To all those complaining about not getting a response from them, be thankful. I just had possibly the worst interaction I've ever had with a customer service agent I've ever had. Funnily, the agent's name is "Nice". Apparently the person does not live up to the name.
I basically gave some polite feedback (i. E. no exclamation, no threats, no cussing) and told them it was okay not to fix the issue. In return, I got a lecture on how systems work and how I didn't know how to properly use it.
Funnily, "Nice" responds within minutes when aggravating clients. Fastest response times ever. I wish they were as fast in resolving issues.
THEY LOST MY ITEM WHICH WAS A 588$ SURFACE DUO. STILL WAITING FOR THE REFUND UNTIL NOW. DONT TRUST THIS APP
I'm quite surprised that ShippingCart has so many bad reviews. I used their U.S. shipping address 4x now: 2x in 2017, 1x in 2018, and again now in 2021. My experience had all been great. I haven't had missing items. I don't know if my items being relatively inexpensive or niche (mostly books I can't find in PH) have anything to do with it.
Sharing my April 2021 experience with ShippingCart. I had some books ordered from Amazon, and some headphone replacement parts from an audio store in New Jersey. My purchases came in 4 package deliveries. The main reason I use ShippingCart is because I could consolidate my purchases before having them shipped to PH in one go.
ShippingCart was quick to notify me via email when they've received my package, and to notify me again once they've processed it and put it in my cart with pictures for my viewing. So when 1 of my 4 packages was tagged as delivered by USPS, but I received no confirmation from ShippingCart, I got worried that maybe it was delivered to a wrong address as I noticed in USPS' site that the address zip code is wrong. I sent an email to ShippingCart's customer care, to clarify if they had received said package or not, giving them the USPS tracking number as well as a screenshot of USPS' delivered status. I received a reply from customer care the next day. Turned out this package was delivered on a Saturday, so there was some delay processing this. It was resolved the same day they replied to my email.
After my purchases had all been received by ShippingCart and put in my cart, I then went on to having them shipped to PH. As there's only ~Php450 difference between air cargo vs sea cargo (air cargo charge is based on weight, while sea cargo is based on dimensions), I decided to go with air cargo to have my items sooner. I checked out in 22 Apr 2021, Thursday, and paid the shipping fee via PayPal. They had my package shipped out by 26 April 2021, Monday, and then I received it in my PH address (outside NCR) last 30 April 2021, Friday, a whole 6 days earlier than the estimated delivery date of 6 May 2021.
All items are accounted for. No damage as well. Thanks, ShippingCart!
This is the worst company I ever dealth with. They don't even deserve 1 star.
I booked a package to be air shipped to Philippines on 03/14/2021 for item puirchase from Amazon directly delivered to Shippingcart (Hayward, CA).
Item was promptly delivered to shippingcart on March 17 2021 with confirmed receipt and notify me that they need 1 day to inspect and measure the item. Confirmation date 03/19/2021 (Tracking TBA*******501). I saw that ETA was entered on my shippingcart dashboard as 04/02/2021. That alone is very disappointing to get 2-week delivery via airfreight. 04/02/2021 gone by. I did not get any update in my dashboard, it still show 04/02/2021 ETA. I emailed and demand for status of my package. I was told that my concern will be forwarded to Ops Team (maybe they are the Ooops Team). Did not get a response, I emailed agaiin 04/06/2021. No response. Emailed again 04/08/2021. Got an email indicating that my concern is forwarded to the Ops Team (again) and indicated that the email is an auto-responder and not to reply. They used that email for customer service - now they included a notice "This is an auto-responder, please do not reply to this email" (?) ShippingCart is run be shady dishonest people. Emailed again 04/14/2021, again on 04/20/2021. Finally, I was informed that the package Departed 04/20/2021 and ETA 04/23/2021 Manila Int'l Airport. That's a 3-day airfreight. Then another route from their Manila warehouse to final delivery.
Go figure. They received my package March 17,2021. It's now 04/21/2021 and still no definite date when the item will be delivered. That's a very long airfreight schedule. There is no point of sending via commercial air delivery with this company. They do not even give an explanation to redeem themselves. DO NOT BE ANOTHER VICTIM.
