Unethical, rude staff, and still no product delivery! I'm just trying to find out where my package went and they can't even tell me that. This is the second time I've ordered it, and the second time Its "gotten lost". It's a waste of money AND time. Everyone else has been able to adapt to the pandemic EXCEPT them. They are slow and their quality isn't even that great.
So the products itself are fairly nice but the amount of time it takes to actually ship is ridiculous. It doesn't matter if you pay extra for shipping. It's still really f*cking slow. And items constantly get lost in transit. It's never just a one time occurrence, it's often. This wouldn't be a good last minute gift bc of the time frame it takes to actually ship. If you purchase from Shutterfly, make sure you do it 2 months in advance to allow yourself time for lost packages and or mistakes made on your order. Nice thing is they refund your shipment hah but ehh they could do better honestly. Such a great idea but this company lacks extremely. I've really tried to give Shutterfly a chance and have ordered multiple items on multiple occasions but with this last order, I am done with Shutterfly and will never use their service again. I ordered items in December and guess what? An item is missing and lost. Waiting for reshipment. Other orders were shipped late and after the estimated delivery with EXTRA payment for shipping costs to avoid the packages being late. Nope didn't matter so don't waste your money on paying extra for shipping. Doesn't matter. It will always be late and or an item will be lost unfortunately. With such great deals, prices and just great products they offer, I'm really surprised this company still exists. Whoever the CEO/Management is of this company should be expelled entirely bc they f*cking suck. Instead of improving the company, it's just been sh*t.

I have dealt with Shutterfly before, but this time 2 different times I have received pictures with the subject's head cut off! Don't they look at the products before sending them?
I purchased several items off Shutterfly for Xmas presents in 2021. I was supposed to get free shipping on my order but once placed I was charged $117 for shipping.
I emailed Shutterfly twice about this issue with no reply to either email.
I then started receiving my items, shipped individually which was ridiculous since I ordered many items, and found the quality on most items to be poor. Fridge magnets had weird artifacts on the print and one of them had a corner peeling off. I ordered a color changing mug that changes when it is hot but you have to put boiling hot liquids in the cup to get it to change so pretty much useless, coffee is only hot enough if it is scorching hot and the image fades shortly after it starts cooling down.
I also received two 1000 piece puzzles which I gave as Xmas presents only to recently hear back from BOTH recipients saying that both puzzles were missing pieces and one had pieces from a completely different puzzle (green pieces when there was zero green in the photo).
I still have not received any reply from either of my emails and there is little to no info on their website about returns or complaints.
Overall terrible experience. Will never use them again and would never recommend to anyone for any reason.
I have made several photo books with Shutterfly. They are beautiful, excellent quality books. However, I spend so much extra time fighting with their website, it is too frustrating. The website shuts down for no reason, I am unable to upload photos to an album for hours, and then it does not save my changes. They obviously need to do some major website updating.
Where's my pictures at tf. They robbed me. Still haven't received my package. I'm salty as hell! Like i'm mad.
I usually have luck but I ordered three things and only one was made and delivered the other two just have been saying in production for a week
Decided to try Shutterfly this year for my holiday cards. After 4 days of trying to complete a photo card because the site kept freezing then NOT saving my project, I decided to go back to my reliable Vistaprint and completed my card in 20 minutes. Shutterfly waisted my precious time and my time is too valuable. I even reach out to customer service and they were absolutely no help.
I ordered 2 phone cases not realizing I had ordered one without the hard liner. I contacted Shutterfly and thought no problem I can have them send me a liner. I was told because I didn't order it with the phone they couldn't send me just the liner. They gave me a useless $10 off coupon and I had to order and pay for another whole phone case. Another $30+ dollars for a phone case. Now mind you they were sending me the liner when they thought they forgot to send it but once they reviewed the acct they said since I didn't order it correctly I had to order a whole new phone case. I wasn't asking for it to be free I would have paid for just the liner. Very dissatisfied with the way they handled this situation. I will never order from them again.
