This site is unsafe and at least once a week I received messages from scammers. I was the one that even had to notify them of people hijacking other people's profiles and creating fake ones. Their customer service is atrocious at best- they are based in Germany and don't communicate well or understand issues with their site. I had a 6 month membership and cancelled it so it wouldn't renew within the first 6 weeks of subscribing and double checked my cancellation monthly to make sure it wouldn't end. Then on the date of it ending they changed the cancellation and billed me for an auto renewal. I think my account must have been hacked as well. I emailed them that day and they would not refund my money. They are Horrible- stay away

I met a nice guy who claimed he was an expert sharp shooter who was finishing his contract in Turkey. He was done in July 2023 n back home to Michigan. We hit it off well with lots of plans for our future together. He went on a tour for 10 days or so n when he came back he said he twisted his knee while running from gun fighting. He had surgery n since I worked in the operating room for 25 years I knew what kind of questions to ask him. Everytime I would ask what did the Dr do, he would reply, Dr said I'll be fine. His 16 yr old daughters bday was in July. She was living with her grandmother cause her mother passed 2 yrs ago of cancer. We were texting (always texting never phone calls)n he said Paula's bday was in few days n could I send her 5000.00. I asked why so much. She loves shoes n bags, n he wanted to upgrade her electronics. I asked why not have mother in law buy her gifts till u get home in a few weeks? Or why couldn't he just send her the money. When these shooters come back from a mission, they had to be deactivated including his computer. This time his computer wasn't working properly n he couldn't send money. Then I said to get it fixed or wait till u get home. So I refused to send money. That was the day he became so mad at me which I finally called him a scamer. That was the last time in over a week he talked to me. So I decided to tell him I'll send money (which I wasn't but wanted to see how he would of given me the info I wanted n I wanted to see how this scam worked.) He never sent me his mother in laws info. N I haven't spoken to him again. I would like to post pics of him so other women could be warned about him. His name is Kenny Kyle Oates.

For what you pay and what you get, my advice pay more and go somewhere else! Most of the people they send you have no profile picture which leads me to believe they aren't real accounts. These are filler to make it appear there are all these people interested in you. I have gotten likes and visits from people in other states that are no where near my 100 mile radius I set for distance. According to what I've read you are supposed to get 3 matches per day. I go days without anything other than some name with no picture or from some other state like Indiana or Colorado which are not even close to each other. This site is a scam!

Several months of my life wasted in a site that I just found out is not even from the United States, was this an scam?
Why is so impossible to get a hold of a human being in that organization? Are they legitimate? I deserve an explanation, they have my email address and my telephone number, at least send me an email and explain who you are and why you do not have human beings answering questions and/or calling the clients? I cancelled this subscription several months ago and they continued charging my credit card, anybody knows what is going on with this website?

The site is a plethora of scammers. There seems to be no regulation/criteria. Multiple "blank" photos. Strongly suggest: don't go there and if you do, proceed with extreme caution.

Don't waste your time or $$$. I'm an active, attractive 63 years young lady. 1/2 the profiles have no pictures. Limited in ways to contact besides a smiley face at this stage of our lives. Not wanting to be negative, however in the spirit of communication treat yourself to a fantastic dinner and skip this site. Honestly just another useless one.

Every profile to which I've responded turns out to be an inactive member. They are listed as Iiving in the same area, widowed, no children.

50% scam horrible functionality, you pay them for service and they cant even offer a straight forward log in that works. Most of the time you wont be able to access to even get your moneys worth. They will censor you if you are a Christian or lean to the right while openly supporting the communist left

Candidates are mostly uneducated dull men. Very old. Forget about sophisticated conversations. Dull and stupid.

DO NOT sign up for this app or give them one more penny! I have only received so-called "matches" hundreds of miles away when my preference is set at 50 miles max. As a non-religious person, I knew this app was a hoax when all my matches have had strong religious faith. Also, I am not looking for LTR but once again, SS matched me with those looking for marriage. Lastly, you CANNOT search or browse profiles. You can only go by what SS suggests and they only send 20 each day. This app really needs a major overhaul.

Horrible site! I wish I had read reviews before they ripped me off! It takes TIME to complete their questionnaire, matches are from all over the country, they don't meet your preferences, very unattractive people! NO REFUNDS after 3 days. This site is a scam as far I can see!

I've been on this site for over a month. I have received 10 matches and only one responded. There is no realistic chance of meeting anyone on this site. Save Your Money, I wish I had.

This app looks good from the front. There's no interactivity except in-site mailing. Also I was catfished by someone pretty hard who steals pictures from the internet. I think this person actually works for the site to generate interest in procuring a membership.

All you can see are messages, matches and visitors. No Chat Feature. The matches aren't even close to the filters. Most of the matches are from out of state.

Here are the actual Delete instructions

We will not be able to refund you the remainder of your membership subscription. To delete your profile, please click here."

They do not give refunds. Don't buy the whole year. It's a bunch of dead profiles. They don't let you delete information out of the profile. What a waste of $239.00

They completely ignored the religion boxes I checked and sent me matches that I would not meet if they were the last people on earth.

I am a single professional woman. I joined silver singles for a 3 month membership hoping like most people to connect to someone else looking for a relationship. Instead, I found every scam in the book. Fortunately, a friend told me about been verified. I paid 5 dollars and was able to check into men who contacted me. I found scam after scam and men with police records and restraining orders! I had one man contact me that he was leaving the military soon. Another scam to get money from unsuspecting women! Each day I received messages from Silver Singles asking if I had met such and such yet. You never know what their membership status is and if they even can contact you back. I specifically chose areas within 100 miles from my home and get matches from all over the country. Basically this was a waste of time and a dangerous site to be on. Please check out who you are matched with before meeting anyone or giving anyone personal information. I tried to contact silver singles at the phone number provided but there is no one really answering the phones. I cancelled my membership before my first month was over. Since they won't bother to ask me why, I wrote this review to help you not waste your money.

They are robbers! They don't mislead, deceive or rob their customers. SilverSingles simply steal from their consumers. It's utterly useless clunky site –a money-making machine, a tool to drain peoples' bank accounts. They subscribe you for additional features, more advanced messaging options, etc without ever notifying you and they renew it every month. No legal site ever does this! In addition, SilverSingles made their cancellation policy a nightmare – it's a plain rip off. They just ignore all your attempts, inquiries and requests to cancel. It's extremely fraudulent company. Please avoid it!
