I've been on this site for 4 months... 2 messages so far - 1 local and 1 over 500 mi away (beyond my limit)... very nice guys... but both are leaving the site - why you ask. Like me they are disappointed... I think 3/4 of the profiles are fake... I've sent a number of photo requests and nothing in return... sent out many smiley faces and nothing in return (well ok 2)... I'm a nice person, relatively pleasant looking at my age n stage, not a gold hunter, well education, informed and... this does not bode well for the self esteem... signing off as dupped and trust yourself its not you

#1. They say it's free, nothing it's free only free is to put all your information with pic there, but you can't see anything or even delete your file without paying very pricey fee. And when you pay you will see people 100 mile away. Don't even start with, waist of money, donation.

I had original used a cc that I have since replaced, so when they tried to do an automatic renewal it failed...
I received notification that it had failed so I logged in to delete/cancel my membership
Now they are hounding me for non payment and citing their term and conditions as to proper notification of cancelling the membership, which involves writing them a letter requesting cancellation
Deletion of an account is not enough...
There office is in Berlin Germany so I'm not sure how far they can push it in regards to my credit rating

Matches come from all over the country so are quite unrealistic. The site does not ask a useful question about height requirements only how important it is that a partners height matches yours. Most women want a man who is taller and few men do. If you try to limit matches to those within geographical reach they put you off by saying this will limit your matches. Several days go by without any matches. I'm pretty sure that I have had scammers interact with me but I can't prove it.

They start by asking you about yourself and then what you want in a mate. They then build a profile and start sending you whatever and whoever they want. They don't follow your requests for only to receive people within your area, non smoker and people with your personality. They will not refund your money when you complain.
I was sent people that live on a complete different coast than I do. I live in Florida and I received profiles for people in Minnesota. They send me profiles of people that smoke. It's ridiculous. What a scam! Don't ever use this service. You would be better picking up men on a street corner.

I've been a member for 6 months and 99% of my matches according to my profile were from the most homely looking women Ive ever seen. One would think that they would post an attractive picture of themselves but the all look like they just rolled out of bed.The few that were attractive never responded to any of my quires.
I did have one woman that needed money to return to the USA, she was stranded and broke in Turkey after a diamond buying spree... she would pay me back with diamonds... I assume she is still stranded, or maybe some knucklehead sent her money.
If these women want to lure a man into their lives they need to look like a women and not post ugly pictures of themselves.

To investigate as this site is such a fraud. OMG, how is it that it's not been covered before on Dateline or 48 Hours on TV? There are so many "cat fishers" on this site. They ask for your personal email and phone number, then they disappear. Why is it that in a city of hundreds of thousands of people that most all of the supposed "matches" come from cities many miles away from where you live. What a joke. Don't join this site if you are looking for true matches and love. It's a huge scam in my opinion! I would give this site after spending my good money a zero if possible.

SilverSingles is a scam, I didn't read the above reviews 1st... S. S. Claims that you can view members before joining... Wrong, Bells & Whisles goes off, so I join up, and I find 200 member online, in a 100 mile radius of Dallas, Fort Worth Texas area, So I use my iPad to take pictures of all 200 of them, of that 190 haven't been online in over a month or two (per the site), and the remaining 10 are fakes, no response from them in a month. I signed up in June of 2019, I canceled Before July renewal. I haven't been there in 3 months and I'm still getting emails from S. S. that someone is viewing my page and is interested in me... Then I get Ransonware malware... completely killed my new computer, because I hadn't installed Virus program... Fake company, Headquaters in foreign countries... good luck getting you money back...
