Terrible Customer Service

Order placed on 30/11 and still no progress whatsoever! Called them 3 times to be told "it will ship within 24hrs" and still nothing... promised call backs never happen and they never reply to emails! Truly terrible site!

I ordered a bedding set for my grandson and it came in a flimsy plastic bag that was all torn. I had to remove a hair from the bedspread. For the price it could have come in a nice zippered bag and clean.

Terrible...

Placed order Nov. 11th tracking info said it was shipped the 14th... my ccard was charged immediately... today is December 18th and still no package... called twice- first time was told I should get it within a week to 11 days... just got off phone again n said parcel was lost n they are going to reimburse me... don't know if I'll see that reimbursement on my card... couldn't even reorder as I was told items were out of stock... sounds like a huge scam to me... beware... I know I will never order from this site again.

Worst Site Ever

Worst site ever. Ordered dec. 2 was guaranteed to be shipped by Dec. 13 after several delays and emails saying I could cancel my order. I was unable to cancel my order and was told too bad. One of my items it out of stock and can not even get a refund on that item

Just don't Buy from them

The reviews say it all - I bought 2 jerseys which aren't real jerseys, and the numbers were coming off in 2 wears. Even though the website says 90 days return, mine was "direct from the manufacturer " so only 30 days to return. It was 31 days so I can suck it. And best part is there is no phone number for customer service! This was on online chat.
Never again!

Received a jersey with the incorrect number on the back. The real number is 37 and the back says 73. However, the sleeve is correct. Was told the company is out of this product and they can't do anything but refund me which will take 10 business days to process after the 7 business days to get the item sent back to them. They offered a 20% coupon, upon my complaint to a manager, however can't just give me a custom jersey. I spent good money to get a product that was awful and was told they can effectively do nothing. It's ridiculous that they can't correct their error and the customers have to suffer. Being it's Christmas I can't afford another jersey and won't get refunded until late January. Will not ever recommend this site or company to anyone.

Ordered a hockey jersey for Christmas. Was never delivered on date promised and returned to the company. When calling customer service they advised that we could not get it for the same discounted price and would need to purchase at regular price. This company is a complete JOKE as well as there shipping company LASERSHIP

If you see a countdown on an irresistible sale on this website, ignore it. Because the sale recycles itself over & over. The other thing to ignore is the claimed shipping date (typically says 1 business day). Unfortunately, I took the bait and ordered a jersey only to receive an email 2 days latter that it's delayed. Too bad I didn't read the reviews here until after the fact. Called Service and was told I cannot cancel my order although the email said I could if I decided not to wait any longer. After complaining to the supervisor, they agreed to submit a request to cancel and asked me to wait 3-5 days for an email to see if the cancellation is successful. I hope I get my money back. Never have I ordered online from a reputable shop and was charged immediately when the item hasn't been shipped.

Scam - sounds like a good official website but its not! I have rarely heard so much BS - first delivery was supposed to be 3-5 business days then once I placed it it turned into 17 whicih was way too late for xmas... When I tried to change the address on the order - which took an hour and lots of frustrationwith useless repetitive phrsing from the customer service agent - my order was STILL shipped to the wrong address. Also I tried but couldn't cancel it within an hour after placing it - multiple contact with customer service was extremely frustrating - couldnt even find a number to call (*******681) - I hope you never order there or ever

Poor customer Service

I ordered a hoodie Nov 21,2019. On the tracking theyve sent me it says it was processed and shipped Nov 22,2019 with a delivery date of Dec 4. I called them Dec 9 asking for my package and first of all, i was dropped 3 times on a hold. When Im finally able to talk to a rep she said that the package was not delivered and that theyre reshipping it. I asked to talk to a manager for an explanation for my first package. The Manager talked so fast and got frustrated that Im asking too many questions and that were going in circles. He proceeded to talk fast and started yelling at me, not providing an explanation for the first package. I hang up and went online to chat with a representative. She said she cant provide a copy of my phone conversation with the manager. She also said they dont have a complaint form or survey. Lesson learned, dont purchase from this website. Its not worth the headache.

I purchased 3 authentic jerseys 2 weeks ago. A few days ago, I was told one of the 3 jerseys could not be delivered and I was given a full refund. Then today I was told a second of the 3 items would not be delivered and I was given a full refund. I expect that in the next day or so, I will get the same message about my third jersey. Will never shop at NHLshop.com again!

I suppose you could say, at least I got a refund but I was planning on wearing one of those jerseys to an upcoming game. I may try to get a full refund on my tickets, rather than giving any more money to the NHL - which doesn't seem to care about their customers. The items I ordered are not one of a kind, there should be plenty but the NHL does not believe in having inventory sitting around. So maybe their fans should not be sitting around at the games either! Sorry no pictures to add since I haven't received anything yet!

