I was in love with the experience project and the only thing I'd really change back is to make it easier to find older post and essentially stop notifying the whole site when a post goes up.

One of the things I loved about EP was all the hits I got were Targeted Traffic from people who had searched terms rather than the whole site because unfortunately notifying the entire website of my activity just invites the trollish responses.

There are a lot there- But you know the same snot nosed $#*! for brains exist on all social networks so it's not SW that's the problem.

I have came to except this site but I'm not crazy about it. I think there are ways to improve this site.

I think that everyone chats should be in a row oldest first and go from there. So you can always have the option to go back and read all of your older posts.

Each of your friends should be at your fingertips easy to find all of your chat buddies with your favorite ones the easiest to find.

I wish that there was a easy way to share photos here. I haven't ever been able to send but two or three pictures at a time.

It took over from experience project otherwise we would have had nowhere to share our feelings and experiences.
You can be upfront and post your own photos and name or feel comfortable using the available anonymity. Public and private messages. Posts and questions.
Lots of great people but of course just like irl there are unpleasant characters. The admins jump on problems but with a growing site that is a challenge.
Functionality being improved all the time.

Give it a try. No cost involved. Been there over 4 years.

I've made a lot of great friends there.

There are lots of kind, interesting people on this site,
But yes, a number of trolls as well.

The Admins do seem to handle them fast enough though.
It looks like most of those bad users who got permanently banned. Cam over here to leave fake reviews about similar worlds!

Whoever said that those bad reviews of this cesspool are dishonest has no idea what they're talking about.

SimilarWorlds is absolute garbage. It is full of overly aggressive users and admins and mods who defend them at any cost. Before I left this horrible website I had several friends banned from there just because they got in arguments and fights with some of the admins's favorite users, who seem to constantly be in contact.
There's a huge mob mentality on this website... oh and a lot of diaper fetishes.

Admins and moderators on this site deletes your content simply if they feel like it. It's not run by professionals following rules, but rather they make up the rules as they go along.

My comments were deleted by one of the founders of the website for referring to him banning the use of the phrase "ad-blocker". Apparently you're not allowed to talk about the words they ban, nor "ad-blocker".

Commenting on their decision to delete my harmless comment then resulted in a warning on my account reading:

"Reason: Perpetuating personal arguments publicly.
How to fix: Stop re-posting conversations via screenshots, text or links, and avoid mentioning the usernames of others in a negative context. If you have an issue with other users, please either Block them from contacting you, use the Report Abuse button, or report to local authorities if necessary."

(Honest Review, unlike most others here)

Pros:
- Provided a stable home for ex EP members.
- Staff, the admins & mods are all kind and professional.
- Develops a lot of neat features and improvements, and listens to user feedback.
- Has a lot of security measures in place to protect teens on the site.
- Goes out of their way to tackle child abuse and predators (report to law enforcement), unlike other social networks.

Cons:
- Needs more staff, to tackle issues and abusive users more quickly.
- Could improve the offered list of groups (which they said they are working on)

The reviews on here that claiming that the Similar Worlds staff supports predators, are 100% false.
They in fact work with law enforcement on these cases, which is a process that can take time.

Those false reviews sound like troublemaker users who didn't like the fact that they got limited or banned from the site...

This site has NO standard of fairness or enforcement of moderation.

For example:

I received threats from a user over her many multiple accounts, and because she and her various cohorts are fairly popular...

When I grew tired of being harassed and reported it. Guess what.

Admin turned it around. Defended them. Ignored my evidence and promptly banned me. Without question.

Apparently she's someone's favorite daughter or girlfriend. When it's like that...

Decent users don't stand a chance.

So, after trying to get my account and plead to the admin. They let my account be unbanned. So, its been fun. I post Gif, I talk to people, there are very nice people that I can relate to but the downsize is that there are some very unstable people on there that try to report you and get you banned. There are some users, long time users that I have noticed that I had no beef with them are very... awful. I've never interacted with them but they can say some right out horrible things. You have to navigate around them by blocking them. I do believe that these users should be given a warning for making false reports. I do hope the Admins get the control on those abusing the flag report.

