and even added a little extra fabric in the back like I requested. The fabric was a decent quality, and it looks nice. I am rating 4 instead of 4 stars because the costumer service is not great, they responded to my email the second time I sent it, and I had to put some weird code in the subject line for them to reply, it was confusing. But once they did reply they were friendly and helpful enough.

I bought a wedding dress on this website. As soon as arrive to me my dress 10th of january i send a message to them and tried to contact to them.
I send this message:
" Today my dress arrived to me. But it is not the same as the shown. And also color is different than i ordered. I want to send it back. Please help me to which adress i will send and how many days later you pay money back?"
The answer was not relevant to my question. They send me this answer:
"hello,
Your dress has been shipped by DHL, the tracking number is *******133, this is the track website: www.dhl.com
Thank you."

Very dissapointed with this purchase. My friend is getting married next May 2018, we spent a few days searching for bridesmaid dresses and come across what we thought were beautiful dresses. We all got together and got the correct measurement for us all and sent them off on the website. A few weeks later the dresses arrived and to be honest they were laughable. They were all to big and all to long. The material was shocking. My friend spent time to measure them all and they had not listened to any of the measurements we had gavin them. We tried to get hold of the website but had such a poor response from them. Then be offered not even half a refund. Please do not order from this website. You will be dissapointed.

I purchased three of these dresses for my wedding in May 2018 and I can honestly say I have never been so disappointed and shocked at the poor quality dresses which I received.

Don't be fooled by the lovely image of the three ladies wearing the dress on the website, this is NOT the dress you will receive! They have since included additional image of the dress since raising my complaint and even these make the dresses look much better than what you will actually get.

I ordered three custom sized dresses for my bridesmaid to ensure they would fit perfectly however, when they eventually arrived from China! They were all scrunched up in a grey plastic bag with an invoice noting that each dress had cost $5 not the $75.99 this company is charging. Clearly they are sourcing cheap ($5) dresses form China and selling them on for a huge profit.

Every dress was far too long, wide and completely the wrong shape. The sewing was of such a poor quality that all of the hems were fraying and one of the zips wouldn't even do up. The material is a cheap thick cotton like material it is not the 'elegant lace' as described in the details, it was so upsetting to be sent such poor imitations for what should have been a really lovely purchase to receive.

I raised a complaint and requested a full refund as I has spent over $200 of my wedding budget on these dreadful dresses and they were not fit for purpose. I was offered $40 compensation which I have declined.

Please, do not waste your hard earnt money on these dresses (or even this site) you will be disappointed and you will waste time wrangling with them and not get your money back. This dreadful company is obviously selling cheap versions of the images to hard working customers looking to purchase dresses for really special occasions and they should be disgusted with themselves!

This place is a joke and I wish the bride who ordered our dresses had looked harder into reviews. Out of the 5 dresses ordered, 4 had to be altered. So if you think you're getting off cheap, think again! You end up paying $80 in alterations. The color was definitely now what was seen in the pictures. An ugly bright red compared to a deep red. My dress wasn't even made to the right measurements, not even close. Was sent back, and then they wanted us to pay shipping and handling on a dress that they messed up completely. The custom measurements are a joke. All the shoulders on the dress weren't made correctly, all (ugly) straps were made too big and were falling off. Under the bust was baggy but across the stomach it was made too tight. The zippers are ridiculous, it took two people to zip the dress up and down. Two different seamstress said the dresses were made poorly. One said the dress was such poor quality, the zipper needed to be replaced. Another said the bottom hem on the dress was cut so uneven. These dresses are awful. And terrible quality, seriously, I would take my business elsewhere. And if you try to post a review of the dresses on the site, it doesn't post. They monitor what is posted, that's why they have so many stars. This place is a rip off. And the dresses are garbage.

Wish I would have looked harder for reviews - now we are out $80+ and have 4 days to find a dress - don't let that happen to you. We ordered: A-Line Spaghetti Straps Short Burgundy Satin Homecoming Dress with Pockets.

Website said in stock and gave a shipping date. It didn't arrive on time and when I started to email about it - they said it was being made at the factory. Came 7 days late. Description says burgundy, and website pic matches that, but dress that arrived is bright red. I understand "variations" but this is way more than a variation. Description says satin - it is not satin - it's a very cheap, thin material, almost see through, tacky at best. Please don't get tempted. Based on reviews here, I am not even going to bother with a return because my time is worth more than that. It's a lesson learned.

I ordered a dress, paid for expedited shipping and received the dress weeks later. Dress had an awful smell and was waaaay to small. I contacted simple dress and they bs me for 3 days to later tell me they would not be able to exchange or refund me my money. The lining of the dress was messed up, material was cheap, horrible fishy smell & the dress was ripped. Don't buy from this website not only do they sell u garbage but they are extremely rude!

So I don't typically review things but I looked at a lot of reviews when buying from here and wanted to share my experience. I'm in my cousin's wedding, one of her bridesmaids found the dresses on simple-dress.com and I decided I'd be the guinea pig before everyone went and bought a dress that either doesn't come or looks terrible. SO I did the quicker 10 day shipping option, the dress didn't come for a month. Which, that's fine I was smart enough to buy a dress for a wedding in October in April knowing international shipping isn't usually quick or on time. But you do pay extra for this and I'd recommend it because I can't say how long it'd take without that option! Next, I ordered a size 4, I'm usually a size 2 but foreign sizes fit funny I'd rather it run big than too small. The dress is a bit big, not huge, but certainly needs to be taken in, which again, is fine. The material isn't like some fabulous material it's definitely cheaper but when the dress is on it looks good and you'd never know it's cheap. The dress is not exactly as pictured. It's a replica. Whichever i also knew was the case, but I have a feeling most people don't know this when ordering from one of these sites. Still a beautiful dress just not exactly as pictured. Finally, I know some people had issues contacting the website, I emailed them and they got back to me in 24 hours. Maybe I got lucky, but I got a well written response.