Trying to order sweatshirt... clearly says item is "$69.99 with the code". In big red letters. When out in cart says code does not apply. I CALLED THEM and they said that even though it said that, it doesn't get the discount... BAIT AND SWITCH... should report them to better business bureau!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

I placed an order online and received an email the next day informing me there was a problem with my order and i would be refunded within 2-7 business days. I reordered again only to receive another email stating the same thing. Bothers times I called customer service and was assured my order would go thru. The next day I received another email that my order was cancelled. I called customer service again and she told me that she had 100% success in helping customers lol. So I had her place the order for me and I received an email the next day stating my order was cancelled. Called and they said they forgot to add half my postal code lol. I told em to forget about it. What hassle for nothing. NEVER ordering from nhlshop.ca again. What a load of crap

Don't buy from this site

The website is unbelievably bad and poorly laid out. Discounted codes are not applied and full price is charged.
I placed an order and when I received my final invoice the price nearly doubled. I was told that I didn't include the discount code. The company refused to make an adjustment to the price and suggested I return the item and then place another order with the discounted code. NO WAY! The customer service representative and the supervisor could not make this simple adjustment even though the item had not shipped. I have lost all faith in this company. Buyer beware!

Ordered custom jersey 11/21, with promised shipping date 11/25 and delivery date 11/27. Now they told me it will be shipped 12/6, which is too late. And based on previous reviews, I would not trust that either.

Today is 11/28 and customer service is telling me they can not cancel it, as it is custom. But also they are not able to ship it until 12/6. So either they are lying to me or they really have something extemely wrong at NHL!

Advice: Do not use this site to order anything. And maybe this is way NHL works.

Slowest Shipping Ever

I placed an order for a jersey on November 3rd for the game I am going to on December 10th. Boy was I wrong that 5 weeks would be long enough to receive my order in time. Terribly disappointing.

The item was "in stock" and was supposed to ship on November 12, and be delivered by November 21. I kept receiving emails that it had been delayed, and started getting nervous I was not going to receive my product in time for game day, which defeats the entire purpose of my order. I called their customer service the first time on November 22nd, and was promptly assured it would ship the next day. After receiving two more emails saying it was delayed, I called back the following week and the person I spoke to told me it wasn't shipping until December 4th. In my opinion, the first person I spoke to completely lied to me. I wanted to cancel my order and buy it from a credible company that will actually ship to me in reasonable time (should have ordered from Sportchek in the first place!) I was told I would not be able to cancel my order, but I insisted each email I received saying my order was delayed also said "If I chose not to wait I could cancel The order any time." After speaking with her manager, she agreed to allow me to cancel my order which had not even shipped yet after placing my order 3 weeks prior.

Will definitely never order from this business again, and I will be telling my experience to anyone thinking of ordering from them as well.

Will never order from here again, hope you don't either! Ordered items that were "in stock" and was charged on my credit card immediately. 5 days later still no shipment, called customer service. Said it was too late to cancel because it was in queue and she said it would ship out that day, well obviously it didn't. Got an email the next day indicating there is no ETA that can be given and that I can cancel anytime. So I tried to cancel right then and there and took about 30 minutes back and forth with a rep saying it was too late despite proof of an email from nhl shop saying it was not too late. He couldn't give me a ship date too, quoted a "promised ship date" that I received right after placing the order, well that date was 3 days earlier so obviously a broken "promise". Eventually he said he would open a ticket just to get me off the phone and that I would get a refund and cancellation confirmation within 1-4 days. Hopefully I do, but I am doubtful. What kind of company charges your credit card before shipping the product out, or better yet charges it for product they don't even have stocked? Stay away from them, seriously.

SO BAD, I got a few things from there before, some not in the best condition. But I decided to order some Christmas presents from them a few weeks ago anyway, that was all fine until I tried again yesterday and every single time I tried to put it through it was declined! I tried to contact customer service only to be hung up on a few times and left to ring through the rest. Contacted them VIA twitter hoping for extra help only to be told to ring customer service! After I had told them I had issues with calling customer service! Terrible service. After a few years of shopping with them. I'm going to have to find somewhere else. Because this is shocking

Ordered a hat for $25.99 and noticed it had some threads cut/loose on the side of it. Went to start a return, selected damaged for the reason, then saw I'd only get $18.14 back (original price plus tax, minus $9.99 for how much they charge for shipping a hat back to them). It would cost me barely 3 dollars to ship this back. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I'll never buy from the NHL Shop again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Ordered a shirt for the 2019 Heritage Classic game. Original order was placed September 25th. After three weeks and no word from them I cancelled it due to poor service. I then re-ordered it because there was a 20% discount code that could be applied. It's November 5th and I am still waiting. The game was over a week ago. I called to cancel as there have been no updates only to be told that the order cannot be cancelled as it has gone to the warehouse and will be shipped later this week.

Appalling service and no concept of customer care. Do yourself a big favour and shop elsewhere.

In spite of my previous experiences with NHL Shop I ordered another hockey shirt from them. Again I heard nothing for two weeks then received an email saying that my order would be delayed because of some unspecified issue they were having with their supplier but that ' If you choose not to wait, you may cancel your order at any time.'

So I called the helpline number and spoke with the rudest, most ignorant and unhelpful woman I have ever dealt with in my life who 'explained' that my order could not be cancelled- despite what the email said- because the system would not let her cancel it and that I couldn't speak to a manager or supervisor to try to get it sorted out. I wasn't very happy and hung up on her. Amusingly enough they then sent me a 'customer satisfaction survey' a few minutes after the call. I don't usually bother filling those in, but on this occasion…

I will NOT be ordering anything from this incompetent organization until they learn about customer service-which I suspect may be a very long time.