Any place where people gather there will be good and bad people. You can block, mute and report people also. The site is what you make of it and what you put your energy into. There are wonderful people on there that give lots of advice and support and encouragement and lots of interesting experiences and stories and poems shared. There are also trolls and bullies. There is also a block, mute and report button. I dont argue with anybody. I simple block people who are looking to argue or cause drama. I also do not look for problems either. Even on youtube, or facebook or anywhere theres combative individuals, but if you dont want them interacting with you, a simple block or mute will do the trick and also not feeding into it. And that goes for the perverts too. The site has a lot of wonderful people and id hate for that part of this site to be overlooked because of some bad apples.

While slightly offensive nonsense is tolerated the moderators on SW permit the free exercise of opinions and they never impose their authority on participants who maintain reasonable positions. The board is widely versatile and is very well maintained. The negative reviews I've been reading are assuredly written by left-wingers who cannot tolerate the level of freedom of expression permitted by SW Administrators.

I'm a member of multiple discussion/politics forums including World Discussion Forum and Historum.com (both of which are excellent), and I've been ousted from one Christian Politics forum and one World Politics Forum, but as of yet have not been banned from Similar Worlds (SW) as "MyParentsAreProud" (though I have received a few warnings --- but hey who hasn't on the anarchistic World Wide Web?). It really has something... for everyone. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for multi-faceted pedestrian/professional perspectives on all kinds of modern issues relevant to American society and global culture (commerce, celebrity, culinary arts, whatever).

The only drawback is that the opinions are strong, so be prepared to be shunned and/or criticized shrewdly about the intentions/intelligibility of your comments by Neo Leftists.

SW deserves some kudos/honors for those responsible for organizing/coordinating/choreographing it. There's even fun sections for those looking to blither and offer gibberish about why Trump is not Jesus.

Absolutely disgusting. I'm on my final warning at risk of suspension when I have a vip account and I was sticking up for myself as I was getting harassed I've been there over six months and this is my first warning on my vip account and they are planning on banning me forever. I have another account which I post art on which had also been reported when I have never harassed anyone on it and that is at risk of suspension. I'm not aloud to create any more accounts and the admins have accused me of pretending to be other members yet I've tried to verify my account to prove I'm real and they have ignored it. All of the trollls and bullies haven't been warned and I have which is unfair. I've opened up two cases with them and they marked it as resolved but didn't do nothing to help me and aren't on my side. I think it's so sick how they keep pedophiles on it and keep rapists and bully's on the site but I get warned and I was only trying to stick up for myself. I even reported the bullies and guess what they got away with it and I was the one who got blamed for harassing them. Now I have lost nearly all of my Freinds and half of them wont talk to me as they don't trust me anymore over something I didn't even do and then I was forced to deactivate as some of my Freinds stopped talking to me and completely ghosted me. I use the account to talk about my issues at home as an teen can't deal with everything themselves I post art and photography which I own rights to and I ask questions about life and world issues. And now I have to suffer as I have nobody to talk to and no where to vent.

I was on there during the beginning and last month after I deleted my account there. My first take on this is very depressing how many users act on there.

I don't like the fact that many latest lame EP members are there and only few good ones. To top it off with the same pedos. Same $#*!heads. Same Fake profiles and it seems like everybody gave up life and continue to complain about same old Blocking Drama as well. It never gets old to them because their life is nothing more than Mentally ill Patients who have nothing better to do or nothing better to post. Bunch of anti social $#*! roaches and they deserve to stay on this hell hole for the sake of this world. To escape from reality to Hell. I'm glad I deleted my account. Wish EP is back though without the stupid APP

What can I say about this site? Sure, it was a great place to go when experience project left us to dry. I thought this site would be great but turns out that it is very terrible. The admins are very biased, very unprofessional, they play favourites and ban those that didn't do anything wrong because of a poor spam system that bans you. The service of customer support is non existent like the users sex life. The amount of filth that you end up reading makes you wonder how lacking humanity is and that if a alien race ever came to this planet and thought "Hmm. Should we allow them to live?" Dear god, I would hijack their ship and blow the planet up myself. All I can say is... BRING BACK EXPERIENCE PROJECT!