I wouldn't recommend anyone using Shipping Cart. From my experience this company consists of liars and theives. My daughter's Radio Flyer Trike, valued at over 60 US dollars, was received by their Haywards Depot on 18 July and then promptly stolen by one of their theiving American employees Although promising to provide a refund nothing has been forthcoming. Shipping Cart Quadx CEO, Dino Araneta, claims everyone who have had their packages "go missing" have received refunds but this is an outright lie. I have written to them on numerous occasions but they almost always ignore my emails or when they decide to respond they fob me off with more bull$#*! They also ignore my messages on Facebook Messenger.
On top of all this, their shipping fees are downright extortion. If you want to be ripped off and have your packages stolen by these scam artists, go right ahead. My advice is don't. I now use My Shopping Box. Unlike Shipping Cart, My Shopping Box delivers promptly and their fees are very reasonable. Anyone that uses Shipping Cart, QuadX or Gogo needs their head read.
I had a small package weighing 0.8 lbs and they charged me with an estimated weight of 7lbs. A 12 dollar item in Amazon and they CHARGED 40 dollars for overseas shipping! I talked and emailed their customer service with no reply/explanation/justification whatsoever. 5 thumbs down!
This pandemic however unfortunate showed that shippingcart.com's operations' lackluster performance and inherent lack of solid management experience. I have lost package contents because repeatedly they cant take photos that show the contents properly without the wrapping materials obscuring the contents. I opted for air shipping but the turnaround time took about the same time as boat shipping. I had some packages that were delayed in shipping, so they sent me SMS that they refund me for the delay, then another SMS that the previous SMS were missent but the tracking number were for my packages. And I keep sending email which theu just a knowledge as received. Lastly, there the chat support that doesnt really do much: the bot and the humans are almost the same. I think they need to hire someone to do damage control for operations and a customer experience manager to teach them how to deal with this. Given these issues i suggest a publicist or a brand manager to manage this fiasco. Everybody is going through times but they can better manage the customer expectation and work through their operations. Good luck if they still have clients in a year.
I consolidated 2 items in one shipment last august 2020 and was told on their web site that two items are on its way. Grant you that the estimated arrival of the packages is on Sept 22 (as of writing this review it is only Sept 12) the shipment arrived early on Sept 10 but instead of two items I only got one. I called LBC and was told that they only scanned one item. So where is my stuff, I messaged them thru their help center by email and by Facebook, all the time I just get the same automated bot to answer me. When the bot Gio contacted me by email and ask what can it do for me. I replied and even uploaded the necessary documents then it would stop. I am loosing sleep over this and it is really bad for my health especially that I am a Covid victim. I am really pissed of, I hope that people reading this will heed our warnings, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PEOPLE THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE TRASH AFTER THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY.
ShippingCart.com misplaced my item over 6 weeks ago and I continue to message them with no resolution to the problem. They create a support ticket then close it in two days saying I never contacted them. I can't do anything to resolve it because they have no living breathing humans to talk to in order to fix the problem so I just sit here screwed over by them and out 400.00 which is the cost of the item they lost. Never think of using their service or should I say lack of service.
Availed their services twice already and so far so good! Received my orders in perfect condition and within the given timeframe. What I love about them is that they consolidate items as compared to My-shoppingbox which I've also tried. Prices are premium but it's worth it for the service you're getting. All my inquiries were answered immediately and I'm on to my 3rd box right now! Just filling up my cart with orders.
Been a customer of Shippingcart for more than 3 years now! Platform is easy to use, they always provide updates about my packages and items bought from US. I never tried buying from UK but planning to try soon. Never had a bad experience at all for the past 3 years.
ShippingCart always delivers my packages ahead of time except if there are unexpected holidays that causes few days of delays specially during peak season, max 3 days delayed based on my experience. Good platform for someone who is teckie person like me. I'm not a fan of manual processing of things like how others do. Door-to-Door delivery is a plus, seamless service. Photos of items are also provided, thus I know if Amazon sent the right item/s they also help in returning the packages if amazon delivered the wrong item.
Tried 3 times and just gave me headache. You're better ff with johnny air. TOOK ME 6 MONTHS and DTI follow ups just to get my money back for a package that THEY LOST
Dont trust this company at all! They are no more than bunch of thieves! I had a package that should already been delivered to me but to my surprise it hasnt even left their warehouse yet! And of course as a customer i would be dissatisfied with it! So i messaged their useless customer service which is not so very helpful at all to have it shipped asap! Now i still have other items with them like expensive items but again to my surprise, they blocked me from accessing my account without even receiving any replies from them when i messaged them about it! How bad can that be? Now what im suppose to do? How would i get those items i bought with my hard earned money? Hope they burn down!
