Used to be okay. Like so many... now just AWFUL!

We have used shippingcart.com over the last few years for various items we have to buy from abroad. This year, we bought a lot of our kids' Christmas gifts from the USA. The quality and availability of decent toys in the Philippines is just terrible. We ordered WAY in advance and barely got everything into our shipment by day 30. Why is day 30 important? Because shippingcart.com will now threaten to throw your item away (in other words, keep it for themselves) if you have items in your cart for more than 30 days. Mind you... they CHARGE for storage over the 30 days. But they recently added this thing now where they will throw it away if you don't ship quickly. Clearly... it is a ploy to force customers to make two shipments. Thereby making the company more money by rushing you. TERRIBLE practice and just so low down.

I currently have two shipments that were made (with plenty of advance time). One was air, one was sea freight. The sea freight was due no later than Dec 22. It would have been here in plenty of time except that according to SC, it sat in customs for a full week. I don't believe that though. Most likely. They sat on it. It made its way up to the LBC hub near us. where it was then scheduled to be delivered. First day went by, and then late in the evening we get a notice there's a "shipping issue" and to contact support. Which I did. The rep said "no worries! We were just too busy and we will deliver on the next business day".

Next business day... nothing. At 5:42pm, I see an "out for delivery" status. At 5:45pm? That's odd. But then I remember what these guys do here. If you see that status, and its late in the day. It's full on BS. It's just a plot to give them deniability or excuses about delivery. And I was SPOT ON! I KNEW IT! At 12:10am that night, another status came in saying "shipping issue". So... I contact these jokers again. Full day passes. And then they had the cajones to say "no worries... we have a large influx of shipments at our hubs. But don't worry, we will surely deliver them once regular business starts again".

Mind you. This was ON Christmas Eve!

So. No Christmas gifts this year. Our kids will wait.

NEVER EVER shipping with them again... and I will share my experience online and warn everyone I can. Stay away from these people! They are AWFUL. Can't say it enough. Just AWFUL.

CAN T WAIT TILL MY LAST TWO ORDERS COME 12/2019

Been with MY SHIPPING CART IN HAYWARD, CA. For little over 6 months. My first experience were a 5 star. These were small shipments and AIR FREIGHTed to me in the Philippines
Then i started to accumulate items to send by SEA CARGO, that's when it all started between a one and two stares. First order delivered in October DAMAGE due to improper packing ( PRODUCT NOT SECURED WITH PACKING MATERIAL) DO to product shiffting in the carton the damage occured. On contacting them, on that matter i should of just talked to the walls in my home. Picture after picture meassage after meassage. ITS still not solved and for the damage not worth the trouble... Lets HOPE i certainly do no problems with the next two orders. Then its GOOD BYE TO MSC... Secont problem which really ticked me off, i had items over 30 days in my cart which you start paying a storage fee (very fair and acceped the way they outline there service) so i send,, GAVE THEM, MSC the order ship all items in my cart plus in storage... They confurmed and sent me the cost shipping and storage cost. I sent payment. Confurmed got a meassage order shipped out. About a week or two i ordered more items from WAL MART and AMAZON and when i got a notice from MY SHIPPING CART they recieved items and are ready to ship.
I opened my cart to see and get estimate of cost shipping AIR OR SEA cargo. 9 LITTLE TO MY SUPPRIZE, half of my items that were in sorage on my past order were still in California and were never shipped out do to there incompetence. So alot of money occured of those items in storage which i had no idea were there. I was fir to ne tied very upset, meassage back and forth and talking to the wall. I had to PAY FOR THE ITEM THAT WERE STILL IN STORAGE ( they caused that problem as they only shipped half the items in storge on the prior shipment).
I recommend find another consolidator, as thats what i am doing. AND CLOSE THE BOOK ON MY SHIPPING CART. WE NEVER KNOW! Another problem you will never talk to a live person only communication is through messagess no matter what you ask for thats all you will get. OH they do have a Phone number but goes to answering system. Bad bad company. With a very great idea but can not forfill it promises... Jimmy Schneider from Negro Oriental. Have a good day!