I uploaded 5 X 7 and 8 X 10 scanned photos at high resolution of 1600dpi. I purchased ten 11 X 14 prints. I threw every last one out. All of the prints looked like I was looking through a fish tank of water. Totally useless prints and a waste of $100. I cannot believe a company like this could stay in business with such horrible quality prints. This was my first purchase from them and now it is my last.
Thank you Shutterfly! I made an order of less than 10 photos and when 2 weeks passed by (now after Christmas) I realized I never got them. I had to reach out (they never did) and ask why they were never delivered. No explanation except a "we will resubmit the order and provide the fastest shipping available).
This would mean overnighting it. NOPE. New order could take up to 2 more weeks to come in. Waiting a full month for 10 photos? Seriously? And saying you will go with the fastest shipping service available LOL the afstest avalable is overnight not another 2 weeks.
Our main picture was washed out, the photo was professionally done and downloaded from the photographer as a digital copy. They did not include the back. We also selected to have them stamped and sent and now they arrived at my house 12/28 and will not get to anyone until next year. We've always used them and usually have a great experience. This year was not. I tried to contact them and it was impossible without downloading the app that I don't want on my phone.
I paid 30 for shipping. The package was supposed to come almost a week late. It was lost and the BBB has had several complaints. These people are scammers. Just read the reviews. They ruined a 10 yr olds Christmas.

I had an enlargement made of my husband in his military uniform. The top of his head and a large portion of his arms were not showing which is pretty important when wearing a military uniform. It was very disappointing to receive the "fixed" photo looking the same way... Very disappointed in the quality... I mean, how hard is it? So much for this Christmas gift...
Ordered 60 cards for Xmas middle of December. Realized after. 5 hour the order was placed, they would arrive too late to use. About 45 minutes after the order was submitted, I attempted to cancel. NOPE! You have. 5 hour to cancel and THAT IS IT! This happened over the weekend, so I called Monday morning to talk with customer support. I was told I cannot cancel because their system is DOWN! Unbelievable! I even spoke with a manager who said the same. I was then told to wait until the cards were delivered to call and cancel. I did and still could NOT cancel. Now they required my wife to authorize the CANCELLATION! I waited and called back the next day when she was home. Keep in mind, they require you to go back through WHY you are cancelling with each call. Customer support person is barely functional. Seems entertained by the dilemma. Each call took about 30-40 minutes. TERRIBLE company culture to think it is OK to make people work so hard to cancel a single, small, unuseable order. One person told me to throw the cards in the trash and the next wants the cards shipped back. I am not sure what food is in the break room, but it has to be infused with mind altering material. NEVER AGAIN!
Wish I saw this site first but who would have thought to look up such a well known company that's been around for so long. Ordered an album and magnet on Nov 30th. Got my magnet on December 7th, the day before Xmas now and the album is nowhere to be found. Since you cannot get a hold of anyone in customer service I went to my post office (twice) who said they use the slowest method of shipment possible and my package is just sitting at a warehouse in a pile because it's lowest priority. I asked shutterfly for a refund, they can't even give you a confirmation number they just say okay, we will refund. If i don't get it in a week I will be disputing the charge on my card and will never, EVER use them again. I really hope they go out of business, they can't operate like this.
I have used Shutterfly for a long time and have never been disappointed until this year. I paid over 20 dollars for shipping, which is more than I have paid for anything else this year! It said it would be here before Christmas and now today it's saying the 27th. Every day it's later and later. For paying so much, I thought I would at least get my stuff in a timely manner. I understand it's a busy time of the year, but 20 dollars for pictures to ship is ridiculous, and to not even get on time.
I ordered nearly $500 worth of products. They sent me the art without the hardware to hang half of it. When I contacted customer support, they resent me the wrong parts of my order. When I contacted them again, they again sent me the wrong parts of my order. Will never buy from them again.