I wrote a review previously on ShippingCart delivering the wrong package. Two months after the bungle, and after many emails and filing for a refund from Paypal, they ended up delivering my package. That was good - but the reality is air shipments are not cheap - we use them because we need something sooner, not later, so my review of that package stays the same - 1 star. But kudos at least for finally getting my goods that I had paid for to me.
So friends report using Shipping Cart for years without ever an issue. And I recently needed something without the delays of my usual sea-route consolidator (Forex Freight - a great company) - so decided to gamble on trying ShippingCart again. I know, I know - I was asking for it! Normally, I won't touch a company again that treated me the way SC did the first time. But there are so few options outside of Manila. So I risked it (and more expensive items, even!). And lo! They came through! Package was delivered today - the date of their original estimate for delivery. So this time i give them 5 stars! But, they did what they contracted to do and what I paid them to do. One time doing your job does not offset another time when they totally bungled it - so my overall rating has gone up one star. A few more completions, and I will give them 3. It will be years before they can get back to 5 stars - that's reality - You can lose a customer very easily, and it is very hard to get them back. Do what you promise, and more important, WHEN YOU SCREW UP, MAKE IT RIGHT ASAP! So one fail (with a way-to-late save), and one completion. I may chance them again.
First time using ShippingCart.com. Being connected to LBC, I thought they would be reliable. WRONG! My LBC envelope was delivered promptly, but inside was an Amazon package meant for someone else. I immediately contacted Shipping Cart, and was assured they would take care of this right away. But for two weeks, I NEVER hear from them unless I email them. Constant promises they will pick up the incorrect package, and deliver the correct one - but none ever kept. Promises to get back to me by a specific day, again - never kept. Useless company. And, do to their association with LBC, I will not be using LBC in the future if I have other options. Very disappointing!
Ordered a CD from eBay UK to their warehouse, Tracking number says delivered and handed to resident but the item is never added to my cart and was told that they cant help me. I just cant believe that they advertise a forwarding service but lacks accountability when they lost an item
Had similar experience. Bought shoes from adidas uk and sent it to our shipping cart account/package. When the package arrived inthe Philippines, the shoes were missing! Customer service cannot be reached, the phone number they placed is unreachable and is just a temporary sim card from tesco mobile!
Theyre a thief! Until now i dont know how to retrieve my shoes back. I asked them to return shoes to sender, but they made tons on requirements again saying i need to send them before return can be done!
Never never trust this company!
I signed up with shippingcart.com recently and was planning to use them to ship some items from US to Philippines. But before doing so, I had a couple of questions so I tried to make contact to their Customer Service using the button on their website. It is completely useless - just giving automated answers that are not at all relevant to my questions. So glad I read these reviews before getting in any deeper. Thank you all for your reviews. I will look for other shipping options and avoid shippingcart

No problem, I contacted customer service with pictures of my package and a description of the problem. After a week, I was e-mailing 3 different agents all asking me for the same thing -- pictures of the package and the sales invoice of the missing product (which I had already sent multiple times).
After not responding to any of my inquiries for over a week, I threatened to do a charge back on my Visa and report them to the BBB. Still, they asked me for pictures of the original package... I couldn't believe it. They are willfully ignorant when it comes to these kinds of complaints -- I believe they are actually stealing packages and giving customers the run around when it comes to issuing refunds.
I gave up. I received no refund on the lost item and am out $25~ for the shipping charge.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL POSSIBLE. You won't receive what you ordered, and you will NOT receive a refund. This company is a complete sham.
At first, they took photos to my items from US and an item have been lost. It took weeks before they could process it. They terribly sorry about the incidents and want to give a refund. Unfortunately, the value of the product cannot be replaced by the refunded amount.
Do not trust this company because they don't hear their customer issues. You'll notice that they remove reviews from their social media because of bad service.
I won't use their service anymore, it is so risky.
Answer: For me the way they do things. Easier to use specially for a techie person like me. Updates are being sent via email and sometimes SMS. Plus the door to door delivery service.
Answer: It's a legit company. Just not a good one. Is it a scam? Depends on how you define: scam". Is it a scam that they threaten to throw away your items after only a short 30 days? Yeah. I think it is.
Answer: Not easy. They use a useless chat bot on the website. The rest is all email, and you will be lucky if someone responds within a day.
