I ordered a Winnepeg mug. I got an Islanders(eeeewwwweeee) instead. Contacted customer service. They took care of my issue... I open up my box and another Islanders mug(blehhhhh)
I placed an order, and when I received my confirmation, I was charged for expedited shipping. Be careful because it defaults to expedited shipping. I didn't click on anything for the shipping, so be sure to change it if you do not want that.
I would never purchase anything from NHL Shop again, and I strongly suggest the same for you. The quality is worse than anything I've seen, especially for a company that has the perception of a good name brand. I purchased Blackhawks pants for my wife for Christmas. First off, they are paper thin. Second, she wore them a total of 3 times, and the logo is already peeling off. This is garbage. This company is a complete rip off.
I only write reviews if things are great, or they are terrible. NHL was terrible. I bought an item for my 4 year old nephew. They sent the wrong item (adult large of a different team) a week late. Truly was a terrible experience. I would not use them again and figure out another place to get NHL gear.
Never get the product, never get the money back. They will tell you that thay cannot cancel your order as it is customized but actualy cannot order without names or numbers...
Wish I had seen these reviews before. Ordered Jan 30,2021. My PayPal payment was immediately processed by NHLSHOP and receipt from PayPal but no order confirmation and no delivery. Upon checking, no record of my custom order making it to Checkout. I registered and checked out - now charged twice. PayPal is investigating. They provided a shipping status from USPS that says my package was delivered Feb. 16th. Nope. USPS can't find. Still no response from NHLSHOP. Hoping PayPal will make good on one or both payments. Don't go cheap - go with official NHL dealers!

I received an order I had made with Fanatics and one of the 3 items in the order did not get included. I called Fanatics and they passed on my information to customer service. Not only did they get my issue resolved, they did it in less than 24 hours which was amazing. Tyler took great care of me and his communication and empathy was spot on. Thank you to him for a great job!

If I could give this company one star I would. I ordered items before Christmas and paid for expedited shipping just to be sure they would arrive in time. Only two items arrived before Christmas. The puck case came after Christmas and I am still waiting for the puck. I tried contacting their customer service and was on hold for over an hour... I finally hung up. I did finally get an automated response that it has now been shipped over eight days ago, but still hasn't arrived. I think my expedited shipping should be returned (give the fact that I paid it because it stated it would be here before the holidays), but I can't seem to speak with anyone in customer service. I have never had a company with such horrible customer service. So disappointing if this is the way they represent the NHL.
Don't waste your time with this place. I wish I had to check out this site before ordering. Ordered a framed Boston Bruins Patrice Bergeron 24.5" X 33.5" Framed Player Sign for Christmas. The first one I received had a cracked corner. I chatted online with customer service. They sent out another one. Just received it today and this one was worse. All four corners cracked and the picture slipping out. Terrible quality. I think they get a lot of suckers like me thinking this is an official NHL merchant site. Over priced and cheaply made.
Ordered a hockey jersey for Christmas and it got lost in the mail. The customer service representative I called was kind and very helpful. She had a replacement jersey shipped out right away and I received it today.
I placed an order for a custom jersey as a Christmas gift. Upon receipt of the jersey, the name on the back was incorrect. When I spoke to a Customer Service Representative to ask for a replacement and return of the jersey, I was told custom orders cannot be returned or replaced. I explained the mistake was made by the Manufacturer. The Customer Service Representative told me the policy is final, and I will not have the return or replacement finalized.
Obviously, I will not be purchasing anything from this rip-off site again.
The jerseys from nhl shop.ca are honestly too disgusting to be called remotely close to NHL quality, the numbers, name lettering, and arm numbers look like they were made by a plastered 6 year old and sewn on with a monkey with Tourette's, I'll never buy a product from these pathetic weaklings again as I would rather spend my $250 dollars on sponsoring the North Korean missile program
I ordered 2 jerseys the first was shipped in a timely matter but the delivery service they use is Sprintstar in Canada and they made 1 attempt to deliver it at 8am but I was at work so I missed the buzzer call to my apartment building. Instead of making a second attempt or leaving it at a pick up location they returned it. The second also timely matter but I found out through e-mail they made an attempt at 6am this time but they didn't even call they just returned it to sender. Way to big of a hassle to get the product so I'll never order from them again.
Shipping lists 4-7 day; once paid delivery 3 wks! Called; no answer, they call back hour later, no cancellation!
This company has lost contact with basic core principals of business. They are so self absorbed that they have forgotten that its not about them, its about their customers. They cant keep their own timetables or keep even a simple promise. I paid extra for guaranteed delivery... they sat on it for 5 days before shipping, and no, it did NOT get here on time! When you try to resolve issues through customer service they hold up flamming hoop after flaming hoop to make you do their jobs for them.

Total show ordering from these cats. If you enjoy your custom order being totally wrong and then spending half your day trying to get to talk to a human to try (unsuccessfully) to make it right - this is your company! If you'd rather order a customized shirt that comes as the company says it will, then run - do not walk - in the other direction. Ordered a Vegas shirt for my nephew with his name on it (Stensby #7). He received a shirt that had someone else's name and number (Jones #11). Tried to do an automated return, but the site tells me I can not do this because it's a custom order. So try to find a phone number to talk to someone? Ha! They don't want to talk to you. They want you to use this robot they have online that can't decipher what you say. Then you get to online chat with a human who can't help you. Then if you pester them a bit, you get a phone number to an actual person who can not help you. They told me "someone will call you within 72-96 hours." This is an outfit that is run poorly, but they make up for it with neolithic incompetence on the customer service side once your order is messed up. Thanks, Shop NHL.com! Not good customer service at all he was rude, unsympathetic and just plain useless. When I was just trying to figure out what happened to my package that I got as a Christmas present that hasn't shown up yet.

Answer: Won't do you much good. I used email on the PayPal receipt twice - no response, and used the following one from the "Contact Us" page three times. Never a response Anna: [email protected] PayPal receipt also showed name in Chinese characters and throughout the site you can tell that English is definitely a second language.
Answer: It takes them over a month to even ship orders. Highly suggest buying from Sportchek instead.
