In SW, i find peace, it is my favorite corner in the internet. There, i can share my ideas with people have the same interests, i can ask questions and get instant answers, i really love this website
Similar worlds
It's a good place to go and talk to people with things going on in there life's just like you are going through. Sure you have to dig through the trash but you might just find some treasures along the way. You can block people from talking to you if you want to. Every site has its strange areas and similar worlds is no different. There are trolls and smart mouthed folks to like any place else. The ads get to be a bit much at times but it is my own fault for being cheap lol I've only had one problem since I been here and it was dealt with swiftly. I hear people complain about getting unwanted pictures and comments but I been here since it came in to being and never received any nude pics, a couple of unwanted comments but nothing to cry over, in my opinion this site is as good if not better than most, especially those that have so much drama on them.
That's my opinion on similar worlds take or leave it but don't blame me if you go to a site that's a living nightmare
Justice for all
This is a place where I can be myself and share my insight to those who wish to read what I have to say
I used to be a member of EP and I remember it as a place to vent and be yourself (kinks, fetishes, whatever you wanted to post about really). It's become a watered down site full of crybaby whiners who get offended easily and judge others for what they're into. There's a gang of women (and some whimpering simps as well) that mass report you and have you banned if they don't like you or find what they deem "offensive". They'll gang up on you and all their little friends will follow suit until you either leave or are banned from the site. If you want a place where idiots post selfies constantly, political posts run rampant, there are hundreds of simps kissing $#*!, women posting pics of cats and coffee or cry about their past abuse and you have people there offering fake love and support, can't post anything on your mind or that you're into even if it's mildly taboo or you'll get attacked by the gang of condescending women who'll have white knight idiots run to their defense, you're pretty much stuck having to be a kiss $#*!, a boring $#*! who posts about music, food, or how cute puppies are, yeah that place is for boring basic people with no concept of true individuality. You won't fit in unless (as I stated before) you kiss the more popular users asses. If you don't you'll be bullied and admin won't do anything about it. If you defend yourself you'll get banned. Save yourself the aggravation and find a place with more open minded people, not that boring super restricted $#*!hole those stuck up, uptight women made it
Similar worlds like the name suggests, connects you to like minded people. It's a no judgment space where you can be yourself. Everyone has their own opinion, their own life going on there. There's no herd mentality to be found. It allows you to be free.
I really enjoy Similar Worlds. I have met some really interesting and awesome people there. And the best part is you have the option of blocking anyone who says things that upset you or even annoy you. They also have a feature of giving a nudity warning if you are going to post a naughty photo. Anyone who does not want to see such a photo does not have to open it.
Its a cool place to talk about various topics, give advice, ask for advice, express funny thoughts or deeper issues. Being anonymous it can attract some very weird people but on the click of a button you can easily never see again whoever you don't want to see anymore. Without the block button you might run into some really weird posts and weird opinions. With a proper use of the block button you can exchange and chat with a bunch of polite, decent people.
Similar Worlds is a good place to pass some time. Sometimes I ought to be doing something more productive, but if I weren't wasting time at Similar Worlds I'd be wasting it somewhere else! There are nice people there. Despicable people. Funny people. People who are looking for friends, people who want to tell jokes, talk about their love life, talk politics. People who want advice, people who want to give advice. After a while some people will be very familiar to you.
Having joined in June 2017 I have had nothing but a positive experience here.
I interact with many people worldwide which I find amazing, being a sort or hermit. My experience is only positive because I completely ignore those who attempt to ruin my time there.
By not responding to to those negative people at all then one is left alone to share wonderful experiences of life.
There are games to play, music to listen to, one can run quizzes and give gifts as prizes. You can follow members, have special friends, give advice, lament your life's experiences if that is your want.
Me? I truly love being able to post my wildlife pictures of Australia's animals, places, Sunsets etc.
To share my adventures(with pictures), my latest being a Hot Air Balloon Ride out of Northam.
Similar worlds is one of two Social Networks Sites I am a member of and I give it top marks.
Great way to meet people and interact anonymously. It's easily the best successor to the Experience Project that I've found so far. I only wish it had a mobile app the way EP did.
Though no one seems to remember the original similarworlds.com was experienceproject.net. Regardless, What is encompassed by the free exchange of experiences, instead of filled with dramatic responses, is asked as a question(s). The "poignant Question" If you will?.
My name is Blodyn. I am 20 and I been on Similar Worlds since it started. Quite a few years. It's like nothing else on Earth. We are a community, a family. We trust each other. And the staff are really dedicated. When I was younger they made sure to keep me safe. Well they still do keep me safe but you know what I mean. Because people who are not really wishing the good of other people do sadly creep in and when you are older like me you have the option of blocking them but when I was younger the website protected me from them. So if you're in your teens give it a go. Tell everyone about your interests. There'll be someone who will want to talk to you. I talk to people from all over the world. And sometimes you make life long friends!
This is a great locale to let your hair down, let your thoughts and feeling flow freely. If a person loves to live vicariously through the actions of others, there are many accounts to read, satiating the desires.
A fun place to just have fun and meet some good people... and although they have a few troublemakers like every social forum out there, they have an A+ moderators who act swiftly when trouble arises
I think similar worlds is great to learn about others and share things that are inspiring to us. I like reading all the stories.
Similarworlds offers an open platform for social interation for people over 18. As with any open forum there is some misuse. The site is self regulating with a responsive admin staff should inappropriate content or behavior be reported. I have had the opportunity to interact with intelligent, humorous thought provoking people from all over the planet. There are mechanisms in place to block interactions if they are undesirable. It is what you make it! I find it enjoyable and light hearted. It is addictive but that's my problem not the sites. Like all things socially interactive you are empowered to watch it, read it, or switch it off. It's one if the better sites out there that I've seen..
I rather like visiting Similar Worlds. I have met some interesting people there, and we discuss everything from politics to history, writing to how bad the Scottish football team are this season!
It's a unique site for sure and what makes it that is that you can see content from every group and every user, unlike most sites where you can just see what you subscribe to. This can be a negative to some, but I think it's the way to truly connect to people, plus you can block whoever you want. The anonymity is what attracts many questionable people though, so be careful while you're at it!
Similar World is a great discussion site. You can go there to vent, have some laughs & post. As with any site, you need to be cautious. Not everything is believer. But once you become a regular poster, people get to know you, & you become part of the community. The same goes for people who comment often. Of course, there are also users who aren't genuine & are there to make others miserable, but that's what the block & mute buttons are for. The admins & moderators on the site try their best to update the site, respond to reports & complaints, & ban certain users. It's a community site with both good & bad users, but it's a great site overall.
Answer: They will never address it! They condone it! This site needs to be shut down as it is causing depression among its users. The cyber bullying that takes place on this site is unacceptable.
